Great idea, i have been using a carriage bolt with T slot and routing top slot slightly larger than the square part of the carriage bolt, has been working well.

... what are the other projects you're thinking of using these on that you bought two other sets for ⁉

I really like the idea of these cam locks for a slight efficiency. However, on your bolt for the star nut knob, are you not using a bolt with an elongated head to prevent that bolt from spinning in the slot anyway?

Not in Ron's current design, but another way to handle the same issue!!

Good solution. Paul's idea of the cam lock is much faster and more secure, as it involves just the flip of a lever.

Ron, is it possible to fit two CT 26-size tools under the Palk Smart Station on top of a Paulk Smart Kart? I'm asking because I was wondering if I could fit a Festool CT Cyclone CT-VA-20 or an Oneida Dust Deputy side-by-side with the CT-26 (rather on top of) to separate the dust from the larger chips when using a router or even a thickness planer. It would keep me from having to change the bag on the CT-26 so much. Looking at a picture of the PSS it looks like it might fit.
