That pause from 8:54 - 8:57 is one of the finest things I’ve ever listened to. It absolutely kills me. Jamey and his whole band are so tight and in-synch with one another to be able to pull that off. And it’s great that those super-loud audience members 🙄 finally close their mouths and actually listen to the brilliance here.

I think he was saying that Tom Petty was a country music artist but everyone put him in the category of rock and pop. But I think Jamey was saying that Tom Petty was as country as they come.
