    This is a great tutorial. I am an advanced sewer but needed just step by step lined stocking assembly and I love that you did this on the serger - so quick and neat! This is the method I will use to make the grandkids new stockings!

    Personally I wouldn't bother getting the serger out for this as none of the seams will be exposed. You should also snip the curves so you get a neater shape (you may have done this and just no shown it).
    Overall though, this is a great tutorial and I'll be using this method to make some stockings this week :)

    Thanks for the clear and comprehensive instructions! I am just wondering if it is a good idea to top stitch all the way around the stocking so the lining doesn't shift. What do you suggest?

    • @EasyToSew
      @EasyToSew  5 лет назад

      Kelley Mueller : I think it should be fine if you like to top stitch just do what feel right for you but for me i like without top stitch and mine doesn't shift at all, i used medium weight
      for lining. I hope this helps! Thanks for watching! :)
