Wow... I just saw this video, the VFA-2 Is one of the first squadrons to fly the F-14 I love the way they made their paint scheme looks way more unique then the jolly rogers keep up the hard work!
Amazing build! How did you manage to get the hasegawa decal slide right off like that? I dipped my decal for 10 minutes and it barely move ended up tearing them apart. Thankfully its was a tail code for F-15E and i ended up buying an aftermarket decal 😂
Fortunately, the decals in this kit were in good condition, and the application went smoothly. If the decal is in bad condition, you can prevent it from falling apart by top-coating the clear!
Too long to dip for 10 mins. Such a long dipping will spoil any and all decals not only HASEGAWA one. Pick them up for about 30 SECS at maximum, put them on tissue or Gaze, and wait water sucked into them. then, they will slide right off.
@@spetsnazknife2250 yeah no, didnt work. I treated em like cartograf decals at first. Dipped it for 30s, Didnt move at all. So Dipped it again for another 30s, still no result leave it for 2 minutes. Barely moves, so i think to myself "you know what. Lets leave it there for 3 more minutes" it move but very VERY hardly. Since im afraid to tear the decal i leave it for 5 more minutes. Still hardly moving im starting to think "eh... maybe it just how it goes" and ended tearing them apart 😂
Great work!!! Man, these Model kits kept me sane throughout the lockdown/pandemic. I think i'll buy this kit and build one again. Its been a while
Very well done......a super, Super Hornet!
Great work! I'm about to start their F/A 18C kit, first model I've done in 20 years, this gives a good idea what I'm getting myself into. :)
Excellent work mt friend, the grey scheme came out perfectly, best regards from Australia.
I just got this kit from hobbylinc for $14 can't wait to build it.. you did a great job by the way.

I am confused what you did to secure the cockpit canopy at 10:05 vs finishing @28:50? If you glued it earlier, how did you remove it later?
When attaching the canopy at 10:05, it is glued partially in preparation for trouble and later processes.
@@zensmodelingstudio5034 thanks. I’m newer to modeling And I am working on this model currently. I really enjoyed your work.
Nice work

Hey what color should I use for tamyia paints? Do you have any idea or no? Or a ratio of colors I could use thanks?
This is a very difficult question. I might use the following colors.
C307⇒XF-2+XF-66(3:1)
C308⇒XF-19
Could you give a link from where you got the "Private Production" wing, please?
I asked the seller for permission to publish the link, but unfortunately it was not granted.....
What do you use to glue already painted parts?
I use Tamiya extra thin cement when I do not want to affect the painted surface or when gluing clear parts.
