So nice F-18. Awesome details and construction. Just a little complain: why do jou make a "marble" and weathering work in missiles? They supposed to be almost brand new and are storaged in very well condition away from the enviromental influence. Congrats!!!

Not only do I want to dabble in aviation models (I'm primarily armour models), I also want to play some DCS and fly my F18C about, incredible build! I love the mottling effects you did with your jet, it gives me the idea to try and translate that onto an aging tank and make a realistic fading effect

Great looking Rhino! You have the weathering dowm pat! And not to be a downer but on the starboard side your aircraft designator (the Letters) are upside down, it should have the N on top, or NH. Port side is correct. Again magnificant work!

That is the prettiest weathering on a Bug I have yet seen.
    Understated and very realistic.
I have two Foxtrots slated for VFA-41. Shall put in as much effort as you, and the aftermarket burner cans are a great incentive.

the paint I useed to paint "shadow" is clear black mix with clear brown..
I use Mr.color GX-101 and GX109.. no certain mixing ratio..heavy dilutied with thinner..
my method of operation is to lower the air pressure and spray thin layers..try to focus on the panel line, sometimes you feel like it's too shiny when finished..after couple coat of matt finish,it will be fine..
