She's great I agree but I don't agree with the rest of your statement. Paul doesn't stand out, but the rare beauty of his timbre brings on a sort of connection with the rest of the band reminding me of a mother holding the child. There's something in his voice that really makes the difference. And the way he looks at her and smiles at her during their performance reveals, at least to me, the great emotional potential of this man. To be heard, of course , especially in the songs of The Blue Nile.
My wife died last year and the words 'let me sleep so I can dream of you' are beautiful and very thought provoking. Sharleen and Paul great individual singers whose voices blend so well. A beautiful song.

heard this for the first time yesterday in a clothes shop. asked the cashier who it was . she replied its on a tape. i said can you find out who sang it on the tape. she replied, i cant leave the till. i replied if she did not find out i would leave with the till, she laughed and asked her assistant to find the singer. this song was worth getting locked up for. fantastic song and give a thumbs up for the till assistant.

Dans la première, il y a le regard de Charleen vers celui de "Paul". Dans la seconde version, le regard s'y trouve également. Le petit plus, serait le clip qui est très rigolo et c'est sympa à regarder. Il y a des couples âgés qui chantent et claquent des mains, au rythme de la chanson.
