I sometimes sit and just close my eyes and go back to this time on my mind...just immersing myself in all the memories. I cry a lot just yearning for those days that I can never get back. They were very popular back in the 90s and early 2000s,
I don’t believe we will ever have a band again like savage garden. They had some huge hits but their talent was never recognised like it should have been. The lyrical ability of Hayes and Jones, the pure poetry. All of their songs were light years ahead of the nineties/early noughties. It’s the way they capture emotions, create this heady ambience, build to a crescendo. Nobody did it like them then and nobody does today. Utter brilliance.

I think that new generations seem to be different in this respect! I work with teenagers and I’ve had the chance to get to know a bit of their perspective. I was talking in general. And it goes without saying that all peopl fall in love. I guess it’s the generation gap.
