Thank you so much for your honesty and transparency about your journey and showcasing that change in fitness goals is okay. I was a powerlifting-only girly for yearsss and basically lived in the gym until I suffered some health problems last year that forced me to take time off. I was so eager to return to powerlifting when I got better, but found myself not enjoying it as much and feeling SO guilty about it because for the longest time my identity had become wrapped up in lifting and how strong I was. I still love lifting and lift every week, but I also have also replaced some of the days that I would have been at the gym with running or yoga and I'm loving it - but I still struggle with the guilt of feeling like I am letting myself down by not pushing for maximum gains or strength. You talking about how you are just doing what you enjoy because you enjoy it was a lightbulb moment for me. It sounds silly, but I guess I forgot that is a perfectly valid reason to do something - just because you enjoy it. Thanks Syd!
Hey syd, I don’t wanna sound like your mum but please wear a helmet when you’re riding your bike! I used to work in ICU and we would get so many young patients that would come in cause they’d fallen off and hit their head and I’d hate it to happen to you girl ❤️
These type of videos inspire and motivate me so much. Like, fitness doesn't have to be this rigid, strict routine that a lot of people online paint it out to be. It can be fun and varied and beneficial for your body and mind, and i feel like you demonstrate that perfectly. Plus, you make cycling look so easy breezy beautiful and i wanna do it now lol. Looking forward to more of these videos pleaseeeeee
I just wanted to say how much you inspire me in my fitness journey. Your dedication and positivity motivate me every day. Whenever I feel like giving up, your energy keeps me going. Thank you for helping me believe in myself and push through challenges. From the bottom of my heart, thank you.
I think I was at that park with my sister! Springtime they had a bunch of azalea bushes in bloom! I remember there being a cafe at the bottom of the hill in town that had really good pastries and cappucinos. Refreshing in the afternoon after a walk in the park 😊
honestly it makes me sad that you quit powerlifting because i started it myself after watching you and i love it tbh but you still inspire me to live a good and happy life and i love you for it
You giving your dad a gym membership is so sweet! Do you have any recommendations about how to approach the topic of health/exercise with your parents in a positive way? I know how much it helped me and would love my parents to feel the benefits as well (and obviously for them to be here for as long as possible).

There seems to be a trend towards lifting women abandoning upper body. I wonder why?
