Aw, thank you. The hair will (slowly?) be changing... it was supposed to be a bit lighter this time... as we moved one of the base colours up to the lighter range, but I think she kept the bright copper and that meant... I have neon hair! I don't hate it... but it wasn't quite where I expected it to go. Next time, it will be different again as the salon is changing their colour range. I expect to go a bit lighter over the next year or so as the regrowth is just coming through so ... white. She said I kinda need to go blond but... I don't want to be blond. So... we will see what we can do.
Hi Leigh, some lovely stitching as usual. Another short week the week after next! Some hard frosts down here and cold so stitchy time in the evenings next to the fire. Hope you are having a good week.

❤Great floss tube. I finally caught up as I have been sorting my old house and now have moved into a new one. Watching you and sorting boxes of ..... Crap... Was epic. Hopefully I'll be able to stitch when it's all sorted 😂
Just quietly... i hate moving, but I like sorting boxes of... crap! haha. Be ruthless. I am pretty ruthless in most aspects of my life... except when it comes to hobbies. My stitching, the hobby I most enjoy currently, takes up the least space. And other hobbies, especially all my scrapbook albums and half finished project bin, take up the most space. sigh.
Thank you for the video. I love your stitching and meeting friends, I have had those days, and they were wonderful. Now my life is very quiet. My daughter is off to California today to be sworen into her new job, so far so good. She is supposed to get paid California wages so that she will up her money per hour a bit, and maybe she will keep her house. My house is destroyed because my kids cleaned it out so she could move back in if needed. It is funny to me because my husband even got rid of our couch which is stupid because no one has a place to sit if they come for a visit except my piano bench and it is hard wood. It's not funny, so if her life works out, I will have to go shopping, and that is not fun. It was lovely to hear from you.😊
Oh, gosh... nowhere to sit? At least people won't outstay their welcome! California wages but will she not have California living costs? or will she still be working locally?
I do get more stitching done when I am at home, but it is nice to visit with friends who speak the same stitching language, eh?

I hope so too! I love both SALs. I am thrilled they are so different in style but that they are related as to the art work they are based on. I couldn't be more chuffed... unless I had a third Leap Year project! haha

Oh thank you! The hair is a bit brighter than I expected. I don't really care... but I had said I wanted to start to lighten over the next couple of years, and she made a change... and it ended up brighter! ha. My salon is changing dye brands so next month... anything could happen!
I worked on my leap year sal also for a few days. No where near the progress you got done. Your pieces are going to gorgeous. With a hope and a prayer I will have mine completed by then. lol
I am trying to be super disciplined with my SALs. I either, a) tend to get carried away and want to stitch "too much" and finish quickly, which isn't the point of this project, or b) don't like to be told what to do (by myself) and then just don't stitch on the project and let it languish. Also not the point of this project.
I do find it difficult to STOP at my goal, but also, I kinda like having the end point each month. I am just a paradox of a stitcher, eh?
