      Thank you. I am definitely going to finish shy of my ambitious goals for finishes this year… but there are definitely a few more in me I believe.

      Haha. Indeed. I’m going to bring some of my Frakturs to A&F to get framed in March.

      Oh thank you! I actually quite like ironing. Is much rather iron than vacuum. I used to trade chores with my flatmate back in the day. I’d go upstairs and iron all his work shirts and he would vacuum the whole house including moving the furniture. I don’t move furniture except for that deep clean once a year. haha.

    I had forgotten about your Morrocan Sampler. The colours are gorgeous. Yes you can get it finished by Nov. You are a speedy stitcher.😂😂

      Me too! Well, not forgotten but … this is the problem with too many WIPs… some just end up at the bottom of the pile. Also, it’s in a small pencil case sized pouch and not a big beautiful bag. So it falls to the back of the cube I store them in.

      I am obsessed. I do not know how I never heard of her and the. I stumbled upon her last year while perusing the S section in the library and … 25 books in, I have been bingeing. 😉

    First time for everything. I cut my fabric to small for my project. I thought to wing it then later I scraped it. Just a small Autumn piece. Just wondering how many finished projects you have to frame? I picked out my frames to get at least eight projects completed. Now to find the time to get them done. Have a good week and stay Happy.

    • @CreativeLeigh1919
      @CreativeLeigh1919  Месяц назад

      Hmm. I think I have … probably close to 70 projects that I’d like to frame. I’m and around 20 that I want to finish in other ways. Eek.
      Doesn’t matter how long we have been doing this, sometimes we get the measurements wrong or start with the fabric oriented the wrong way.

    Those silks look gorgeous. I have only ever used a dinky dye silk so I am not that familiar with silk stitching. Are they easy to work with?

    • @CreativeLeigh1919
      @CreativeLeigh1919  Месяц назад

      Yes they are! SILKS4U are pretty much identical to Dinky Dyes. The owner of SILKS4U used to own the Dinky Dyes company. So the product is similar but the colours very different. I love stitching with silk, especially on linen. The texture and sound is lovely to me. SILKS4U is a very affordable way to stitch with silk. Especially a large monochromatic piece - a hank of SILKS4U is actually very cost effective. I always have a hank of the black - PR070.

    Hi, Leigh. I absolutely love your colors for the Moroccan Sampler. I just ordered the chart and fabric. Would you be so kind as to share your colors you’re using with me? If you don’t mind me copying you.

    • @CreativeLeigh1919
      @CreativeLeigh1919  Месяц назад

      Yes of course! If you are using a similar fabric I would go a bit deeper with the yellow - that’s probably the one colour that is a bit light. But I love it enough to keep going.
      The only called for is 939 for the outline.
      918, 3816, 3765, 3766, 729 and 3834.
