🎄 fun video today, and that baby!!! The babble is the best! My daughter “chatted” all the time, and she also never napped. The hand pain is real!!! I experienced it more after the birth of each of my kids. Frequent breaks and using a stress squeeze ball helps me keep my finger joints limber. Hope you and Daniel are feeling better!

Hi Megan Love the Dimensions Chart - this is so so pretty. Love the Colors. The Floss Cards that you are using for this - It does not matter what threads you put on those plastic Floss Cards from Amazon - they will not stay tight on those Floss Cards. I quit using those. If I have a Kit I will put the floss in the Floss A - Way Little Bags and then put the little Bags on a 2 or 3 inch Metal Ring. Love your other WIPS - Very Pretty. So sorry to hear about Binx. Losing a fur baby is hard. I had to put my dog down a couple of years ago. I’d had him for 10 years and it was really difficult. I hope you’re able to give another cat a home when you’re ready. Being a mom is a super hero power! I have been a working single parent for my daughter’s entire life. It wasn’t always easy. But , it goes so fast! I know everyone says that. It’s true! I remember when Jessica, my daughter was a toddler, she was like a rat on speed and stopped taking naps. I thought it would last forever. She’s now 25 and I wonder where the time went!!! 🦃😊
Dan is so upset about it I don’t think we will be getting another animal any time soon but you never know! Isn’t it so crazy how fast it goes by. People always think Malakai is my first when I’m out with just him and I’m like yeah I know I have an almost 7yo. They always look so surprised 💀😂. It’s like you blink and a year goes by. Idk how it happens 😩 it’s the best tho. Seeing them grow to be their own person.
What a time you are having! Hang in there 😰. Hopefully your hand injury will heal on its own, but if it persists please take it seriously and if you can manage it get some advice from an occupational therapist who specialises in hand therapy. ( That’s what they’re called in Australia anyway). I’ve dealt with hand pain since I had my first baby( she’s just turned 40😱😄) and I had surgery in my 30’s and still sometimes need to get some treatment for pain relief etc when I do something damaging like gardening… or making beaded bracelets 😉). Needless to say the main driver for getting help and advice has been my desire to keep stitching, and I still am, at 65. So please as a mother put yourself first sometimes. I tell my girls that all the time. Hard I know. I hope you get some sleep soon. Your new starts are inspiring. I’m also loving the autumn colour vibes in your new pieces, even though it’s the start of summer here! I’m a bit of a Christmas tragic so I’m thinking about it all already. How soon can I sneak out some decorations do you think? 🤔 🎄
I’ve gotten a couple comments from other moms with similar situations. I really think pregnancy just does a number on joints. It sucks! I’m definitely taking it easy with stitching and no more bracelets for now LOL. Sorry to Amira (my 6yo) I’m hoping everything heals on its own within this first year after birth. Try compression gloves for your hands. I wear them when I stitch for a long time and they really help. I have the kind marketed to stitchers and they work well, but the Tommy Copper brand works much better. Enjoyed your video. Love the Dimemsion kits!

I have had carpal tunnel surgery on the right years ago had and the left should be getting done now but when is there time? I type a lot at work and 104 wpm strains them. I have possible solution for the floss that won’t stay on the floss cards you made. Put the middle of the floss skein in the opening . So you have equal ends of the skein on each side of the card. Braid the floss, not tightly. You should be able to pick out individual threads from the end of the floss. I never had any problems with my DMC threads having any ripples from the braiding. That was how I kept my DMC back in the day, when all we had was the Loran Card Folder Organizers. I enjoy your flosstube videos.

I am sorry to hear that your hands have been hurting. You should talk to your doctor about it. You might have rheumatoid arthritis or another autoimmune condition, which is treatable. Autoimmune conditions tend to flare in the postpartum period. I hope that you get better soon!

Try Voltaren gel on those sore hands. Those of us who are a bit older know it helps arthritis pain. I bet it would help you, too.

Have you tried BIO FREEZE on your hands and wrists? It helped me a lot! Also, SALON PAS lidocaine patches, and Tylenol with arthritis!

When my son was teeny tiny and we were goin thru it, i always had to repeat to myself "this too shall pass this too shall pass" it was like my mantra- actually even tho hes 9 now its STILL my mantra 😉 well get over 1 hurdle and then another 1 will be right in front of me to trip on! Lol

It’s awful! The hand pain, I never experienced something like this not even after having my daughter. She is 6 now. It’s crazy how fast it goes by and how fast I forgot how hard all the sleepless night are LOL. Thank you for spending some of your day with me! 💖💖
