Dear Chia, However did I ever live without you? 🥰

I have taken chia seeds soaked in milk when I was still living in UK, mix it in natural yoghurt, missed it for some years when I moved to my hometown in the Philippines since 2019, have not asked anyone if we have them in our supermarket. Thanks to GOD one of my nieces told me it is available in one of our local supermarket. I just started one week ago having chia seeds in my oatmeal for breakfast, occasionally mix blueberries, walnuts & pumpkin seeds hoping my cholesterol level gets normal in couple of weeks. I do not eat the chia seeds raw, but soak them in mineral water, next time in unsweetened almond milk, overnight in the fridge. I love it.

No, no need to cook. Best to soak 2 tbsps chia seeds in any milk nice with unsweetened almond milk, or mineral water overnight in the fridge to produce gel-like texture to add to your oatmeal, or yoghurt, or fruit salad.

Go to a healthfood store that has the bins of self-serve grains and such. I get my organic chia at $4.00 LESS per pound than the supermarket bag. I mix chia with my choc protein powder (already blended with almond mik) and make choc chia pudding with the seeds. Have to stir the chia briskly in liquid to get it to soak up, then let sit 15 mins, then mix again and add more liquid if needed then stir hard again until it is a consistency you like, put in fridge til cold or over night.

Put in juice. Look in the veggies section for a glass bottle of juice with chia. Cool texture. They will swell in your tummy if you ingest them in salads or on bread homemade, on no sugar added ice cream or yogurt or anything you eat. They have no flavor. Put them on anything.
