I have taken chia seeds soaked in milk when I was still living in UK, mix it in natural yoghurt, missed it for some years when I moved to my hometown in the Philippines since 2019, have not asked anyone if we have them in our supermarket. Thanks to GOD one of my nieces told me it is available in one of our local supermarket. I just started one week ago having chia seeds in my oatmeal for breakfast, occasionally mix blueberries, walnuts & pumpkin seeds hoping my cholesterol level gets normal in couple of weeks. I do not eat the chia seeds raw, but soak them in mineral water, next time in unsweetened almond milk, overnight in the fridge. I love it.
I make chia seed pudding. I make it with almond milk (or whatever milk someone wants) with cinnamon, blueberries or diced apples or a banana. I soak it over night. It's soo good
No, no need to cook. Best to soak 2 tbsps chia seeds in any milk nice with unsweetened almond milk, or mineral water overnight in the fridge to produce gel-like texture to add to your oatmeal, or yoghurt, or fruit salad.
Keep chia seeds aside for some time but the language used in the commentary is out of the world. It left the lasting impact on listeners. I don't think any one could afford to ignore his advice. Three cheers to Chia seeds.
Great info and a good presentation. I’ve added them to my diet (chia seeds, soaked over night in a jar of unsweetened almond milk and a nice helping of raspberries or strawberries). It’s a nice healthy, smooth, sweet, filling, pudding.
I like to add 1 scoop of collagen to two tbl spoons of chia and pour hot tea over, cover and set in the fridge over night, before I eat the next day, squeeze a half of lemon in mix and eat
I love how you get this vital information to us😂 I have been using this the last 3 months and noticed a change in my health all kinds of ways I love them lil guys and they are cheap for the blessings they give you better run to your nearest Walmart and bags of this super food it's addiction at it's best❤🎉😂
The information you provided in this video about chia seeds daily was great and so easy to understand. I really appreciated how simply you explained everything, and the recipes were so easy to make. I tried making it, and my mom loves it too! I Will definitely be using this information and sharing it with others who are interested in learning more about the benefits of chia seeds. I recently made it with True Elements chia seeds, and it turned out amazing. Chia seeds truly are a miracle in a spoon! Thank you for sharing such valuable insights and the fantastic recipe!
Go to a healthfood store that has the bins of self-serve grains and such. I get my organic chia at $4.00 LESS per pound than the supermarket bag. I mix chia with my choc protein powder (already blended with almond mik) and make choc chia pudding with the seeds. Have to stir the chia briskly in liquid to get it to soak up, then let sit 15 mins, then mix again and add more liquid if needed then stir hard again until it is a consistency you like, put in fridge til cold or over night.
You made a whole video about cloves. I found out that combining ground cloves with green tea kills two birds with one stone! These two teas compliment one anotherher well.
The information provided in this video was fantastic! It was explained so simply and clearly, making it easy to understand. I tried out the recipes shared, and they were indeed easy to make. My mom loved them as well! I will be sharing this valuable information with others who are interested in learning about the benefits of chia seeds. Speaking from personal experience, I made the recipes using True Elements chia seeds, and they turned out amazing. Thank you for sharing such valuable insights and these wonderful recipes!
Crap video but I eat these daily, I have blueberries, raspberries or blackberries with kefir and a spoonful of these every morning for breakfast. I can’t remember the last time I felt bloated or had heartburn. My toilet visits are have been “happier” too 👍🏼😂
Put in juice. Look in the veggies section for a glass bottle of juice with chia. Cool texture. They will swell in your tummy if you ingest them in salads or on bread homemade, on no sugar added ice cream or yogurt or anything you eat. They have no flavor. Put them on anything.
Great point! It's important to be cautious with dry foods like nuts and seeds, as they can pose a choking hazard if not properly chewed or hydrated. Mixing them with moist ingredients or ensuring thorough chewing can help prevent issues. Thanks for the reminder! 😊
😳 are these the same chia seeds that are used to grow the beautiful head of grass on the chia pets? Anyone know? I don’t know why but while watching this video I instantly thought about in my memory that commercial that used to say Chi Chi Chia! Although I use chia seeds in my smoothies and yogurt, I didn’t realize there just May be a connection to the chia pet! 🤭
It doesn’t matter, any amount is good enough if you have it regularly. The narrator said to stick to under 1-2 tablespoons per day as there are 6 grams of fibre in one tablespoon. Maybe you should listen to it again.
Too much fibre can and has caused many people constipation problems. Many people need to limit it. Being soluble does make it a better choice compared the the fibre in grains.
Yes, you can cook chia seeds. They can be added to various dishes such as soups, stews, baked goods, and porridges. Cooking chia seeds doesn't significantly affect their nutritional benefits, but it's essential to remember that they absorb a lot of liquid, so they will thicken whatever dish you add them to.
You can definitely add chia seeds directly to your pot of rolled oats! They’ll absorb some of the liquid and create a nice, thick texture. Just stir them in as you cook, and enjoy the added nutrients! 😊🍯

If i put 1 tablespoon in my smoothie for breakfast and in my dinner smoothies
Thanks
Is it OK to eat them dry or should they be soaked in water first ?
Never have them dry as they swell up and could chock you.
Sprinkle on food or put in drinks smoothies👍
When you eat them dry they can stick on your wet throat as you swallow them. There stuck in your throat they absorb moisture and can cause blockage.
Soaked
I soak them with water and a splash of ac vinegar overnight. I add a little bit to my food throughout the day!
I think this is the best way to eat them,But may I ask what the ac viniger does@@Crimson256

I love chia seeds, but they are definitely bitter when blended. Leave them whole!
add some sliced bananas

Don’t the lectins in them cause inflammation?
For most people, lectins aren't a problem and can be reduced by cooking.
