I had no idea that Van had anything to do with that short film. It was really good! I watched it without having any knowledge of what the film was about, other than the movie art, so it was really interesting watching it blindly, without any bias. Hands down it was one of the best short films I saw last year. It was very impactful and it's a good conversation/think piece. I suggest everyone watch it. It's only 30min-35min long.

Van is laying out the divine footprint that lead him to the moment of him being thanked,amongst others, in the acceptance speech at the Oscar for the short film and Vlad responds "Yeah Joey Bada$$". Congrats Van and it was wonderful to watch you explain the sometimes bumpy journey it took to get there. I hope sugar will one day be sweeter than it ever was before.
