Hey Charles. You get a standing ovation for changing an injector in a parking lot with just basic hand tools. GM/Duramax gets a tip of my hat as well for making it fairly accessible and straightforward. Oh, and if that injector was still good at almost 400k miles that's also a testament as to the (overall) reliability of the Duramax platform. This video will surely be helpful to someone looking to swap out an injector. Thanks for taking the time to document this job.

Charles, thank you for sharing this! I'm in limp mode, in Meridian Mississippi (about 600 miles from home) due to my #7 injector. No one can get me in foe a week and I have to get my load delivered to Louisiana by tomorrow. You are a lifesaver!! Now, I just need to find an injector near me! Again, you are very appreciated by many viewers, especially me. Thank you!

Dang, i wish i was closer. I would definitely change the connector then start the engine and see if that fixes it before replacing the injector. I jumped to the injector then had to take it back apart and change the connector for the second time then it was good. Good luck sir and if i can be any help my email is cfarmeronyt@gmail.com
