    Thank u so very much for the detailed explanation! I just moved and accidently clicked into the master settings. I had no clue what those numbers meant, and how to change back to farenheit. Thank u, so much again! ❤️

    WOW. David Jones just might be the last residential HVAC business owner, installer, and all around honest man on the planet. Thirteen years ago I purchased the subject Thermostat for my home for about $10.00 from a big box store. Today, July 4, 2020, only 13 years later, that unit is not longer available, but the similar current model by Honeywell now sells at my big box store for $45.00 dollars ! NOTICE: NOW I know why almost everyone on the planet wants and scraps for all the money one man can get; INFLATION ! Better make sure you own the land you live on, have a good fresh water well, a maintainable septic system, a roof over your head, AND someway to get food on a daily basis because you are likely going to need it. word to the wise; take it from me; a 76 year old fool....!

    if you need to change CELSIUS TO FARENHEIT. DO THIS. very simple. hold the two arrows down at same time until it changes. then you will see two numbers, one on the right, and a double digit on the left. you can totally go down the list of numbers with the arrows. I think the top arrow controls the right numbers(cant remember off top of my head) . make sure you leave the numbers where they were tho because youll only need to change one of those. once you figure out what arrow moves what number youll see numbers 5-7-9-14-30-70 ... go to the #14 and itll be on number 1 or 0 . if its on 0 leave it to 1. if its on 1 move it to 0 i cant remember off the top of my head which ones farenheit but thats how you do it to change that setting.

    Just to note this programmable thermostat is a store brand sold to non technicians. Ones from your HVAC company are same kind of thermostat different model number. You as a customer put this in and it doesn't work then your out that money and any damages done to equipment due to the fact your not a technician so therefore no warranty. 5 years warranty is if installed by qualified technician.

    good thing I was ale to eventually figure this thing out on my own. this video did not answer the one simple question I had about this stupid thing. how do you turn off that stupid weekday/ weekend shit that no one cares about?

    • @UserCdk1
      @UserCdk1 8 лет назад +2

      +kenny mccoy That's what I wanna know! haha.

    • @kennykennym
      @kennykennym 8 лет назад +1

      +UserCdk1 I don't live in that house anymore. I think you just push the hold button and it won't do the stupid week and time of day automatically. so once you have it set on either heat or cool just push the hold button. either it pops up on the screen right away or you have to push it a few times. I can't remember exactly.

    Didn't help me at all, I just want to cancel or reset and start over so I can set the thermostat manually to different temperatures during night and day where it gets hotter than hell west of Phoenix, I have to regulate the temperature setting throughout the day so when it gets 115 deegrees I set it to 87 so it doesn't constantly run my AC to death, I hate this thermostat thinking about blasting it off the wall frustrating as hell.
