If this were a drinking game, we'd all die more than cats have lives.
this would be a hell of a poster for Commander Clash
I have another, some variation of "A player doesn't cast his commander". Maybe just Seth, lol
Who else can add to this list?
I'm not that familiar with Bingo rules, but "Comments are mad" feels like a free one.
I’m actually 100% in on making a weekly bingo card for this but where do we host it?
If Tomers playing his budget deck, then he’s always a threat.
They've figured me out
Seeing tomer fill his graveyard while Richard had a scavaging grounds in his hand felt like the movie JAW lmao
Tomer: If you have no experience with wrenches, you shouldn't get an adjustable, you'll probably just round the corners off most of your nuts. make sure it's tight on the nut.
Crim: "Take the monarch Tomer"
Tomer: "I don't want an 8/8 attacking me!"
Crim: *"TAKE THE MONARCH TOMER!"*
Me: "holy shit this is how Jared was designed to work!"
An offer one cannot refuse.
Seeing that Crim doesn't even run Overwhelming Splendor made everyone's fear very funny.
Does anyone else love the pithy text comments from the editor as much as I do? Great episode! These new commanders look like fun to build around.
The best part is Tomer called it in the review that when Seth cast the new wheel he would take a lot more than 10 damage for a wheel.
Editor: we don't get to see Crim's hand :(
Richard: I got you fam
34:15 Can't wait for Tomer to find out that mana cost reduction for spells cast from the graveyard does NOT, in fact, work with Encore as Encore does not cast the card but is an ability activated from the graveyard.
I wonder if he ever found out
Seth exiling the Scripture is tilt-worthy.
Richard *Has 16 Power on the battlefield*
Seth : "I am going to tap out and put myself at 16."
Richard: "Oh, you are approaching me?"
I was dying when the combats skipped by Seth counter popped up. Great episode
I ❤️ you editor!
I found it amusing how no one noticed that when Seth played the Hellion, it specifically says that the damage can’t be prevented, so if his commander was I play he would have just killed it 😆
Editor: There's no "kind of" agreement at 1:07:39, it is a straight up agreement.
Tomer: "So let's not hit each other."
Seth: "Ok, let's. Ok."
I love how super nice guy Seth is like this low key evil Agreement breaking monster! 🤣😂
What agreement? I don't remember any agreement...
Tomer "hates hedron archive"
Always tomer "lets cast this sky diamond for 4 mana"
Today I learned that Seth projects his desire to draw a card onto others.
Richard: *just put an Eldrazi into his hand*
Crim: *literaly said he doesn't want to wheel*
Seth: Hmm... eveeryone will want to wheel.
This Commander Clash sounded like an episode of The Crown:
"Take the monarchy"
"I don't want the monarchy"
"TAKE IT"
Probably my favorite intro. It’s how you know y’all are a bunch of friends playing commander.
Now that 3 visits is within the budget ban, Richard immidiately breaks it with a 270$ card.
These are the kind of breaks that I personally am fine with. It's not expensive because its powerful, just old and reserved list, and it feels right in the deck.
33:00 Richard is killing me, "maybe im a warrior deck" XD
These episodes are always so good, thank you everyone at MTGGoldfish for making us this content
Seth exiling Scriptures just filled me with rage.
"I thought paying 15 for Wheel of Misfortune was being conservative" -Seth, paraphrased
You don't have to pick the very highest to get the wheel - you just have to pick anything above the lowest. Knowing that at least one person didn't want to wheel (and knowing Richard had Kozilek in hand, which makes him less likely to), paying 1-3 was extremely safe. I normally just look over punts, it's all in good fun, but Seth's train of thought here was SO far beyond me, hahaha. Gotta draw those cards!
Best part of my Fridays! Get to make lunch and relax before I have to go to work!
I love Tomer's evil giggling
I just love how everyone is talking about Tomer comboing off, and Seth wins by comboing off, smh
Yeahhh my boi Hamza!! great episode btw
The abacus will remember how you tried to replace it with a wrench, Tomer (probably better known as Doctor Anime).
The abacus will hold you to account.
This was an absolutely amazing episode of commander clash
Best preview ever!
1:00:50
Just when I was thinking "but Spawnsire costs 20..."
Editor coming in clutch with the "I gotchu fam"
Looking forward to seeing the beginning step sphinx!
Seth might be the worst aggro player in the known world lol
so unless im wrong, araumi didnt get to encore a single creature, jarred didnt attack once, ghen got to swap 1 enchantment in the graveyard and hamza bearly got to lower anythings cost..... so why does this game feel like it was such an amazing gem to watch😅🤣.... but seriously this was a blast yo watch, the back and forth was hilarious !
This was a rollercoaster of a game!
I love how they were worried about the hellion hitting Jared and becoming massive when that doesnt even work, the damage cant be prevented and Jared would've just died lol.
He also gains the counters still, so it should leave him at 3 toughness left even after the non preventable damage
@@josephhawkins7974 it dies before it gets the counters
No it doesn't die, it all happens simultaneously. It's similar to how you can block with a lifelinking creature to stay alive even if you're would have dropped below zero
Mist of Stagnation was my first rare. I love any excuse to play it. I had literally no idea what it did, but it's so great
Disclaimer: Volcano Hellion states damage cannot be prevented so it doesn't actually work with Jared.
It can't be prevented, but it can be redirected (with something like Pariah's Shied/Pariah) to a hopefully indestructible (thanks to something like Darksteel Plate} Jared.
The reason necromancy wasn't an aura is because the ability to turn it into an aura was countered by not having targets after the gy was exiled
Nice to see we’re not diving straight into the new Mythic commanders.
These are all the commanders ive been excited to play
Tomer hyped up mist of stagnation and failed the beast within check. Damn, Seth, that was cold hahahahah
I think Tomer should start putting Juzam Djinn in all of his decks, just so they're not budget. That will take the heat off of him.
28:56 crim - "because its funny"
Guys, straight up this series is the best commander series, period. I love Game Knights and all but this series brings all the feels.
I was waiting for tomer to say can we adress the elephant in the room glad I was right
Dream Weaver
I believe
you can get me
through the ni-hight
I built a very similar deck to Seth's using stuff like Enrage, Boros Reckoner, and Pyrohemia. Trapjaw Tyrant and Pyrohemia are all-stars
My favourite part of this video is the Opposition Agent player getting library search locked! Man it's great when someone playing spikey cards get their cumuppence
Looks like working as intended to me. You auto-yield through phases, but get the opportunity to respond to the stack.
So if I do that stuffy doll combo on brash taunter its lethal for all opponents now right?
Super love that Seth played an aggro deck and won with a combo. Good times!
I love these commanders! This game’s gonna be good.
Edit: It was good.
Yall "mention" Spawnsire when talking about 20 mana costed things but IIRC it was bugged for a while (and still might be) where it's coded as 2 and 0 and not 20. There was a point in time where you could pay 2 for its cost and cheat in all the eldrazi from your sideboard due to the bug.
You guys have done commander clash where you have to use a random card. What if you did a commander clash where you have to use 2 random partners commanders. Now that there's plenty of partners it would make for some really interesting decks.
I like this idea.
Can't wait to see Gavin next week.
Watching Seth jailer the scriptures was painful to watch
Oh damn that Beast Witihin! :D
Riceberry is not the same variety of rice as black rice. It is, in fact, a new strain of rice that was developed by the Kasetsart University in Thailand. It's a cross-breed variety, developed from Jao Hom Nin and Khoa Dawk Mali. The research was published in 2017, and frankly I'm surprised that it's been grown enough that they've begun export.
Volcano Hellion is a nonbo with Jared. The Hellion's damage can't be prevented so whatever damage you deal to Jared with it, is just damage. Jared doesn't prevent the damage and doesn't gain +1/+1 counters. Now, Stuffy Doll + Pariah(Shield) + Volcano Hellion is a combo, as the Pariah effect is a redirect, not an attempt to prevent damage.
I'm three years late but in case anyone is reading this and considering it for their own decks, this isn't true. The damage won't be prevented but the +1/+1 counters will still be put on Jared, and since this happens before state-based actions are checked, Jared will always survive the damage (since he'll get as much of an increase in toughness as the damage being dealt).
Jared+Pariah --> I am the King FOREVER! Bwahahaha
I love Tomer’s villainous laugh
As a person from the State of Maine, I have to comment on Tomer's "Wicked Smaht!" Wondering what inspired it xD
Come for the magic, stay for tomer’s jokes
Have not finished video yet btw.
Can Crim not sac cruel realities to itself since opalescence makes it a creature?
I believe curses are auras so it wasn't a creature
Seth why did you pick 15 life right after Crim said he didn't want to wheel?
I didn't trust Crim. I thought it was a trick to keep me from drawing cards!
@@MTGGoldfish made it much funnier when the card directly said 0 on it seconds later. Also Seth remember you don't need to be the highest bidder just not the lowest.
11:00 Richard, it's not "really" a user error but when you set the "yield until my turn" stop on your 1st main phase, you were in that same phase and modo seems not to like it. You need to actually set it after you pass the phase you want to yield until on your next turn. That's why I always yield until my draw phase, personally. If you had followed Tomer's advice of "doing it again", which would have needed you to remove the stop and put it back, it would have worked as intended.
Tomer why didn't you play ashiok to stop the rector from even being good?
I would really appreciate it if y’all could work on announcing the cards as you cast them. RUclips isn’t the clearest video and for someone like myself I still have to look up about 30% of everything y’all play so please state what you cast for your viewers sake ?
At around 1:25:00, why didn't Richard cast Ghen and enchant it with the Darksteel Mutation when controlling Crim? That way the curse couldn't be sac'ed to Ghen later.
Crim would sac it to the curse it didn't matter what he enchanted with the mutation.
Although a good episode, I think those legends needed a second game. It was less about them and more about the 99 synergies that didn’t really had the chance to synergize with the actual Commanders. Tomer’s commander needs Greaves and Swiftfoot Boots and more counters to keep her safe on the board
Hadn't watched in a while. I don't remember Seth punting this much, but oh boy the plays this game.
I remember that I once punted away a game with terastadon
❤️❤️❤️
I mean if they aren't activating their commanders anyway, they can keep using commander legends forever :)
I thought Seth on stream said he was playing Hans. Maybe that episode airs next week.
Yeah, Hans is next week's episode.
@@MTGGoldfish Looking forward to it. Any chance instead of a cartoon image of Hans in the thumbnail, there will be Seth in cosplay?
Richard's view point makes it look like his video card is about to explode.
The way i see jared is naya control with a voltron finisher
Has anyone gotten Seth to play OG Multani? He can draw all the cards he wants, and love when others draw them, and also actually attack maybe, because he won't be petrified of being swung at? Green is good enough for mono play, seems like sweet, sweet synergy to me!
Jared is so cool. Even when people can answer it, it forces a kind of game that's very enjoyable
You have to undo and redo yield until every time
Who is playing next week? Did I miss the hint? Gosh I hope it’s Tom, I don’t think Tom will play nicely with Crim haha
It's Gavin
"Just trust me!!! " Richard
RICHARD!!! why didnt you use elephant graveyard to save yourself?!?!
Wheel of Misfortune staring me in the face on Richard's Emrakul turn... That's an easy win right? Shame there's no way to take that
every time crim casts hullbreacher or opposition agent i'm going to lose a year off my life.
Tomer should get a rattle instead of an abacus.
666 is apparently the number of the Emrakul
Tomer getting to gloat for just long enough before the Beast Within into blowout, 10/10
Gavin gave it away on Twitter basically. It's gavin
When Richard was taking Crim's turn, he should have cast Ghen, then put the darksteel mutation onto it. Then again, the he would have been able to sacrifice it to the cruel reality anyway. Also don't think Cruel reality should have been the pick either. Still good games guys.
Seth should be banned from aggro decks and pigeonholed into playing Pramikon-esque decks for the rest of his days on Commander Clash.
The wrench
I think pyrohemia might have been good in the jared deck. Also considering how seth played Jared, he should have had ways to reliably give Jared vigilance.
TOMER!!!!
Stop talking about your graveyard you’ve got a stickers supplier in there!! SMH
Lol, that’s me yelling at my phone @1:00:00.
Let’s see if he figured out that’s one of the best cards in the deck before this is over.
Just giving you shit tomer, but also I love Hared and thought the deck was fun to watch @SaffronOlive
It was cool seein the political side of the card shining through this game so far haha
Wait, Seth's not playing himself with Hans ?
Next week
1:54:06 arcbond + stuffy doll + guilty conscious + pariah.
