"Take my hand, and i promise you power" - Crim is starting to sound more and more like an anime-villain. Love it
When wasnt he an anime villain?
"What are you gonna do, counter it?" - Quote from man countered 23:17
"What are you gonna do, stap me?" Man says right before getting stabbed
Crim with a hand containing "Mana Drain, Counter Spell, Force of Will, Cryptic Command, Force of Negation and Sublime Epiphany" I do not have one counterspell.
Technically true
@@kingfuzzy2 Which is the best kind of true! :)
I love how tomer first tried to use heliod to give lifelink to himself, then used it to give lifelink to liesa which already has lifelink :P
This hurt me to watch. Between that, Bruna, and Akroma's will apparently no one on commander clash RTFC.
Damn you sound a bit upset about it? Lol.
It’s commander clash man, they’re having fun.
@@poofypeanut0221 you still want to see good plays. imagine watching sports where the players didn't know what they were doing. would that be enjoyable? no. this is the same
Not even close to the same thing dude lol. Sounds like you should be watch some cedh channels if that’s what you’re looking for.
Not saying they don’t make good plays here, but you’re comparing sports (as competitive as it gets) to an edh channel of four friends that have been playing together for quite a while.
@@poofypeanut0221 even a kid playing t-ball should know which end of the bat to hold and which way to run around the bases. I don’t expect them to make tight, expert plays, but I *do* expect them to know what their own cards do
I literally laughed out loud so bad when Richard said “wait you can pay mana for that spell!?!?” (Fierce guardianship)
Lmao, leave it to commander clash to cheer up the mood. Thanks guys 😊
I was screaming at my screen for Richard to cast Mana Tithe! Thanks Richard, you did not disappoint. I liked the video just for that.
Reading The Card Explains The Card: The Commander Episode Special
Bruna also triggers on blocks, so Sigarda would’ve been a tasty meal.
I feel bad for Richard he was shot in the foot right at the start. Like hey guys I built an aura deck I'm so ready. Crim so my commander says take control of all auras. Richard 😥
This might be the highest density of punts I’ve ever seen from Seth LOL
Love "The Room" reference from the Liesa deck title "You're Tearing Me Apart"
Seth getting mana tithe'ed is absolute gold.
I love how crim’s deck is called the best angel sister [citation needed]
Source(s): Dude trust me
That's karma for reminding everyone of what you did to Tomer, Seth.
When in doubt, just assume Seth is pronouncing it wrong.
wait, at 1:00:00, did tomer just give his commander, who already has lifelink, lifelink with heliod?
Yes more than once
49:27 I laughed so hard. Seth was spot on. “How are you going to be good here with two players?” Bit
Had to check the list and, yep, Smothering Tithe in each list! Hard to knock such a needed white card.
Can't wait to finish the video!
Theory: Crim has only been trying to end the game so he has more time for his MMOs

"I'm a neutral party, I'm Sweden here"
Did... did you mean... Switzerland?
Dang it. Found your message after posting mine. Good catch!!
I mean Sweden was neutral in WW2. Except they traded iron with the Germans because they were threatened by them.
Sweden has not been in a war for over a 100 years so yea, also neutral. Switzerland's neutrality is actually kind of special since its an "aggressive neutrality". One could argue that Sweden has been more neutral depending on how you view that whole trade thingie. Switzerland's position in the middle of war-torn Europe did put it in a bit of a pickle though.
Sweden is not in Nato, so that's correct
I'm surprised that Crim didn't go with the W/B sister to run Demons
I had a Gisela deck built around Helm of the Host and getting multiple Gisela. It was pretty fun!
That Seth punt is incredible
Yes i'm so glad i recommended this and so glad you did it!!!!
Before I even watch the video, I'm going to take wild guess and say that there's a 90% chance hat Tomer chose Gisela, made Boros equipment, and spends the entire game trying to assemble Kaldra
oof
Crims bluff at the end is just the fricking best. Some of his commander philosophy ideas aren't that great but man he looks fun to have at a table. And so good natured.
Tomer: "mana tithe! mana tithe!"
Me: ahaha, that would be nice
*looks at Richard's hand*
ooooh shieeet!
I'm stoked for this episode. My first goal ever for when I started edh, and magic in general (back around Born of the Gods)was to make a deck for each of the sisters and avacyn. Giesela was my first deck and is currently a sun and moon style deck with a damage multiplier theme. Bruna was next and is an enchantress control deck with a voltron finish. Sigarda is a cat/equipment deck...also rather voltrony. Liesa I'm still tweaking as it was originally a Selenia deck based on Tomer's list and I thank you for that bit of nonsense... Liesa, however, really wants to do different things than Selenia.
Oh and Avacyn is angel tribal.
BIG PUNT energy for Seth this week! hahaha
Tomer chanting for the Tithe ahead of time puts this at A grade clip material. Richard making good on his resolutions for sure.
One of my favorite weeks yet!
Alternate title: Seth gets bullied the first 5 turns
The clip around 23:00 or so could go on the list of Commander Clash Greatest Moments
"What, are you going to counter it?" -man who was countered
Most aggressive CC ever? Even Tomer was pretty aggro for a control/drain deck. Also, those two turns in game 1 were absolutely brutal for one of you guys lol
1:11:56 Assignation? does the editor mean assignment? I do not think it means what you think it means.
Why when Richard attacked Crim did Crim not block and just steal all the auras and kill sigarda?
oh the punts game one. oh seth, normally don't comment on punts but that was something special to watch.
I see that Tomer is a fan of "The Room" lol
Seth tapping out to cast a do nothing card instead of keeping up removal. Nice.
Love those 2 games videos
The goldfish crew should definitely have X spell week. Where the entire crew plays decks centered around decks and/or commanders that enable or benefit from X spells. It would be super cool to see what what commanders people choose, the colors we would see and what way you all woulf take your decks
The mana tithe needs to be a commander clash moments video 😂 had me laughing so hard
To Seth:
Congratulations, you played yourself.
love seeing tomer use his heliod to give liesa lifelink like she doesnt already have it
Yeah my idea got through :D (well. I was One of them at least xD)
Also sad Richard sigarda noises xD
23:30 oh yes, "the meme is now real"!
Oh man, that Jeska's Will was painful!
1:00:00 Tomer giving lifelink to the only creature on his board that already has it is pretty good I guess
Sometimes i wish there were 4 versions of these videos so we could pick our preferred commander pov
Crim really is the least salty player. He gets hated out because Richard didn't read Crim's card and is perfectly cool afterwards. Good attitude that we can all learn from.
Editing team - could you do a bit more to equalize the voice levels on these videos? I end up not watching most of the time because the voices go from very quiet and thin (Tomer) to loud and booming (Richard). Run a compressor on each voice channel to keep the level consistent, turn the bass down on Richard, and turn Tomer up to start.
I thought it was OK. You may have headphones with way too much bass, like my old ones. Try reducing the bass with equalizer settings.
That first game was one of the sloppiest commander clashes I've ever seen. Oh my God Seth and Richard threw those games so hard.
haven't watched yet but love the new thumbnail format
It's way too sad that Richard didn't read all four of them. My deck is a Sigarda Aura Voltron. I figured when I saw the theme the Sigarda player would be going Equipment with her.
Couldn't seth's keeper of the accord kill tomer's heliod on the block? Am i missing something? Tomer kept attacking with it and seth was just chumping with the token, he had shadowspear and gisela
Its hard to decide who to cheer for. Sigarda is my favorite magic card and my first 1v1 edh deck, Gisela was my favorite card and was my first commander deck, I love my no nonsense Bruna commander deck, and I really want to build Liesa.
38:00 family reunion! Everyone is here!
Great episode, love the punts and tithes and banter
The fact that Richard didn’t play Sigarda’s aid is a massive flavour fail
as someone that owns a Sigardia Equipment deck I approve
Crim talks about how expensive Bruna is to cast and still only runs 33 lands (incuding Ondu inversion). I am surprised he didn’t need to mulligan more.
Never change Crim, we love you just the way you are.
Hey that's more lands than he used to use. Baby steps.
"I'm Sweden here".... I think you meant Switzerland. Lol Not all Americans suck at geography. Love y'all!!
Who said it? I am pretty sure all of them except Seth grew up in Canada.
Also Sweden has also been neutral in the past like ww2
That mana tithe is another classic moment in this series. Ouch.
I just realized that tomers deck name is a reference to The Room
Bruna is one of my favorite commanders that I never play, this episode shows exactly why.
Shame we can't have the 4 Demons Pact (Kothophed, Griselbrand, Razaketh, and Belzenlok) since Griselbrand is banned in EDH. Maybe they could still try but replace Griselbrand with Nicol Bolas.
What happened between Crim and Tomer for Tomer to always hit him for the most at every opportunity?
Can anyone Link their Bruna lists? I've had her built before, I just don't know what new cards may be good
Not Tomer paying 2 to give his already lifelinking commander lifelink everyturn
Does Seth not have a savage beating in his hand towards the end? I can’t really see what he had but surly that wins him the game through 2 blockers.
You all should have a chance for a fan/subscriber to get into a game with you all because I would love to be a part of this! 😂
I like that White got the spotlight this week.
Seth played sigarda a year or two ago an attempt to be more agrro and attack. But not much happened on his end. See how Richard does in comparison
The correct way to pronounce any card is whatever way Saffron Olive doesn't pronounce it.
Idk why this is dawning on me, but tomer reminds me of wheatley from portal
love to see a good mana tithe
how did it happen that in a game where all play a 6 mana angel as commander this game was more aggressive than ever. the word kill was probably said mor in these games than the entire history of commander clash.
wel Ardenn is a option Richard (i got a paper equip Sigarda deck XD)
1:00:01 Tomer!! Liesa already has lifelink! You gotta know what your commander does my dude.
All 4 decks were sweet
THE PUNTS!!
Tomer u need to build a linvalla shield of sea gate deck its tons of fun u get to play all of the azor high end mythics like arcanis and not get punished plus u can get some cool value from sacimg her and keep recurring her
Dear god I NEVER wanna play poker with Crim
In reality its Tomer's fault for thinking that Crim didn't have counter magic for once
@37 not even crim read his own commander... "...or blocks"
Bruna cast with haste at 33:12. He has Battle Mastery aura in his hand and doesn't play it with Bruna's ability...WHY?!?. Bruna doesn't say one it says any number which to most players is every single Aura. Double strike commander damage with other aura giving him base Power Toughness 8/8 he could two shot someone. Guess he really does want second place. Again at 37:16 Bruna player is attacked and could block with Bruna and Steal...All the Aura of attacking player...All...not 1...not 2...All making Bruna, indestructible, base PT 8/8, lifelink, +2/+2, double strike, trample...I can't even finish the game as it was literally just given away!😣
You guys should totally do creature like tribal. What I mean is you build a deck that only has creatures of a name ( 4 cmc 3/3 hill giant tribal) or ( 3 mana 2/2 gray ogre tribal) this is hard to explain but I hope you understand what I'm trying to say
Why are all the commanders poking out there tongues at me?
I live for those Mana Tithes 😂😂😂
Punt, the musical
Seth should have totally gotten Roilling Vortex to hose Tomer second game.
The counter is to play equipment bogles instead of aura bogles
*Sees Hullbreacher actually banned in commander* @1:28:40 This did not age well....
Kinda hoping the "ill take 2nd" passes sooner then later. One of the most annoying things to deal with at a commander game. People purposefully playing for 2nd.
I get its mostly tongue in cheek... But its annoying to hear that joke 18 times a game :/
actually avacyn belongs in the cycle as the white part
he also has 2 keywords, another ability, and costs 2 white + a white as color requirements
But Bruna, Sigarda, Gisela and Liesa were the original ones, right? Sorin made Avacyn. He didn't make the others, did he?
@@TheChibidono i think avacyn made the others
I dint know about the story, but for carddesign avacyn is the white part of the cycle.
Also it really annoys me that liesa kindof breaks the cycle, she should cost either 4 or 9 mana, so that the manacosts of them would be (4),5,6,7,8,(9)
I miss the squares for the title card
Why does Liesa have nopplez on her armor in the thumbnail?
Last time I was this early Tomer was killed turn 4.
Richard reaaaally should have played Sigarda, Heron's Grace.
Richard could have killed Crims commander in the first game in the attack declaration step so he could not beacon it back letting survive and kill Crim in the backswing.
