FORMULA:
⭐️Prep & protect strands with Joico Defy Damage bond builder
⭐️Balayage with #goldwell Oxycur & 6% - 9% ⭐️Tone with Goldwell US Express Toner in 10 Icy
⭐️Finish with Thermafuse HeatSmart Serum & Straight.
Takeaways: That “back money piece” is everyyythanggg. The outer triangular sections are generously painted in lightener to add length & brightness to your balayage, & the center triangle is either omitted completely, or it’s balayaged extra far from the scalp to create lots of depth & dimension! Don’t be afraid to touch your balayage. Gently smudging each section will create a beautiful blend. Just be sure to use EVEN PRESSURE when smudging, and keep a towel near by to wipe off any excess lightener from your gloves to keep from unwanted color transfer when smudging. Balayage used to scare the crap out of me, but like any skill, the only way to get GOOD anything is to suck it up, feel the fear & then DO IT ANYWAY - and then do it again & again & again.
