Money Piece Foil Placement

- AUDIO ON 🔈 - Here is the FULL version of the foil placement I showcased two weeks ago on Instagram. I actually used this exact placement TWICE today, as it’s a great way to create a “poppin’ money piece”! Keep in mind - the triangular section of teasylights directly behind the “money piece” foils: The depth in the triangle is ESSENTIAL to creating the contrast/the “pop” in that money piece, and the lightened ends from the teasylights in that triangular section are necessary for tying it all together.

Some people are born with gifts - Emily is a natural teacher born with the gift to teach.
Wow! That was such a great tutorial! And I'm not someone who ever comments, but really wanted to compliment you on how you broke things down during the finished look, so helpful!
WOWWW IM ABSOLUTELY IN LOVE WITH THE WAY YOU EXPLAINED THAT! 😱♥️♥️
Amazing video! Amazing educator! Straight to the point but still giving us in depth explanation! Ugh I’m in LOVE!

Love how detailed and well you explained this!! Two thumbs up. Love this video.
You killed this video. Awesome job. ❤️❤️ loved the way you explained. It’s like it all clicked.
OMG I'm not a hairdresser and I did this to my daughter hair and came so beautiful and so diffuse. She is brunette I didn't have to use toner. Now I wanted for my self. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.💕
Hi what number volumer did u use ... ima brunette too!
Love the way you described your technique. I have always instinctively combined these methods. It's nice to have a road-map of how to do it more consistently. You are amazing!!!

thank you so much for this! i dont see many super detailed videos like this at all. im gonna try this on my clients!
Freaking amazing ♡ I'd love to see some color theory while toning videos. We all know the basic color wheel, but for some reason, it gets tricky applying it to real life hair. All of the different color lines, and color names and lettering. I think those kinds of tutorials/videos are much needed 💖
TRUELY! Nobody does those types of videos.
Thank you!!! for sharing your talent and knowledge!!! This is so helpful and easy to understand!!! I can't wait to try it out! 💜
Awesome
Video! Quick and to the point. Perfect explanation of the foil patterns and placement. Thanks so much!!
I love the idea of the money piece, but this fixes ALL the cons I've had about them! Thanks for sharing!

Subscribed because you explain SOO well. Great video.😍
great video , I think this looks so much more elegant and expensive of a blonde compared to freehand balyage. I will definitely be using , keep it up, I need these vids haha , watching from Ireland
Looks terrific!!!
This video is GOLD

You're amazing! Thank you so much for sharing 🙌💖
I did this tutorial on my hair while watching your tutorial. Cant wait to see the results. I'm licensed. Just off for pandemic
Ruby Hampton how did it go??
It came out super cute. A foiling pattern I had never seen. I think I made the triangle a little larger than I should have but when I toned it. It is perfect.
This was great explaination. You’re a great instructor. What products do you use and do you add olaplex because i notice you overlap on previously lightened hair
I can’t seem to find a good explanatory video for doing dark natural caramel highlights or balayage. I’d love to see a demo on that! I also loved this video, super helpful.💛
This was excellent.
Thank you for sharing your work your videos are so well explained 💯 your are a awsome❤️🙏
AWESOME VIDEO. VERY CURRENT!!!!!
Can you please post the products that you used? This was an AMAZING and easy to follow tutorial!
A+!
THANKYOU! loved this video
So satisfying
Thank you so much for share it. I love it
amazing job well done
Hey, new to your channel. Can I ask why you went through to the ends? Bleach over bleach. Wouldn’t that destroy her ends? Why not leave them out? A toner would have matched them. Thanks 😊
Great tutorial. Thank you for sharing!
I’m going to try this ... for brunette hair should I buy a low developer?
Thank you for this video❤️.
Loooove this thank you 🙏 you have a new subscriber ❤️❤️❤️
Wow! Lovely thanks I loved this tutorial 🤗
love it
Would you classify this as a partial/face frame highlight? Also would you ever do this technique with a full head of highlights as well or just on its own? Thanks for the great video!!
Simply amazing!! Thank you!!!
Amazing!!!
great video and explanations! thank you so much!
Exelente técnica.👏👏👏
Absolutely perfect!!!!!
Nice work
I want to do this so bad! Did you apply toner all over the head?? I have medium dark brown hair and I'm always worried about toning because it's hard for me to pull out the hair I have just bleached.
Super Technik👌Perfekt👍
Amaizing
Thank you for breaking it down! What type
of sectioning did you do on the sides? Diagonal partings?
Wow me encantó
Great tutorial.
Yes, I also place this way...but how to avoid breakage even on virgin re-growth?
Love this!!!❤️
What did u say abt that triangle on d top? Did u mean to keep the triangle a lil on the right hand side too? And not cut it to make it square?
Very well explained thank you Can you do a video on root touch involving a money piece
Very nice
What developer did you use? How long does it take you for the foil placement? Thanks!
Thank you
Perfection💕👏🏻👌🏻
Great tutorial! Thank you! Question...when you say diffuse the pieces, are you talking about with a Blowdryer?
Dunno if you still need to know 8 months later, but she meant to diffuse the bleach. As in spread it out & blend it.
thank u so mcuh ... so helpful
Do you weave for trash lights ?
🎖
Love it..
How would you do this if someone has a short bangs?
What kind of foils are you using?
Wow
A really good tutorial, a little less speeding up would be nice though? But all in all great result 🤩
Yeah it's hard to watch and understand because certain parts are sped up and others are not.
Nice.
This is absolutely perfect.... I would love to have my hair done by you!!!! Where are you at and how can I com to see you,I have always had disastrous results after visiting hair salons..... please reply to my request!!!!
What fools are you using ?
What if my client wants color in between to cover greys? How would I do that with this technique? Could i do all the roots and then highlight at the same time?
I do grey coverage in between foils i usually use a lower developer 7 and 10 vol then tap in between the foils with that grey coverage color can process and it all turns out well!
Very Smart and considered
I'm an experienced colorist of
40 year and have done my fair share of teaching .Always interesting looking at others
Technique s . Thanks for the tips
Regards Richard .
