FW190 a4 was my favourite plane in realistic battles. Over 300 battles, with over 1000 kills and 90% win ratio. Fantastic plane. Your match here reminded me my best fights :) I left War Thunder over two years ago due to family duties. But I see there are still great pilots here :)
It's a great plane indeed, and you sir should definitely return to WT! More great pilots is good!
Lmao, yeah I have scared my lady and kids a few times, now she just gets mad at me when I get excited about a good kill or a win. The kids just laugh at me. They say I am being a silly old man. :)
My kid cant talk yet, but the lady got a little angry with me as well ;) the kid just had a scare :)

That fight with the hellcat was amazing. It’s one of the moments where the one who thinks quicker really comes out on top. Great pilot all around.

3 years late but what can I say!!amazing use of the roll and throttle against that hellcat.
When your speed is low, you can use flaps to turn fast, it really helps.
it doesn minik, but its still not good, like it was in RL.
i’ve been playing the A4 recently and i absolutely love this plane, it’s my favourite fockkewulf by far, this and the p40 are my favourite planes
Amazing!!! I'm good in the 109 but can't quite get the hang of the 190s... Looking at this video it's probably cuz I'm not very good at defensive flying

Same, i'm better in 109. but i hard to flight with 190
I prefer all 190’s to the 109’s, except I really enjoy the k4. Thats about it.
Great video - that kill at 4.30 was amazing, good defensive flying and turning the tables on the hellcat

Again 4 :1 :D..and Outstanding Win :D. This dodge fight with late Hellcat was the best part - low scissors with reducing speed and roll rate maneuvers control. I remember Your movie with FW-190 A-5/U-2 - same supreme trick with succes. What can I say - Jengar in FW-190 = One Man Army :D

Jengar harpoon is out. Did not have time to fly it out but went vs him and let me tell you it is WOW for it size and looks I was pleasantly suprised by it. It was late so went just for a test fly and was eaven more suprised great litle bomber/atacker for his tier and BR (T2, BR 3.3)

Great sortie as always, thumbs up. If I can give you a little hint, utilize the takeoff and landing flaps more often Especially in stallclimbs and scissors. Combined with throttle management you'll outmaneuver literally anything you'll face.
axised001 Nope LA-5FN hardcounters this boy although I can't understand why people keeps going head-on against FW. Even my Beaufighter won't come out unscathed against that much firepower. This plane is good but it's nowhere near UFO territory.

Nguyễn Hồng Hải la5fn gets dangerous as soon as it decides to extend or shallow climb at low to med altitude. In a scissors engagement I've never met a lf5 able to outperform a Anton as long as you know what you're doing.
I agree that in a scissors this thing is a beast but usually I got killed by the La-5 teammates after the duel or he drag me around and a Yak got on my six. As a long time Russian/UK fighter, my style usually involves rushing to the enemy, diving into the furball and wrecks shit in the red cloud to provide openings for my teammates so maybe it's just a problem with me.

This thing is amazing when its Aced. When you take off from the airfield at a 10+25% climb in WEP you're already at 1500+2500m in a matter of minutes
Estimated time to that altitude is 3-5 minutes
the only bad thing about this aircraft is that I wish that the Germans put on two 15mm MG 151/15 HVMGs on it for permanet gunpods
its a great plane indeed.
My standard loadout for ammunition is Stealth for head-ons, the enemies get surprised when i do headons with stealth
(ive had a few raging enemies because they thought i was hacking, lol.)

Great video, just a little detail: The correct translation for the FW-190's nickname 'Würger' would not be 'Strangler' because it was named after the bird species 'Shrike' which in German is called Würger. (de.wikipedia.org/wiki/W%C3%BCrger)
fair enough, i like the mythical false translation better though, sounds more menacing then: we named it after a bird ;)
Jengar Turns out I shouldn't have been a smart ass: I did some short reading up and apparently the Würger (the bird species) actually may have been named after the German word for strangling (würgen). So I suppose you have every right to call it so :D
(the other possible origin being 'to retch', because the bird retches up the indigestible remains of its food)

Delicious match, Jengar, well done! A4 tough haven't taken her out for ages still leads my kill board with well above 3k kills.
However, I saw the Wildcat injuring your pilot (orange) in the first pass but it seemed it wouldn't influence your flight characteristics..? What's with the new "wounded pilot mechanics" Gaijin recently implemented? Did or didn't they kick in, I wonder.

One of my fav planes, very nice! Hey I re-applied to the squad (again) sorry did not realize the inactivity kicks in so quickly (have not been on in a few weeks, got super busy at work)...I was thinking it a couple months before it kicks you.

Hehe great match I dont know any other game that has such intense moments. I recommend to give the cannon mustang a try i know u did a review when it was a brick in RB. It became a really pleasent plane after some patches and you can outmaneuver 109s quit well if u have some speed under your belly i think its also slightly faster than the 190's.

I just got this plane and learned a lot on how to play this plane. I'm new to the game and really enjoy playing. Also I got a question, what is energy retention?
Energy retention means how good and how long a plane can hold onto the speed/energy it has build up.
enery either in terms of speed or in terms of height, if you have good horizontal energy retention, that means you can go quite fast in a straight line, because you can hold alot of speed. vertical energy retention means how much speed you can get out of a dive from a given altitude, and how much altitude you can gain from the speed you have.
for instance, the wyvern s4 can go very fast in a straight line, but can't get that much altitude out of that built up speed, meaning it has good horizontal but poor vertical energy retention.
The Fw is not as fast as the US planes, but faster than British, but it has one of the best vertical retention.
@@michabawoek6661 if it gets the dive on any of the planes, it gets dived on it has an advantage. I usually actually prefer fighting a good USA player than even a poor Brit.

@@jengar6258 Yeah... Been at it for a couple of months but it's a really steep learning curve. Disheartening sometimes.
Many time i'm deal with 4-5plane and i alway die. But you can handle it with an amazing tactic.
I also die sometimes, but most important is to keep using your plane to its strenghts, stay calm, and make quick decisions!

I like the A4, but I prefer the D model Fw over the A model Fw.
Very stiff elevator on the lovely dora's atm, not good that.
Jengar the elevator isnt that bad, its not amazing, but still the doras are better than the A models

they're both different planes. The 109 is an energyfighter, the 190 a boom&zoomer. when used in their role, both these planes are awesome.

How do you control the plane when looking backwards at the enemy. Doesn't work on my playstation and laptop either. The reason why I still suck because I see every RUclipsr do this.
Hold 'C' to look at your enemy when you maneuver
Roc Yan doesn't work. I can look but lose control of aircraft
first hold "C" to look at your enemy, then use KEYBOARD to maneuver, like WASD. it is a little difficult but you can change "C" to other key you feel comfortable
you have to bind keys for elevator control,you can't do defensive flying without them
Look at the enemy with c, then take over the looking at him with the mouse and fly the plane with your keyboard. it takes a lot of practice, and you will crash into the ground a lot, but in the end your brain will understand what it needs to do.
Jengar which button on keyboard you press as you escape from this planes and you have a back view ?
There is no one key to press to escape mate ;) i press many keys! To look at your opponent you press c to look behind then take control over the camera with the mouse and fly with your keyboard. Will make you crah a lot in the beginning, but when you master it its a lifesaver :)

Hi, I don't understand how you manage to aim Fw190 in such sharp angles. Whenever I move mouse slightly to the side to adjust aim, Fw makes a spiral instead of pointing toward the mouse.
fly with your keyboard, you can easily compensate for any mousemovement.
Do more p51d !!!! Or f86 f25
