Screw Cloud, half of the people who play this game loves Tifa. They’re literally going to span this one game into 8 years. I blame Marvel for this bad precedence. But to get more Tifa we’d keep buying anyways 😂
The ultimate example of true love is when Tifa stayed with Cloud in Mideel, then pieced him together in the Lifestream. Even knowing the world was ending, she stuck by him throughout his worst, then exhausted herself to find the truth behind the illusion so that he could be found again. No scene from any FF7 media highlights the extent of her love more than those ones.
I think even at the end, Cloud doesnt know that it was Tifa that save him in lifestream right? If i did not remember it wrongly...
@@300GamersStudio I think he does. There's a line during the scene under the Highwind when it's mentioned that they heard each other calling while in the Lifestream.

@@300GamersStudio Additionally, while not officially canon, the player can return to Mideel afterward and talk to the doctor and nurse (they're located up the left hill). The nurse will tell Cloud about the woman who was by his side and mention that he'd better treat her well for all she did.
Yes. That was a powerful and emotional scene. Probably one of the saddest scene in the game. Just imagine that scene getting remade on the PS5. That’s around 85% of the game complete and FFVIIR was around 15% of the original game. Knowing how slow and hard it is to remake FFVII, you’re probably going to see that scene on the PS6. But I’m glad they stopped at Midgard. Aeris’ death and the Mideel scene shouldn’t be allowed on the PS4. And knowing that the remake was very “Pro-Cloti”, they’re going to expand on that scene and gives us extra romantic scenes. As for the “sex scene” SE wants to keep the rating at a T. However, with multiple episodes they might let a M rating slip by the ESRB or a CERO D/Z. By the time the 2nd part of the remake comes out anybody that was 13/15 years would be 17/19 years old. Both new and old fans would be over the age limit for a M rating game, because that’s about how long it’s going to take to remake part 2 of the remake and being an open world game, I doubt the PS5 will be able to capture Mideel part in FFVIIR-2.
I like how she says, "huh" when he says its been five years because to her it has been much more. I'm pretty sure she has no idea he was in neighbelhiem that day.

It was i think 7 years for her for that point of the story but we knows that he was there :) but we must wait for The Lifestream part :)
I still believe shes supposed to have a scar on her chest from that reactor incident but her mentor Zangan got her out in time after Cloud well he basically died😂 or was half dead. Im pretty sure she would know if its been 5 years or longer due to the scar but I bet she was in a coma when she went to Midgar, I bet it was more than 5 years cuz of age gap from those years but they changed the ages n birthdays so that it make sense. Tifa did know he was in nibel she should know cuz he came to rescue her but she doesnt know that he was not a soldier cuz he took off his helmet when she woke up from Seph hurting her. It explains why he got all enraged on Seph cuz he hurt Tifa n then u see the scene where seph hurts Tifa again in remake n he hates that😂
I understand why she believes he wasn't there but at the same time they had that small interaction right before Cloud went to confront Sephiroth in the reactor.
You would think she would remember him in that moment considering their promise and how she wanted to ask about him when Zack and Sephiroth first arrived but trauma brain stepped in and erased that little bit of her memory I guess.
@@trawll8659Why would she remind him of their promise when he’s the one carrying her? That doesn’t make sense. The only logical explanation is that wasn’t Cloud.
These 2 were meant to be, but first they need to deal with their many problems (lost memories, ptsd, a certain insane dude with glamorous hair)

I do like how in the remake they focus on more Cloud and Tifa moments. And even though Aerith has her moments, she seems to back down as the chapters progress. Especially when Aerith tells Tifa in Chapter 12 "Follow your heart."
I think it seems sometime she knows the future and that Tifa and Cloud loves each other ( + Aerith still loves Zack)

I think cause Aerith still loves Zack. She props notices how cloud is acting like Zack (because of that mako experiment Hojo did to them) and Aerith is doing things she use to do with Zack but kind of flips it with cloud
Aerith is there for the short term, she knows it and acts like it. Being a free spirit and experiencing everything to the full. Cloud and Tifa are solid!
after Tifa and Cloud fell into the lifestream she understood Cloud even more and realized Cloud really loves her as well....

Don't know. That is a theory. It does have relevance of it during Advent of Children, when he opens his heart back up.
The thing is that this has turned out different, where the player makes the choice. It could end the same way, with Aerith dying still. They still have more of the story to create. I am guessing there will be a sequel that continues it???
Remember Aerith giving Cloud the flower and telling him lovers would give these to each when they reunited? And when Cloud reunited with Tifa, he gave her the flower!!!!!!!!!!!!! 🥰

Yeah, some people try to make that flower have some sort of significance between Cloud and Aerith but at that point he only knew her as a flower peddler.

@@vanessatawfik2528 exactly, I didn't know much about Zack until I played Crisis Core on PSP but everything just fit into place afterwards.
To say that Cloud and Tifa had an impact on my life would be an understatement, I got into fanfiction and motorcycles because of them and spent my teenage years looking for a girl Tifa, unfortunately I haven't found one yet 😔

For an example, Jessie became much more appealing as a character because the game dived into so much more detail this time around. I'm hoping that part 2 will come out reasonably soon, but not to the point where it will be rushed to meet an unreasonable release date.

@@300GamersStudio True, but there are other things that may change or deviate from the original story line. If they decide to change things then it may take longer. Plus, there is a huge community and fan base to please so I'm sure the hype will cause a lot of stress. They're going to want the game to be the best it can, but yeah 2 years sounds reasonable :)

Their dynamic is so interesting and intriguing. They’re clearly in love with each other and Tifa once said, “words aren’t the only thing that tells people what you’re thinking” and I think that’s how their relationship is like. Sometimes they don’t need words, you can just *feel* it, *see* it. The way they love. It’s different, unique. Special. Subtle. Their love is the type of love you’d go through hell and back and wouldn’t mind getting hurt as long as they had each other. They save each other, protect each other. There’s so many unspoken words between them but they don’t have to say anything bc you _knew_. Anyone knew Tifa and Cloud loved each other. It’s complicated, it’s raw. It’s them. Their love is like home. No matter how lost you are, you’d always find your way back. Feel the warmth engulf you and suddenly you’re not as lonely as you thought you were. It’s like when someone that’s important to you hugs you and everything feels alright. You were safe. And if you fall and stumble, someone was there to catch you and give you a hand, a shoulder to cry on. I don’t know to explain it but there’s just something about Tifa and Cloud relationship that you can’t help but root for them and cheer for their happiness. I just love their dynamic and just them. Tho at times, I do wish they would actually use words to communicate their feelings for each other
Also let’s talk about how strong Tifa is physically and mentally. She been through a lot and sometimes hides her pain away to not burden people. When she cried in Cloud’s arm, you saw the vulnerable girl she tries to hide, who’s also just as traumatized like the rest but is trying her damn best everyday for herself and for the ppl she cares about the most, particularly Cloud (and Cloud really needed that hug too). Tifa is strong but sometimes she isn’t. Her trauma and the way she deals with it isn’t talked about enough for me or at least I haven’t seen it yet. But anyways this got long bye

Dude, I just realized, Cloud could have easily saved himself at shinra HQ if he'd just drop the buster sword and grabbed that beam with both hands. Dude straight up decided he'd rather die with his buster sword than live without it, we got these ships all wrong fellas.

Cloud and Tifa are the absolute best couple in the entire Final Fantasy series. Their romances are similar to Spiderman and Mary jane. Tifa always loves Cloud because he's different than other men who are trying to win over her. Cloud really wants to be with Tifa so that he doesn't have feel alone anymore. No matter how hard Cloud tries to save Tifa bridge accident when they were kids and Tifa's father hates him, she never blamed or hated him for it. It made Tifa happy of how much Cloud was there for her. After the Nibelheim incident, Tifa feels much hatred against Sephiroth and Shinra for her father's death, she began to feel much darker side as the hate makes her lose control and decided to join the eco-terrorist group to take revenge against the Shinra. She realizes that Cloud is the one that makes her feel calm and loved and she won't turn to the dark side when taking down Shinra. Even if she did, then Cloud would convince her to stay true to the light side and think rationally. Whenever she feels lonely, she might feel sad that Cloud not there anymore. When she founds Cloud, she fits the pieces together to fix his mind so she can be with the real Cloud. Tifa feels much safer and comfortable with Cloud since she won't be with anyone but him. No matter where they go, Cloud and Tifa will always be together, now and forever.
I'd like to say that Zidane and Garnet also have that organic spark to them; not just a lackluster romance that was put inti the story jut actually something that we know and experience with them.
It's amazing when games do this and that's why FFVII (and the remake is just *kiss to the chef*) and FFIX (just... amazingggg) are my favorites
I have a feeling we'll get a chance to set those two up together in this remake series.

Playing through FF7R, I have realized one major thing. I've changed. Aerith is the fairy tale I no longer believe obtainable, at least by me. She's the innocent paragon of virtue. Too perfect. Of course I no longer believe in fairy tales romances either. I've grown up and learned what love really is. We really need to stop selling the fairy tale romance stories to our children. It sets them up for many failed relationships. Tifa on the other hand, is a friend and I have come to believe that being friends in a romantic relationship is more important than the fairy tale feelings of infatuation, etc. Love is work. Love is compromise. Love is sacrifice. Love is doing these things unconditionally for them, not yourself. Love is not those feelings that do not last.

@Khyber As an ex Cloti Shipper, I've also changed. I'm no longer believe in Childhood friends turn into lovers trope. Well not for Cloud & Tifa anyway. They shared too much childhood traumas that it'll make their relationship unhealthy.
From the lifestream flashback, we also learnt that Cloud and Tifa were not Childhood sweetheart. Cloud was an outcast in his village. And he got blamed for Mount Nibell incident.
I don't see anything romantic with his relationship with Tifa. It only reminds him of his past failure. We have witnessed this dysfunctional relationship on Advent Children. It's not good for both of them.
But with Aerith, Cloud has a change to start a new chapter. The one that doesn't remind him of the past. Aerith opened up Cloud and made him better. They completing each other. Aerith bubbly personality suits Cloud sullen one. They need other like Sky needs the Earth and vice versa. Cloud = Sky, Aerith = Earth. Very subtle SE, very subtle....🙂🙂🙂

She still loves Zack, even though she doesn’t want to admit that her heart belongs to a fuck boy. Zack was hitting on Cissnei and in the modulated phase during battle, Zack was asking Cissnei out. Zack probably was fucking Cissnei while being with Aerith. Cissnei was a side hoe for Zack, Aerith is his main girl. Something about those bad boys that Aerith likes 😂

It mean he changed to be romantic in someway. What force cloud to give her. Why you don't said the game force cloud to high five with aerith? They had to spell out the flower scene to all the Clerith shippers. Cloud wouldn't have given it to Tifa if he didn't feel some type of way. And we ALL know Cloud's personality.

the reality is that aerith dies and the two end up seeing that they love each other. in advent children they live together and cloud is saddened by the death of aerith. but Tifa at one point tells him that he has to see reality because now they are a family. and when the movie ends she looks at him as if to say I hope you now know what we have to do together.
Story of afvent children come after the remake story right? Nothing happened between cloud and tifa in AC, :( so its possible that they gonna be together or kiss or confess to each other about love, right? -.- gosh, and about cloud's eyes in ffAc the end his eyes turns pure blue that he become clean from mako power right? Somehow i love his eye more with pure blue haha, sorry btw i don't know the full story, im just new fan, i only saw the movie and im watching the scenes from this game, hope you explain more for me, it will be so nice and gonna be so thankful.
He's not just sad over Aerith's death, he's sad from a lot of things. Remember Cloud was in stasis for 5 years and spent the past year thinking he was someone else. It wasn't until right before he fights Sephy that he realizes the past 5 years of his life (a full quarter of his entire lifetime) was a lie, and he had to deal with all of that trauma hitting him at once once the thrill of defeating Sephy was done. He had to deal with not being able to save Tifa or his hometown from Sephy, not being able to help Zack who saved his life, not being able to break free of Jenova's mind control and to top it all off, saving Aerith from dying. It's not all about her. Cloud has other problems that don't just deal with the flower girl.
@@KaboombooNo, the film makes it very clear that cloud has depression for aerith and Zack. For aerith because he fell in love with her and for Zack because he feels he didn't keep his promise to him to fulfill his legacy, tifa in the whole movie suffers because she wants to get closer to cloud and cloud won't let her, the writer himself said so.

So rebirth or part 2 of the remake trilogy has been out for a while and i recently played that, the og, read on the way to a smile, the kids are alright, and know a bit about dirge of cerberus as well as watched the complete version of advent children.
Literally everything starts and ends with tifa for cloud.
We see aerith(s) first in the game due to her role in saving the planet.
Aerith as a character has always been to both give players an idea of a love interest for a version of cloud who thinks hes zack or just a soldier first class with zacks memories.
And give us insight for why she takes an immediate interest in him.
The Cloud and aerith ship is specifically part of the intial narrative, not the plot, for ff7 and only the very first part of the entire game.
The actual underlying plot is that cloud wanted to be near/with tifa, have her notice him.
That is factually what happens and why he tries to join soldier.
If you wanna bring up the date then neither one for tifa or aerith is actually romantic, it functions as a way to get us to question whats wrong with cloud and if either "love interest" should pry any further into who cloud is at the moment.
As for the ring, yes the avalanche members all have rings, but cloud gives tifa a promise ring with his fafnir isignia on it signifying a difference in meaning compared to the others.
In on the way to a smile cloud explicitly states that he wants to be a family with tifa, marlene, and denzel and he says these thing with conviction and it goes into detail about his excitment for that future.
Yes cloud did start to like aerith but it wasnt really him, it was the players who fell for aerith.
When cloud is first introduced he is just an ex-soldier first class making him a blank slate self insert type of character.
But later on, its revealed that he did everything that he did for tifa to notcie him.
And after tifa cant confirm his memories, he loses what little sense of self he had left.
She is such a core part of him that it broke his mental state to know his memories could be someone elses.
However, Its also what allowed him to piece himself back together with her help/presence.
He is able tell her in the lifestream that he did everything for her and that her opinion is the only one that matters to him.
Cloud strife himself chooses tifa of his own accord.
The players, despite all the choices we made building up his soldier persona, dont get a say in that.
Sure you can have negative affection and he still confesses his feelings for her.
Or you can have postive affection and they confess AND sleep with eachother under the highwind.
Positive affection is the more likely canon outcome bc cloud himself would never really be mean to tifa.
Ship what you want, even i like the idea of a clerith ship happening, but i know for a fact that the narrative is the sole reason it exists.
In the plot its tifa, and always has been.
In conclusion, dont mistake the narrative which intentionally tries to trick you, for the plot of ff7.
Only thing after that is that SE is trying to milk the shipping war based off the ending for rebirth so anything is possible, but it will most likely be like the og game in the end so dont get your hopes up.
Oh, and I wouldn't rely on ultimanias too heavily.
A lot of them are personal preference quotes for devs or them straight misremembering the og games story.
And for every thing they state about relationships you csn find another that is the opposite of that.
They are unreliable at best, similar to the pt1 narrative of the OG

Probably something similar to Pokemon XYZ where at the end of the series Serena kisses Ash before parting to the Hoenn Region but it's totally obscure to just Serena and Ash's legs. (That's what I think will happen knowing and hearing how very rabid and crazy some Clerith Shippers are and how their lunacy might break the Devs mentally...as if 20 plus years of this maddening debate isn't mental enough).

Well eventually it worked, since they r together in Advent Children, taking care Marlene and Denzel, like parents to them.
They are not together in advent children, they never form a relationship, and the movie is more about cloud's depression over aerith's death and tifa is frustrated that cloud won't let her get close to him romantically.

I think Tifa and Cloud will end up together because his feelings for Aerith are mostly Zach's. Don't get me wrong, he obviously cares for Aerith but when Aerith warns Cloud to not fall in love with her, it confirmed (to me)can that his emotions and Zach's are tied together. In remake, while dealing some fake memories. Clouds actions were honest he just trying so hard to be cool, but tifa knows what kind of a guy cloud is that never bother her getting closer to him when their alone or in need of saving.

Sure, Aerith and Cloud have their moments in Part 1 but its obvious that it was dominated by Cloud/Tifa. To those who say oh Cloud and Tifa are only really good friends and Cloud doesn't love her but does love Aerith....get out of here. Tifa and Barrett are really good friends....Tifa and Cloud are much more when you see them togetger as you progress in the game. From the flower to having rooms next to each other to how touchy touchy they are when saving each other to the way they look at each other when saving each other and concerned....it screams more than friends level. Of course they wont admit as much right now since Cloud is dealing with tons of memory baggage and Sephiroth while Tifa is shy and giving him space until he is ready but it's coming. I believe they are slow burning this for a huge payoff in Part 2, 3 or later but its coming
Look I like Aerith but while she does she has feelings for Cloud, I believe in her own good way she is pushing them together. These shipping wars will go on forever no matter who gets Cloud in the end but at some point we just have to admit without trying to find faults in Tifa and Aerith what the actual story shows and right now....it looks heavy in the direction of Cloud and Tifa. Now this could all change in Part 2 but I dont think they would plant all of these Cloti moments (flower, panning in on their touchy touch hands saving moments, the way they gaze at each other during those, Cloud looking at Tifa during the scene with Lesile "Reunion" etc) and not build upon it...and drop all of that to go heavy on Aerith next. I think this is big time for Cloti shippers....then again what do I know lol

To all the DDCultis here, just a reminder:
1. When Cloud's Mom and Tifa (Cloud thought she was a goner) were killed by Sephiroth, Cloud, grief stricken, went full suicidal mode to kill a Demi-god. Knowing that his Mom and Tifa were dead, he lost all motivations and did not survive Hojo's experiment. Then he succumb to Mako poisoing.
2. When Zack died (CC), Cloud lost himself. He became hollow.
3. When Aerith died, Cloud gave a powerful speech to his party members to kill Sephiroth, then went snowboarding. Why didn't he went suicidal mode when Seph killed Aerith? Why didn't he suffered Mako poisoning or lost himself?
4. When Tifa did not validate Cloud's existence (Coz "only Tifa's opinion matters") when Sephiroth showed them what really happened to Nibelheim, Cloud lost himself again. Became Sephiroth's puppet and succumb to Mako poisoning.
Seriously? Cloud reacted worse when Zack died than when Aerith.
Then there's ACC. When Sephiroth asked Cloud what he cherish the most, first he remembered Aerith, Zack, then his FAMILY (save the best for last). People thought this is a Clerith moment. Cloud already lost Aerith and Zack! And Aerith was killed by Sephiroth in front of Cloud. When a killer asked you to take something from you, won't you think about those whom he killed first? Then you'll think about the family that he haven't taken yet and you would want to protect. Please understand the PLOT first.
There are different kind of love. Cloud loves Zack as his first BFF and mentor, guide. Cloud loves Aerith as his BFF too and his guide (and mother, lol). And then there's Tifa. You argue that Tifa is just a childhood friend. You do realize that you don't f*** your childhood friend and live with her if you are just "friends". Then proceed on being parents to Marlene and Denzel. And if any of you did not get the CANON high affection scene, then what is the FEELINGS that Cloud and Tifa share? Feelings of Friendship? Bruh. That's your PLOT?
Sorry for ranting here. I just want to enjoy Cloti videos then there are cultist everywhere.

Cloud thought he was Zack almost the entire game, Zack was in love with Aerith which is why maybe he thought he felt something for her, but even during his craziness he still remembered Tifa, cause from the beginning everything he did was fir her, to impress her cause he loved her. And it was that love that made him snap out of it. Aerith was fake , and Tifa was always he's reality.
