Larry Blake played 'Steve Martin.' Lane Bradford played Capt. Chris White. Both longtime excellent character actors. The Adventures of Superman often had an excellent supporting cast and villains, much like Batman, a decade later.
Steve Martin was a little kid, possibly watching this episode at home, delighted that a character on TV shared his name.
