    Erbarme dich, mein Gott,
    um meiner Zähren willen!
    Schaue hier, Herz und Auge
    weint vor dir bitterlich.
    Erbarme dich, mein Gott

Always loved Rillings Bach! He's not afraid to bring emotion to the forefront. After all it is a passion!

The violin playing of RAHEL RILLING is beautiful to cry and reminiscent of the violin playing of the great OTTO BÜCHNER.

Are there still musicians who believe what they are performing when they perform J. S. Bach's sacred music? And an audience that believes what it hears?
A lost world, today more blatant than ever. Bach does not have to experience this unspeakable misery, which is, however, biblically predicted; he is with his Lord and does not come into judgment because he had accepted God's grace in Christ. Certainly unlike the vast majority of his "modern" admirers today with their feelings of well-being when listening to music ...
