In July 2022, we set off from the very top of Alaska on our bicycles, with the aim of spending the next few years cycling all the way down to the southern tip of Argentina - the entire length of the Americas. We are definitely not in any rush, and often opt to take the scenic, more remote routes where possible. Neither of us are cycle touring or bikepacking experts, but we are figuring all of that stuff out as we go. If you would like to follow along, please consider subscribing!

Victoria is a tough cookie to push through a fever like that. And Greg must be Superman, never seemed to be sick or even look too tired in all those months of riding

It’s definitely excellent, but I think you’ve forgotten all the amazing shots and viewpoints we’ve had so far too! Maybe a different one was the maps with the camera angle on following the route cut into the story. That was certainly different and v cool 😎

My wife 18:46 and I have over 15,000 miles of fully loaded touring on our Brooks saddles. Mine was great from the start, hers took her a little bit to break in. Stick with them! They are the best saddles, period!

Truly inspiring. It makes me feel like I need to get out there and have an adventure and enjoy being young. Unfortunately right now I don't have anyone who I can do that with, but hopefully one day I will. I just worry that I won't be young forever.
Thanks Nooticus! I was in a similar position and originally started this adventure on my own. Then I met Victoria 2 weeks into that trip! 6 months later we were in Alaska. My advice if you want to do something like this would be not to wait for the perfect moment or person to do it with, just go for it and the rest will fall into place. You meet a lot of people on adventures like these!

I occasionally ride my bike where you turned at Tropicana onto Spencer but usually I am farther south below the airport connecting to Saint Rose bikeway when in Las Vegas. I would love to do a ride to the south rim from there but I doubt I ever will have enough strength to pull it off. More power to you.
