What makes the pancake throw scene even funnier is the scene that precedes it.
Emperor gives a nice speech praising the young hot-blooded men from aristocratic families for wanting to go to war to gain achievements.
Zisheng a young hot-blooded male from an aristocratic family wants to lead these young men and the Emperor rejects his request with a pancake throw. 😂😂😂😂😂😂

And and the scene after cuz zisheng picks up the pancake and eats it lol 😝

I rewatched this drama over and over, and one of the reason is because of the emperor. I watch many chinese ancient drama, and he is the most outgoing emperor I ever seen. 😂

OMG... i'm keep rewinding the Emperor throw the pancake to LBY...the Emperor is so funny...he don't want LBY go to lead a troop. He just want LBY stay...the most funny scene...
and LBY is so used to the emperor's antics, he doesn't even flinch
First half of this clip was hilarious same as a musical - one moment the love birds were having a somewhat private conversation the next those guards appeared out of nowhere pity no one broke out into song. 🤣
Second half was just as funny, the emperor wanting LBY to stay, get married and have kids while the other 2 marquis know what the emperor is thinking/can't offend him but still siding with LBY wanting to go out to fight a battle.

Zhao Lu Xi best young actress!!! It was expected for many of us who literally loved the "Love like the Galaxy" Series and the Couple of the stars Wu Lei and Zhao Lu Xi 💚💜!!! Two months have passed since this "Epic" masterpiece Series ended! I watch it, I watch it again and the suspense, excitement and admiration, remains the same and unchanged! Such a Series will hardly exist again soon!!! What should I first admire, the talented couple of protagonists with the insurmountable and unrepeatable chemistry between them? The cast of excellent other actors? The highly professional amazing Director with his excellent work? The musical masterpiece investment of the entire Series? I honestly don't know what to admire first!!! Well done to everyone!!! And believe me "a little" is !!! I personally want to hope that if there is a "beautiful feeling" between Wu Lei and Zhao Lu Xi, they will be able to overcome all the obstacles that the "weeds" put in their way! Fate will decide what will happen in the Future for this Beautiful, Talented and harmoniously matched Couple! I wish God and Fate will "unite" them in a happy Life Forever !!! 💚💜💚💜💚💜
I miss them too! Rewatching it again. Picking up more this time and I find this time it's a little different too as I go through the episodes knowing his true identity from the start. Gives me a different perspective. I would love to see them in another drama or perhaps season 3? ❤❤❤Can't get enough of this masterpiece!

@@dreamer4659 It is my understanding that the 56 episodes we watched were season 1 and season 2 combined. They did a recapture of previous scenes at the beginning of the season 2 episode. However aired them consecutively. The directors are reediting the 10 episodes that weren't included due to time constraints and rebroadcasting after the Chinese New Year. At least that's what I have read and hope it is true. If all I have read is true then, I believe that would mean any additional to the 56 soon to possibly be 66 episodes filmed would become season 3.
At any rate, I would LOVE to have more seasons whatever the season number is provided that most of the main casting remains the same. It was so superbly done. I am not ready for it to be over.
@@lisacorbaley6541 oh wow I didn’t realise they are releasing the 10 episodes. I heard that these 10 episodes were cut out of season 2, so it’s not really a continuation (season 3), but rather just deleted scenes. I could be wrong though, but the ending did seem rushed so I’m not surprised if a lot of scenes were cut out to shorten the length of the whole show.

Good morning from Greece!!! It's been a month and a half since the "Epic" Love like the Galaxy "Epic" Series ended, so ingloriously, abruptly and "Medium" and I still can't get over it!!! I've already rewatched it three times and every time I watch the episodes it's like the first time!!! I always have the same anxiety!!! I've been watching Series for so many years and something like this has never happened to me before!!! Awesome!!! I miss him so much and so do our very much in love and tormented Couple, Lee Bu Yi and Shao Sang !!! Wu Lei and Zhao Lu Xi who had taken on the Roles were amazing, both in the acting part and as a Couple!!! As I've written before, there was immediacy in their performances as they had tremendous Chemistry!!! Both played with "body" and "soul" at the same time!!! I wish there was one more episode that would show us their brilliant Wedding, which most of us expected to see in "The End" !!! Hardly and maybe after a while, to see such a Series again, a true "Masterpiece", a true "Work of Art" !!! I sincerely hope and wish that we will see this perfectly matched Couple again as soon as possible in another, new Series!!! With the "worship" surrounding them by the majority of the TV Audience, their talent and the Chemistry between them, the success of their new Series will definitely be Guaranteed!!! We wait and hope with anxiety because as they say "Hope Always Dies Last!!!
