    I saw Makers Gonna Make, I believe it was, and Tanner mentioned using “Contact paper” on your mat and place your felt or fabric on the contact paper. That way the strings or felt pieces would stick to that instead of your mat! I haven’t tried it yet, but it sounds like it would work. By the way, your videos are very informative! Thanks

    You are simply the goddess of cutting! I have a plan to cut out felt for an ornament. Got my rotary cutter recently but couldn't remember what mat to use. Knew you would know. Thanks again for your time and enthusiasm to make us better crafters. You are a treat . . . I whipped out a felt christmas card today that turned out so cute. Not sure if it would have been so easy had I not listened to this video. Thank you again.

Is this correct. No Terial manic on corduroy? Thank you for this. Hope to learn my machine as much as you show for the three way connection feature. Amazing machine. I have 325. Looking forward to HQS in November!! Hope to see you!

      Hello! The ScanNCut reads embroidery formats and converts to a cut file, but does not convert a cut file to an embroidery file. You could use software for that, or if you have the Stellaire, Luminaire or PR1055x use my design center inside the machine. - Barbara

    • @janellvincent8046
      @janellvincent8046 9 месяцев назад

      You would need a program called Embrilliance Stitch Artist 2 to convert your line design to a .pes or any other embroidery stitching machine format.

Do I need to scan in a reverse image or scan it right side up. I am new to your channel so if you have addressed this in previous videos, direct me to the correct video.

    I think I am in trouble. I have had my Rotary blade for a few months and have not had much luck with it and now I think I know why. I didn't realize I was supposed to register it and I through out the box it came in with the sheet of the directions which I realize now that I missed a very important procedure. Is there anyway I can get my rotary blade registered or what ever needs to be done to have it work right? I am so mad at myself. Please help me if you can.

    Great video! Is this scanNCut a 325 in this video? Is that the current, up to date model? Reason I ask is I am looking for a scanNcut for fabric applique and would also like to do heat transfer for labels and tshirts. Also would like to make vinyl transfers to put on glass and mirrors. Would the 325 be the one to get or is it overkill? Does it come with all the mats and accessories that I would need to start? I don't want the disney one. I just want it to do lots. Thanks for all your help along the way.

      If you don’t want the Disney one, then the 325 is great for all you mentioned. The 330 is the Disney model.

    I'd like to have a couple of questions answered. First one is when you cut the corduroy fabric, did you place the nap side up or face down? Also, if cutting out letters with wonder under applied , does the design have to be mirror imaged like HTV? Thank you for all the great demonstrations.

    • @janellvincent8046
      @janellvincent8046 9 месяцев назад

      Yes, if fabric side is down and wonder under is on top, your design needs to be flipped (mirror imaged).

    I have a dedicated felt mat. I cut a lot of embroidery machine felt ornaments at Christmas and the mat becomes too “hairy” for me to want to cut any other fabric on the mat. Occasionally I will soak and rub the mat clean.

    I only buy steam a seam light because it has a sticky side and a paper side. Can that work. I use it because it does away with the ironing of appliqué pieces. Have you tried it?

    • @janellvincent8046
      @janellvincent8046 9 месяцев назад

      That is want she was using in this demo. Fabric side down and paper side up. You would need to reverse (flip) the design inside the SNC for cutting so that it would be in the original design when peeling off the paper and ironing it down.

    Question: I would like to apply under wonder under my floral fabric and cut out individual flowers. In order to do what I want to do, the paper side of the under wonder would need to be placed on the mat so I could scan the flowers that I want to cut. How would I do this? What mat? What blade?

    • @janellvincent8046
      @janellvincent8046 9 месяцев назад +1

      I do lots of appliqué using wonder under. You need to still put the fabric side down with the wonder under on top. But you will need to flip your design in the SNC so that the design will be reversed for cutting and come out the way you originally intended.

    • @kristinkenswil2809
      @kristinkenswil2809 8 месяцев назад

      According to Brother, if your fabric is interfaced you can use the standard mat. ruclips.net/video/8upcoxWnhY0/видео.htmlsi=sldp-Tw-0XHwJK6v&t=263
