Hello, this is errrbodyelse, but in my other account i would just like to say this is such a fun film to watch in utah. I also remember writting a comment in your theater reaction to this film and i would just like to say i myself am not mormon but my family memebers are, And I did grow up in the religon. I also took ny family memebers who are mormon to this and they hated it so much lol. But still had such an impact on me since i still do believe in god it was just insane. Still a really clever movie. Also, if you have seen anora a movie review on it would be great because I haven't seen it yet.
Hey friend! Yes you were the one I was talking about in this vid and I misunderstood that it was your family that was Mormon! I’m curious as to why they hated the film. I really felt they were careful as to not offend anyone’s religious beliefs.
Also, we haven’t seen Anora yet. It looks soooo good. Can’t wait to see it!
@blondetouragereviews hi im back in my other account, and no worries, I wasn't very clear on what my religion was. My mom thought the directors had some agenda against the mormon church or lds church. She also thought there was going to be more action in the film and not a slow burn. Even though I told her it was an A24 movie. I think the film just made her really uncomfortable. I didn't think they had an agenda or anything. I just thought it was a clever representation of what atheist think and what people who believe in god think.
I didn’t see the trailer so this was an absolute surprise for me. This was definitely one of the best films I have seen recently!

Slow burn fan myself. And hugh grant is always strong. I’m going to see this one. Very interesting. And I also love chamber pieces like Mass, dark song, the vigil and even shiva baby to some extent.

Finally could watch this review bc I saw the movie today. I wanted to go in totally blind. It really resonated with me as well. And the performances were outstanding all around. I loved how emotional and deep it was. Really made you think and wonder who is right or are we all kidding ourselves 🤔🙏🏼
