Great movie, very tense and thought provoking. The girls did a really nice job of staying in their lanes. One starts strong, and the other finishes strong. Very well done!
The "Mr Reeeed" line made me laugh- I could tell she was raised in the church. She delivered it with this genuine, adorably cheesy energy that reminded me of some sister missionaries I'd met once.
The women playing the missionaries were so good. I want to see them in more movies! And that Hugh Grant guy is good too, I see a good future for him. LOL
I absolutely cannot wait to see this! Especially the line that it was strange that her father hasn’t reached out to her. I wonder what he is meaning by that.
I served my Mormon mission in Germany/Austria and they actually do pronounce Moroni with “eee” instead of “eye” in German so I felt that in my nostalgia bone.
Thoroughly enjoyed watching this movie especially how well the characters played off each other and all the little details. Definitely gonna rewatch it a number of times
ok but fr, lying about pie is in and of itself a true evil. Like what if they were really looking forward to eating that pie, how would they feel when you tell them there never was any pie?
I am watching cus it’s A24 and cuz Sophie Thatcher is in it. I hope Hugh Grant was easy to work with for this movie with him apparently being hard to work with
This is a great review. For the Heretic. That is funny. That Hugh Grant played with the lines. The director had to ask Chloe. To current him. Sophie and Chloe are good actress's. Can't wait to see this movie. I think Reed was living in his own world. Another version of the matrix. Hope this movie has a chance at the award shows.
I think Mr. Reed did mishear her. It ties into their eventual salvation; as thoroughly meticulous as he is, he makes mistakes. Confusing an obscure disease he's never heard of with something so widely known to be horrendous as Lou Gehrig's Disease, I think he felt some genuine remorse for a moment there. By the time it comes up again he's figured out how to make it bend to his narrative, but I believe that was an honest mistake he made.
He might not like the aspect of fame that involves interviewing and promoting a film, but he sure had great fun playing that role. Its evident in his performance. You can love what you do and hate what comes with it. Its like how people can love their job but hate the staff meetings.

Just watched it. Fantastic movie, one of best movies of the year. Chloe East is absolutely fantastic in it.
Both girls are great in the movie.

Hugh Grant shows his immense acting chops in this movie, I even saw it twice 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👌🏽💯
Good for you, I think I will do the same !!!
Mr. Reed:
"With great power, comes great responsibility."
Sister Paxton: "Spider-Man!"🕷
😂😂😂
As a Mormon - they got the Sister missionaries spot on. Great cast.
At first I was mad because I thought they were making fun of the church, but it was so much more than that! I am going to go see it again😂
They really did!
The two girls have an LDS background.

It was very good. So thought provoking.
I think he was wanting her to say something that she had seen or felt him so he could use it to further control and manipulate her beliefs.
Hugh Grant has been a great for decades, but I didn't witness his true genius until The Gentlemen.... he is fkin SO ENTERTAINING in that!
I served my Mormon mission in Germany/Austria and they actually do pronounce Moroni with “eee” instead of “eye” in German so I felt that in my nostalgia bone.
They're both so beautiful.....
Sophie Thatcher looks amazing

I'll be rewatching this

I mean, there was pie… you probably wouldn’t want to eat it though
I agree with every point mr. reed makes in this movie, but I don't agree with the psychotic way he goes about proving those points 🤣
So are you saying you are a different sort of psycho? What psychotic way would you choose?
It all comes down to the eternal divide between religion and belief.
This was great. Hugh Grant needs to explore more horror. I think his charisma brings a lot to the genre.

Saw it yesterday. Grab seating type , made your skip the breathes .

Sophie Thatcher gives me Juliette Lewis vibes ❤
Sophie is really
beautiful and she is also a cool musician.
SOPHIE IS SO BEAUTIFUL!
Chloe is more my cup of tea, Mr. Reeeeeed.
Their both pretty peng tbf
Get your minds out of the gutter and be impressed with the acting not just simping to onlyfans style looks.
@mindfulclarity169 you wouldn't say no though 😉
@@mindfulclarity169 They have an Onlyfans?
Chloe is so pretty. Both girls are. I guess Sophie wore contacts for the role.
So excited!!!!!

“Malicious affliction” what a phrase 😂
SOPHIE IS A GREAT ACTRESS!
I need to see this once more.
Chloe East's voice makes her sound like the same religious simpleton in this interview it hard to separate her and the character.
She was definitely not a simpleton as a character.
Now I'm too creeped out to burn the blueberry pie candle I own ... !!
YES SOPHIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I loved this movie so much!
Omg they're so good looking 😅
LOVE.
Being a member of lds I love to watch this... And I have idea what is

I thought she did "Mr. Reeeeed" in that way because of Liar Liar since she had mentioned Spider-Man before. I figured she was a movie buff lol
Hugh grant does not want to be there
That's Hugh Grant. He's always seemed uncomfortable in interviews
The British hate bullshit and small talk
He is awesome🎉
Sophie thatcher looks awkward in every interview

Movie was amazing
I'm gonna say this again and again... Shopie should play Jill Valentine!
Chloe East is a cutie
GO SOPHIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
like men
Creepy... I mean, it's interesting, but creepy ! 😅
Hugh really doesn't want to be there
WOW that Chloe in the movie was a 7/10 but in this video she’s a 9 😍
Sophie kinda looks like Emily Rata in that makeup
A load of rubbish couldn't stop laughing
Mr. Reed kinda mocking her because her dead father
