@@micahwos3213 Yes I put the Radiator on the front and i just put the two fans it came with on the top, but if you want you could always just take out 2 of the front fans and replace them with the fans that the Hi100 came with because the fans that the Hi100 came with have a 2400 max RPM while the fans that the case came with have a 2200 max RPM.
Man I wish I'd seen this video before I built my PC in this, I was freaking out over whether the fans could be powered from the lighting node core for hours before I finally bought a Commander Pro. But I'm glad to know that someone else who's seen this video will be spared the headache

T Stinzy The corsair 465x comes with The Lightning Node core. With the Node core and pro u can only control the rgb not the fan. With the Commander Pro u can control fan speed and rgb. Neither of them come with LL120. You just have to plug the fan cables into one of the 6 fan connectors, the rgb cable into the led connectors, then u connect the lightning node core to the commander probwuth led control cable (the cables comes with the commande pro) last u connect bith of them to sata and the commandr pro via usb cable to your mobo
Orkun so I have to buy the commander pro separately? Could you feasibly get by without using it, meaning the fans would be at a constant rate whenever the pc is on? Seems like buying the pro would be the best option, though a little confusing
@@Tstinzy if your motherboard has enough sysfan headers for however many case fans you have, you could control the fan curves through the BIOS, but that requires you going into the bios every time you want to tweak the fan curves, unless your motherboard has specialized software for it. With the commander pro, you can control the fan curves through the iCue software without messing with the BIOS. So you could get by without the pro, but the pro makes it a lot easier. Plus you can also plug in some RGB strips into it and control those through it, too.

@@KiloWhiskey716 basically impossible, the ram gets in the way and the motherboard usually sits too high to get it sit in normally, the other option would be to drill ur own holes :/

You think the 1 LL120s at top as exhaust is better or as intake? I've just bought this and the 360mm new h150i pro xt and 3 extra ll120s. Goina use the 3 it came with for aio and the 3 extra fans two on top and one rear exhaust. But unsure I see everyone building with top two as intake, they look better like this but shouldn't these really be exhuast too.

To run the 465x with the three LL120 in the front and a h100i aio with those two ML120s in the front as well for push/pull airflow on the rad, then a three pack of LL120s for top and rear exhaust would you need another fan controller or would it depend on how many pwm connections you motherboard has, i have a asus z390e because if im counting right you have the node that comes with the 465x thats 6 lighting connection, the fan hub/ node that has 2 lighting connections and 6 pwm connections that comes with the three pack then 2-3 pwm connections on mobo. Wow i rambled im sorry if anyone got this far thanks would i need to get the corsair pro commander to run that all ?
How do you mean? I used the black covers from the standard horizontal mounts to hide the open sides. You break them open to fit the GPU. Does that answer your question?

No, it will make zero difference as there are no fans blowing directly on the GPU. I have infact read that a gpu riser causing some issues, didnt do any research as i dont have the option tonplace my gpu like that.
i believe he just replace a few screws with longer screws. Basically mounting the radiator to the standing fans. Which in my opinion. Will leave you and i with 2 additional fans from the H100i se platinum for the top and rear of the case which is dope. I wont know until i have the case, 7:15 - 7:25 looks to me as if he just replaced the screws which h100i radiator is smaller using only 2 fans so i may mount mine closer to top.. Unless bottom looks better

You may have clearance issues with the 360mm radiator if you put it at the front, apart from that this case has good airflow so everything else should be good.

Hi Mehkaela, Yes you are Kind of forced to use the commander pro, because your motherboard doesnt have enough connetions. The case comes with the fan hub which has the perfect amount of connections for your 6 Fans. For your Powersupply: I wouldnt pick one with 750 Watts bc the estimated Wattage only is 370 Watts. If you plan to Upgrade in the Future, its fine. Apart from that, solid build. Have fun with it!

@@diiie-a-lotti4281 Well actually I did consider it. But the 3 fans in the front are connected to the aio pump. And the rest is connected to a 4pin -wired 3splitter cable into a single fan connector. Works like a charm :) Also using a Z390 Asus Strix motherboard. Now OC'd at 5.1 max temp 78C with Prime95 -1hour run. :) Best PC I've ever had :)

Looks like he only attached 2/4 to the fan and the other 2/4 to the case. I'm going to try this as I found the h100i platinum is too thick for the top

only if you have ryzen with crosshair 6 or 7 mobo their ram slots are lower so they can fit 240mm aio 99% intel boards won't fit

You can put the Asus Prime z390-A, it fits so well because it's white and has rgb

Works like a charm :) Also using a Z390 Asus Strix motherboard. Now OC'd at 5.1 max temp 78C with Prime95 -1hour run. :) Best PC I've ever had :)
Bytemare thanks for the response. This is my first time building a gaming PC. (Leaving the console world) and I’m a bit nervous on where everything connects and running out of slots.
Doing the 3 front fans,
2-120mm fans up top and
1-120mm on the back.
H100i rgb platinum white AIO water cooler
