Does all 8 fans sync up properly when making LED changes?
Instead of connecting the usb 2.0 from the lighting core to the usb hub, could you have connected it to the commander pro then enabling you to control all 8 fans in sync? Or would iCue still recognize the other 2 fans on the lighting core?

I’m going to do the exact same setup, however you mentioned 8 rgb fans in the beginning. Since H100I does not support QL series rgb control, and one lightning core can only plug in 6 rgb fans. What happened to the final two fan rgb?

What USB hub do use?
Would I be able to plug iCue compatible products (such as PSU, CPU cooler) into the connections on the hub, with the hub then being connected to one usb slot on the motherboard?

Can I use different fans on one commander say 4 sp fans for case and 2 ml from the cooler? I have the Corsair 4000x case which comes with node and the capellix 100 which comes with commander? Any help appreciated

Please help me out. I want to buy the obsidian 500d rgb it includes a commander pro and 3 ll120 fans. I want to buy 3 extra QL fans is it possible for the fans to communicate with each other so that the rgbs look nice?
Confusing... So, if I have the H100i, I can't attach QL 120's to this and just run them through the commander pro / hub included in the QL pack? Running a 6 QL 120 setup. 3 in the front, two on the top for the H100i and 1 for the rear for added exhaust. Thanks

Is there a special connector i need for the icue 465 ? ( and whats it called? it has 3 fans but my motherboard B550M only comes with 2 places for fans besides the CPU cooler fan plug in (and that is utilized for the big CPU Fan/cooler).

Sorry, noob question, but do the RGB fan connectors go into the iCue hub (the small one) or the Commander pro (the big one) or does it matter? Does daisy chaining iCue hub to the Commander pro via the LED input on the Commander pro mean you can add more lights?

So my h150i pro has 3 fan connections. Now do I plug my ll120s in this connection, or the commander pro. Also, If I use the rgb hub, and 1 of the LEDs from the commander pro, since I have 4 rgb strips, can I daisy chain all of these from the commander pro?
i have a commander pro but the radiator fans are 4 pin so i connect them to the commander fans port as they will not fit in the led port. I want to be able to control the fans via temp , but am not able to . any help would be great

I ordered Alpenföhn Wing Boost 3 ARGB Fans (3 pack) and a Corsair H115i RGB Platinum. Since the H115i has its own RGB headers, can I use a 1 to 4 RGB splitter to Controll the RGB on the Alpenföhn Fans and the H115i Fans (ML140s) ? Like thats daisy chained then isn't it ? Because I don't have 3 pin 5v connections on my Z270 MSI gaming pro carbon motherboard. So I would use the normal 4 pin stuff for the PWM controll but use splitters to controll my ML140s + the alpenföhns over the AIO RGB header ?

if you dont need the commander pro what cable do you need to connect the rgb hub to the motherboard with??my rgb hub didnt come with other cables
The RGB Hubs that came with my fans dont have that connector to go into the Commander Pro :( It only has a Sata plug and USB header plug.
I have setup my h100i with the commando core. I want to install 2 LL fans 1 on the back and one on the top of the nxzt case. I read you shouldn’t have different fans modes on same hub so how do I connect the LL up?

I have 9 rgb corsair mag lev 120s. 6 of them are rgb and 3 aren't. I want to daisy chain the non rgb fans through the commander core onto the commander pro, don't know if that's possible. Don't know if I need the node pro?

would it work if i purchased the corsair crystal 680x case which comes with a node pro and 3 LL fans, and then purchased a separate commander pro and 5 QL fans ? also looking at using the H115i water cooler and i will not be using RGB strips
I have 6 HD's, I didn't understand how should I be using the lightning node core and the commander pro. I plug all the 6 to the commander pro, then I still need to plug 6 rgb connectors, all of those 6 are going to the node core then?

I've purchased a bunch of QL and split them between 2 Lightning Node Core. Then connected the 2 USB headers to the USB headers in the Commander Pro. I don't understand why I'm unable to control them from the Commander Pro in iCUE. The lights only work when I click the Lightning Node Cores individually and light up 3 and 5 fans respectively.
My lightning Node Core do not have any other connectors besides the USB 2.0 headers. Thanks!

I got the H100i Platinum SE Edition and 1 QL120 fan, I'll have to connect the QL fan to my motherboard and the H100i has its own connections, Right? Hope I'm not missing something.

Hey, love the video. Just wondering if you can give me some advice. I am planning on buying 3x 140mm QL fans and 1x 120 QL with a few corsair light strips. I'll be using the commander pro and the node core. Would I need to plug in both USB to my motherboard or can I plug in the node to the commander pro?
Hi there! Can you please tell will I be able to control speed of my fans (AF140mm fans, red ones) with Commander Pro via iCUE software? I only need to now about speed. On website for AF fans it says they don't have RPM ability, but I have Scythe fan controller and I'm able to turn off and turn on my fans with that fan controller. So that's my question. Will I be able to control speed of my fans with Commander Pro? Thank you!
How do you daisy chain 2 nodes together I have 8 ll120 in my Corsair crystal 680 and the technician can’t figure out how to light all 8 fans, only the rear exhaust fan and AIO RGB light up

So I want to get the commander pro but don't care much for rgb/led and just want to use it for fans, so when I connect the fans and sata does the usb cable that's attached to it still need to be plugged in ????? Is that for data?

Hi ! I need help, i put my 3 LL120 to thé commander pro et rgb hub it works. And i put the USB of my h115i on the commander pro. When i put it on the motherboard it didn’t work. Is it correctly ?
Then to finish, i put my led strips ( x4) on the second port LED of my commander pro. And when i try it in iclue only one is lighting even when i put 4*450mm. I tried all nothing work.
Only when i put LL120 x 6 Chanel 2 i’ve 2 led strips. I don’t understand Why...

@BeginnersTech I'm building a new computer this week. I have an H100i AIO and have installed QL fans on it to match the other 4 QL fans in my case. (haven't finished yet so nothing has been turned on yet)....... Did I understand you correctly in that the H100i won't recognize the QL fans?
I have a question I have 8 LL120 fan in Lian li case. I also have command pro I have all 8 fans plugged in even on the rgb hub adopter all 8. All 8 fans are running only 6 fans doesn’t have rgb lights I don’t know why.. mind you I have the Corsair hi100 SE comes with 2 fans which run through the Mobo. The other 6 are singles. But only 6 has rgb the other 2 doesn’t . Help?
so this doesnt use any of the RGB headers on you MB? Just curious as i got a case that came with fans but they were all 5v ARGB and my board only supports 12v RGB and im looking for a good setup that will work with my board. The board is an ASUS Maximus XI Formula, any help will be appreciated.

Hi thanks for this video - I didn't quite follow the bit about the h100i though sadly. The fans on that are A-RGB right? does the commander pro and lighting node core support A-RGB fans OR RGB fans?

Hello mate, I've installed the commander pro with two strips of LEDs and a 140mm RGB fan. Since installing it, my Dell screen flickers at the top and I keep getting sound in my headphones like its disconnecting and reconnecting. Do you have any suggestions? Cheers!
Can you help mate, my pc is on its way with a h115i cooler. With 2 stock NZXT 120/140 fans. I want to change both of these stock fans for RGB Corsair fans. What will I need to connect them so that I control them and the fans on the cooler all in one? Just the commander pro? Cheers mate
Does the RGB hub work by itself or does it require the Commander to work? I have one, it's plugged into the power with 2 front fans plugged in but no lights.
At around 2:30 you got me confused. So if I would to buy the 150i and replace the fans with the QL120 Can utilize the fan cables that are on the AIO for power, but have to connect the rgb cables to the LED hub?
And just out of curiosity can I connect two Commanders pro. Connect one commander pro the the USB of the other. And would the software support it?

I got the RGB Hub with my 3 fans. I thought I could control the fans with the RGB hub. I didn't know I needed the commander pro to be able to control both. It looks like the commander pro goes for around $75. Is there another way to get it? Does it come with a bundle or anything?

Quick question though, I have 3 Corsair LL120RGB 120mm Fans and a Cooler Master MasterLiquid ML240L RGB Liquid CPU Cooler, the CPU cooler comes with the 2 fans on it, will this be combatable with the Commander Pro? Do I need the Corsair RGB HUB? And does my cases smart hub thing support the RGB fans? (case is the Lian Li PC-011 Dynamic)

hey man. Thanks for the video. I have the 3 pack with the node pro. I have the hub connected to the a SATA connector but my PSU only has three (HDD + SSD and now the HUB) i obviously need to connect the Node Pro so i can control the RGB so the question is, is it safe to connect the Node Pro to a molex connector (as i have a ton of those) using a connector/adapter? I just purchased QL120 3 pack fans. The rgb hub that comes with it now has a sata power cable and a usb cable. I have a H115i that connects to the commander pro via usb along with an HX1200i that also connects to the commander pro via USB. My Lighting Node Core connects to the motherboard via USB.
I still don't understand lol. If I have a white h100i platinum se aio RGB. DO I NEED any of these extra accessories ??
