I just got this case and it came with the Corsair commander pro and Corsair rgb fan hub instead of the cheap integrated one... anyone know why? I’m not complaining tho lol
Well, it depends on what PSU you are using (how many extra cables), how many hard drives you are using and how important a clean build is to you. With a case like this I would think that you would want it to look good, so really a modular PSU would be the way to go if you can.

Just ordered this and it’ll be here in about 24hrs, right now i just have an NZXT H510 and i have no RGB because my mobo doesn’t support it so this will be nice for the lighting and i have 2, 140mm coursair fans ready to go, plus a really fast 120mm cougar but it has the orange padded corners so im going to just add my two other fans as exhaust one up top and one in the back im all airflow even my cheap DEEPCOOL gammax 400 keeps my oc cpu under 65 degrees at full load but im ready for a change and building a second pc, thanks for the video I appreciate it!
Yeah, I won’t win any beauty contest with it, that’s for sure. As many of these that I build and tear down, you get burned out on cable management details.
I can't decide what to get this or the 500dSE or the Carbide 678c, I like this because it looks nice with the glass and air flow at the front over the carbide 678c which has a panel on front, but I'm worried about cable management at the back of the unit. My main issue is I have a very small space to place my PC and in terms of size this would be the smallest by an inch or two but I don't want that to be a problem.
Why cutting? The front dust filter of the 275r Airflow is the filter you are searching for. I bought the case today. My motherboard only has 2 CPU and System Fan. So i am able to connect the RGB but the the fans. So do i have to buy a fan splitter? My PSU doesnt have fan pin connecter as well
Fantastic, in-depth review! I just ordered this case along with a Corsair H100i. I'm hoping to mount the rad on top with a QL 120 in the rear to run 6 fans, but it may be wishful thinking.
Hi Eli , Did the Corsair H100i mount in the top OK as I have ordered the same parts as you and was hoping to mount the rad in the same location in the top of the case.From this vid it does look like the top rad mounts are offset away from the motherboard so fingers crossed. This is the only review to point this out👍

@@dipit247 Hi Wayne, it's a little later than expected as I had to wait for my 2080ti to arrive, but nonetheless here we are. I was able to mount the rad on top, but only with low profile RAM. I had Vengeance RGB but wasn't able to use it as it blocked the rad fans, but low profile RAM worked just fine. Hope it works out for you.
@Anthony Doran something like Ballistix Sport LT would be low-profile. That's what I ended up having to use. I tried to use the Vengeance RGB Pro sticks, but they are literally almost double the height of the Ballistix, blocking the rad fans. I was bummed about not having the RGB ram, but figured sacrificing that to be able to have visible RGB at the front of the case was worth it, but it's totally up to you.
I got this case but cant fit my SATA SSD into the SSD slots. It fits in another case I have but then 465X's are just a little too thin. I tried bending the holder slightly to fit it but it doesn't seem to. Anyone else have this problem?
I just ordered this Case and I don't have an exhaust fan as it only comes with 3 pre-installed intake fans. Will I still be able to use my PC smoothly without overheating / damaging the parts? I have a GTX 1060 6GB and a Ryzen 5 1600. What do you think? Also, great review :)!

@@jim_katsak With that cable you can plug in 2 PWM cables in one maimboard plug. So it is only needed if you dont have enough PWM plugs on your mainboard
what programm were you using when showing the fan speed? and is it possible to regulate the fan speed while they are connected to that controller on the back of the motherboard? Or is it only for the lighting?
The iCue software and the controller behind the motherboard are for lighting control. You can monitor the fan speed, but not control it. You will need to use another software application to control fan speed.
@@sc7766 You should be able to control the speed through the motherboard software. Usually there is some sort of utility that will allow fan speed control. Or you should be able to control it through the BIOS.
I'm currently using this case. As a present, I received a 3 pack of the corsair ll120 rgb fans. I put one in the back for exhaust. My question is for the two I have left. Could I mount them at the top as exhaust fans or would that cause problems with dust? I'm not overclocking so they would be purely for aesthetics. Thanks for any suggestions.

I have the exact same question. Did you ever figure out what the best solution is? Right now I only have the back exhaust mounted. My other two are just sitting in the box.
@@JW-_ Hey. I talked with a friend, and he was recommending to use exhaust in the back, and also exhaust in the top. In that way there would be cool air from the 3 front fans, and plenty of exhaust to get the hot air out from both top and back. So i think i will go with that setup my self in the future when i get the case :-)

Heat rises. Top fans should almost always be exhaust fans. You also dont want air flow fighting for direction. So the intakes in the front should be "helped" by a pull combination with the back/top fans

@@clashroyals1747 I contacted Corsair and the Vengeance RGB PRO RAM will not fit. Only the LPX RAM will fit with the radiator mounted on the roof of the case.

BaziJo I bought it and installed everything works really well except some issues with the Icue software. It doesn’t matter too much but it’s very annoying that I can’t control the RGB fans light and ect

Got this case a year ago, it's shit. The only good part about it is the fans which literally cost the same as the case if you buy the 3 pack, you're paying for the fans

They need to be plugged into regular fan connectors on the motherboard unless you have a separate PWM fan controller.

Yes, they are intake by default. If you wanted to, you can flip the around and push air out of the front.

Sure you can, as long as you have space in the lighting node pro which has 6 or maybe more headers for controlling the fans rgb

Hi, I've build my new pc in that case. The 3 fans included were sufficient for my Ryzen 7 3700x. So, at least to start with it's good enough :-)

Yeah it is important. Just buy a set of Y-cables if your mainboard has not enough PWM plugs and you will be good!

JW I think that would work fine. You will always get some dust in the case, even with the front filter in place.

Did you have to plug fans into motherboard fan socket? Bit rubbish it's only a RGB controller
It is only an RGB controller but you can get a commander pro to have control over fan speeds.
