You are introducing the 465x not the commander pro. In my opinion, if you want to show the lighting effect. You should only connect to Corsair core, not the commander pro. That’s the way you introduce the original product. Then your customer will know what they can do with Corsair core and decide any further accessories they need for more expansion.
This is the only video that I was able to find where someone water cooled in this case till this month. 8/2020 Edit: Other reviewers have already done with CPU by just putting CPU AIO in it. However I wanted to find someone who has done it with CPU & GPU with an custom setup.

If you are going to liquid cool your motherboard, make sure the RAM sockets aren't at the top. I ran into problem with my RGB Corsair RAM interfering with the placement of the radiator with this case. We are going to rig it to work but it won't be four or more screws.
I have this case. You can't use the included rgb hub with the commander pro you have to buy the rgb hub from corsair separately which let's you connect the commando pro to the hub which then let's you control the fan speeds and rgb...
The big elephant in the room is, would you pick this over the Lian Li 011 Dynamic, they are the same price, I think I would go with 011, although I do like Ll120 fans.
KitGuruTech I can sort of see what you mean, but you can’t get this case without the fans so it’s still the same price. I loved the review, but it is in the same price bracket. BTW, thanks for your reply, I rarely get them from a channel and really appreciate it.
sorry to drag an old review up. but you suggested the small cut out for the F_audio from the case would work, is the cable long enough , and enough room ontop of the psu to get it there ?
I know this sounds like a bit of a nooby question but where do you put the storage if you have to take out the harddrive cage? This question pertains to this case.
Theres an ssd cage on the back or you could put an m.2 on the motherboard. He was referring to a HDD, which is larger and would be installed in front of the power supply
Why have corsair started making shorter cases? My C70 fits a H100i and fans in the top, why doesn't Corsairs new stuff? Did the case design team forget they have a department that makes AIO coolers, and now custom kits? It would only need what, to be 1-2cm taller?
I got this case a month ago,ill give it a 9,only thing is that if your gonna use the hard drive bays cable management space is a pita. I have a modular power supply which helps too but im running 6 Corsair LL fans and commander pro and corsair rgb hub and custom cable wire extenders which made it a nightmare.
Do you need the Commander Pro upgrade to control the PWM function of the fans? EDIT: Just saw it in the graph you showed. Thanks for the info and comprehensive review. This info should be on Corsair's website but it's just a flashy sales pitch without telling you anything about each item they sell.
That sagging GPU triggered me the moment you showed it and I could never put up with a look like that in a case. It would just drive me nuts. Surely they could make a small white riser with a magnetic base and a couple of screws to extend it that could be placed under the card to lift it? Or just do their job properly and strengthen that part of the case correctly.
Can you connect a different corsair fan to the included lightning node pro? The HD120 would be a nice rgb upgrade to my cpu air cooler as it's more powerful than the ll120.
Hi im hoping to vertical mount a 3080ti gamerock gpu. Do i need a vertical bracket or do the vertical slots on the back of the case support it ? I know ill need a pci cable . Would it be to close to the glass and cause overheating ?;
Hate that the software for corsair and asrocks motherboard both kinda try to connect and control ram rgb..... have to have both apps up for corsair to recognize the ram.

Hey, not sure if you still need help but I have this case and I used the ROG B450-f motherboard and I’m using 5 fans and a radiator in my build. I believe the board supports 4 or 5 but the radiator came with its own fan power so you can plug two in there. Hope that helps!

So what do I think of the fans, glass and RGB (first impressions): ...not impressed. The plastic stays, square glass corners and screws all clash with each-other and the diagonal hex. For over £100 I would go with the Corsair 5000X, the 4000D, the Lian Li O11 dynamic, or the Phanteks Eclipse P500A. The latter is by far the best case in the £120 to £150 range - EVER. Thanks mate. I'm looking to buy my son a gaming pc and to begin with, I'be purchased a 4k 144 LG ultra Gear monitor along with a K95 keyboard and mouse. We've never built a pc before but I like the idea of going down the Corsair route, seeing as we've started that way. Is it realistic for a novice like me to build a pc, and if so, would you recommend this model then? Also, how much do you think it would cost me for all components and is all that I need included in that list you had in this video? Many thanks
kyriac05 kyriac05 sorry for the late reply if you have a monitor, this case and the keyboard you clearly are going down a very high end build to take advantage of 4K at 144hz so it totally depends on how much you want to pay £500 or £3000 or even more !! The sky is the limit!!
That's an interesting observation - have you used iCUE recently or did a past bad experience put you off? it would be interesting to hear which software works well for you
I echo this. I use it daily with my mouse (Sabre) and it will regularly stop seeing it after standby. I need to unplug / replug for it to be seen, and then it's 50/50 on if it will crash. It's quite unreliable. I've liked Corsair stuff for years, but I'm starting to look at alternatives now. The final annoyance was not being able to buy replacement feet for my mouse. They're such poor quality they've worn down within a year. The solution from Corsair is to buy a new mouse :\ I'll end up trying to make my own from some M3, but honestly, this shouldn't even be an issue.
