Sven who makes these will be reading the comments (HI SVEN!) so let him know what you think about the stands and what kind of trays and holders you'd like to see.
I NEED THESE! They are perfect for my current setup. I have Behringer Model D, K-2, and MS-1. This will allow me to fully elevate the K-2, Mount the Model D below that, and have the MS-1 on the desk, and ALSO have my Arturia Keystep in front of the MS-1. Pricing is fair & very affordable! Simply perfect timing; thank you for the video Bo!!! Cheers
Well... Unfortunately you must have drove so much traffic to his website that he's out of stock of the VD105 main riser and VD 100 base module. I just went and bought a "3DSynth 3-Tier Synth Stand" from eBay for $50. It will fit my K-2 & Model D, with my MS-1 in front on the desk and one open space for an additional synth to come... If he (Sven) would have had them in stock I was ready to buy them today. I ONLY went to eBay because he was out of the ones that are essential to making my setup ergonomic and functional. 😣 Sorry Sven. 🤷♂️
SVEN.... This is perfect for a guitarist pedal board concept. Similar problem with certain pedals getting buried or too far away on the floor.... Second... I use a Arturia Keystep mounted to my microphone stand (poorly). An attachment that can be used to clamp onto a stand would be amazing.
Yes something for FX pedals would be awesome! Really hard to find something adapted, usually I go for tablet stands but something dedicated could be useful
There had been some discussions about this. The main issue that prevented me to follow this idea at this point is, that pedals often have their in- and outputs on the side. Putting them side-by-side would require a significant gap between each device which is against the basic space-saving concept of the Varidock system.
@@svenbauer6970 I can see that, most guitar players, and I'd assume keys players who use pedals DO use incredibly short flat 1/4s for those situations. Maybe I'll mess with your system and send you some feedback.
Really nice! Finally some practical and useful solution! Much better than simply putting all the hardware stuff on table, on laptop or tablet stands, books, boxes, etc.
So impressed I have already ordered multiple units. I can’t wait to try them out - I’ve lost count of the number of ways I have tried to arrange ad-hoc and semi-permanent hardware setups by balancing units on all kinds of small boxes and supports.
This is EXACTLY the kind of thing I've been looking for! I especially love that the prices seem very reasonable. I've been looking on Amazon at all kinds of tiered desktop risers, and its just absurd how they want $80 or more for just a bit of wood.
Sven. If you are reading this, make trays that join the 0-Coast, 0-Ctrl, and Strega to be a single two or three tier unit. A great many people will rejoice. 😆
That's a really clever solution! The base is really nicely priced, and even with all three pieces, it's not overly too expensive as a general stand. Designing the top plate as an separate piece for the common form factors borders on genius! Suggestion for next version of top plate: One with adjustable-width side walls.
It would be great if they'd include measurements in all their stands. As of yet they don't have stands for any Elektron machines so I'd like to know if a particular stand would work. Measurements are only included in the Universal and the VD130 stand.
That looks like a really nice solution. Something to keep in mind when I'm eventually in a position to set my gear up properly (I need to move so that may take a while) - Good luck with this venture Sven
Thanks Bo and Sven I am going to be moving before the end of the year a lot of these stands will work great with my gear right now I have things all over the place. I am looking forward to order some stuff from Sven in the future.
glad to hear you think so! Its always difficult to know wether a stand will be good enough to warrant a video. After all, how different can they be? But this is a product I hope succeeds.
@@BoBeats once in a while we get smart products made by smart people. And they’re quite reasonably priced too. I just ordered a base and stand for my Subharmonicon, this is exactly what I was looking for :)
I'm glad the prices aren't ridiculously expensive (I was thinking, yes well I can get a laptop stand for €20 euros to raise stuff) - these are a lot more well thought out than using other stands so I think it's cool! Good job Sven
This is totally awesome! I'm pretty sure that it will sell like crazy. I've been needing this in the past. Then I sold all my gear, because I needed the money for other stuff. Now I'm buying gear again and was actually thinking of getting a Jaspers stand. But I might be needing this at some point :)
I was very much expecting these to be much more expensive, granted as a US resident, the shipping may add quite a bit. But I'm excited to see where these go-hopefully a square 252 mm x 252 mm Universal Tray for Circuit and LaunchPad! (If there's one in the works, I'd imagine that its 'lower lip' would be appropriately sized/cutout for the cables as I think that there would be a few people who would want to have the instruments face away for audiences to see Artists' live performances)
I know this problem very well. I've been working on it myself. Only I'm not an engineer. I've made mine out of scrap wood, weird wire things from good will, purple duck tape, and a few strategically placed screws. And maybe even a zip tie.
This is very very cool and smart, i hope to see a mount for the digitakt/tone boxes. Should be easy to make as well because they have vesa mount holes on their backs
These are great I think. As some of us are often swapping out pieces of gear, having a modular stand is such a nice concept versus having completely custom stands that are then wasted if/when we sell something on, and another thing to sell on as well. I definitely like the idea of these for sure!
Hi Bo! Wow, I bought my synths, improvised everything, and for now, i spent everything! Lol, but this will be next for sure, I need something like this for the Waldorf modules and drum machines! Thanks so much for sharing, once the funds are back I will start properly organing my expensive mess!
Very cool, looks solid. I'll check it out. I repurposed an expandable shoe rack into a synth stand, and my stands are very DIY with some woodwork but this is well designed and the thin profile is very nice
Great work Sven, lovely looking stands. There’s nothing quite like this in the market beyond some 3D printed stands and a handful of other bulkier bespoke stands. Love that this system is expandable and easily customized with individual mounts. Great timing with the exponential growth in the desktop synth market last few years. Good luck to you. I hope to buy some stands from when there’s support for Elektron devices. 😎👍 And thanks Bo for highlighting these!
Nice to see a lot has been sold out to show the demand and value. Sven, it would be amazing to have one to fit an octatrack :) I Will be looking forward to the next batch
I'm not surprised that a lot of the modules are sold out, such a great design concept, very well built and surprisingly very affordable, that Volca one is on my list for sure. Nice one Bo for the video or I would never have heard of these.
Thanks for making this video. This is a much better solution than the cheap plastic monitor risers Ive been using. The angle feature makes it a no brainer. I hope they ship to Canada. LOL!
Oooooh, I'm liking the look of these, doubly so because it solves the exact problem I've been wondering about with the idea of squeezing various Elektron boxes into a relatively small area... And not having to build a completely custom shelf setup for it. Metal is handy, doesn't require a ton of trimming, and comes powdercoated black which is great.
I love it! A tray for effects pedals would be sooooooo useful. Wide enough that you could have multiple pedals. It wouldn't need mounts because you could just velcro.
Hei! This is exactly what I need, and have been looking for. Typically with my luck, the Base is sold out... Really hope more will be available - soon! So sturdy & good looking stand, I have not seen before. Please, make more 🙏
The lack of innovative Synth stands is a big enough issue that I've thought up a few designs myself, and I'm not even particularly handy with that kind of thing. So, it's good to see this. I hope he can keep up with demand!
Really nice concept! If modules come out for Microfreak, Bass Station II and TR8S I’ll be sure to get them. Or perhaps some “generic” type plates which would allow for the above to be used, without the side screw plates.
HI Sven! This is a fantastic idea and I think it will be very well received. I can imagine you will be getting requests for trays etc. for all sorts of different gear. Thanks to Bo for reviewing it too.
Pro studio is not enough, gotta rebuild my home studio, Bo you need synth time out therapy, what a wonderful place to be man........love ya, ......ordering this guys stuff for sure
It's all great, and I'm sure it's a solid quality stand, but to me, the most annoying problem with all these stands, no matter how great they are is that they take up desk space. Which is why I put all my desktop synths and mixing boards on computer monitor arms at different heights so they could be swung out of the way or brought closer in but still leave plenty of desk space for your MIDI controller, laptop, or whatever else you are using. I did it in a sort of makeshift way at first but now I have made metal brackets with VESA screw holes which allow a synth to be quickly lifted out of its holding bracket on a VESA monitor holder stand if necessary. I also cut metal pipes to be able to join 2, 3 or more monitor holder poles, so that you could have a really tall stand for a number of synths. I did put my earlier makeshift efforts in a video on my channel if anyone is interested (Semi-modular Alternatives for Eurorack video), however, I'm still to make an updated video of the work I've expanded recently.
Countless lulz from me ,i just finished my handcrafted table setup with selfmade (not adjustable) stands and positioned everything for maxed out convienience and accessability ,greetings from germany ,great product btw
@Sven I would love to be able to have a smaller keyboard overhanging a larger keyboard, eg. Arturia Microfreak overhanging a Korg Minilogue XD. Ive been looking at laptop stands as a way of doing that perhaps. Also I think none of the trays are wide enough to hold an MPC Live II ?
lol I was literally just now looking at these cheap ikea tablet stands that we all love :P This is way over the top for my use case, but the timing on that video was spot on :D Great product and decent price. I suppose there are holes you can use for bolting these directly to a desk? That was my first thought. Second one was the feeling that an alternative foot unit with front extending further for extra support would be ideal for stacking these under keyboards. Just my 3p. Love the concept!
These look really good. I've been looking for a way to make the desktop modules more accessible, which means more useable. Great idea with the locking tray.
Very nice! No direct support for my primary synth at the moment (Arturia MiniBrute 2S), which is large enough that I'd worry about it on a generic tray. I'll keep watching. (Does remind me to finish the stand/tilt base I've designed for it, holding it up by the supports meant to attach a RackBrute case.)
Looks great but I couldn’t figure out which tray to get for a Hydrasynth desktop module on the website. I don’t see it listed and they don’t provide dimensions. Too confusing.
There are two types of trays available: custom-made ones which perfectly adapt to the synths mentioned in the desciption (like Volca, Boutique, Rocket etc...) and universal trays for less specified applications. Right now there is only one universal size available as we just started but more will follow.
Definitely need a clip to fasten your potato peeler. Very cool design, and I love how easily it's adjustable - as opposed to a rigid 3D printed stand. Is there an arturia range, or plans for one? Imagine a drumbrute, minibrute 2/2s & beatstep pro combo. With the ease of cross patching - especially if within proximity of a modular rig - you could conceivably warp space-time.
I actually stumbled across Sven's site a couple weeks ago while looking for a solution to a different problem. They're definitely "on my list" as I build up my little dawless "creation station."
This is good stuff! Glad you made the video....one of most important factors is affordability ( & these are!...( Im often still shocked, due to a lack of competition I guess, how much synth stands seller try & get away with charging massive amount for a few basic bits of folded metal/plastic). Wish these guys every success!
This product solves a problem I have in my setup. Thanks a lot for posting this video. Sven, food for thought...in addition to the custom plates/adaptors for synths maybe two or three that are adjustable width wise?
HI SVEN! Always stands for 1 or 2 hardwares, just a couple for 3 (including the flat bottom part). I have a laptop stand with which I keep a Drumbrute Impact (on the desktop), an 0-Coast (at the middle) and on top my Analog4 (MKI). It is very nice and I can adjust the height BUT i can't incline it. This is what i'm looking for. This same double stand *middle part and top part, adjustable height + Possibility of Inclinations*
Real neat components! been making a stand over my Moog Subsequent 37CV. One idea for Swen to make "hook-like" hanging the back, anchoring to the curved Moog back. So can have shelve(s) over the classic Moog panel.
Well while I definitely think Sven is on to something here, for me (and you briefly touch on this towards the end) the real problem in these kind of stacked affairs is how you manage & route all the black spaghetti coming out the back. I would urge Sven, or someone with the right skill set, to make synth specific wiring looms, and cable routing clips for this system. I'd be throwing cash at him if he solves that problem!
oh Bo.... I told you that you would end up creating a home studio once you had your pro studio!!!! hehe, Would love to visit your pro studio one day for a jam!!! I mainly work with DSI products.
Could really use something like this. Ideally a bit bigger though, and capable of making more complex structures, like legos for synthesizer stands. I ended up building my main synth stand out of old Construx toys, which works except it's not very sturdy since it's soft plastic.
Neat product. I have my own ad-hoc stand at home that is actually 2 Ikea shoe racks! I bought one initially for an SH-09 and a 101, just saw it in Ikea and thought it would be perfect, never used it as a shoe rack. Unfortunately I think they've discontinued it as I looked for another and couldn't find it instore or online. Did eventually track down the same thing on Amazon, last one I've found though. Doesn't angle, but cost me @ £15! Can get 3 101 sized synths in the same footprint. Thinking of maybe modding it so I can extend it to 4, just need to engineer something to give me a gap between the 2 racks.
This looks interesting, however very specific. There was mention of a Volca stand in there. Currently I use a folding laptop stand with similar angling functionality with the boys of folding up to carry. Will Sven's stands come to Canada? Do you have to buy a bunch of individual pieces? It wasn't really clear in the video.
Amazing product, indeed this solves a problem and I will def get one for my Deluge (if it fits), my Mod Dwarf and maybe one for my laptop. And it even looks cool. Hope this will be a hit for you Sven (can't think of a more SVedisch name:) You rule!

Is it possible to put a command easel 208C instead of the Moog ? Does it fit ?
Great work, thank you 🙏🏻
The command easel is a bit too large for this purpose, sorry...
This is exactly what I’ve needed.
I’ll be ordering them. Absolutely superb..
This is awesome. Have been looking for solutions for my moogerfoogers, Sirins, MPC Live, etc.
Neat. Will have to do a deeper dive into his stuff.
This is the stand I have been looking for! I have fx pedals and semi mod synths of different sizes in my set up. I will be getting several stands.
thanks for intrdoducing me to these-very cool, like your presenting style-very clear and unobtrusive...
Fantastic..... Lots of uses......
I ended up building my main synth stand out of old Construx toys, which works except it's not very sturdy since it's soft plastic.
those look rather nice,. . thanks for posting the video.
That's a very handy piece of kit. Looks cool too.
Pricing is much better than I expected after seeing the video. Hopefully we can get these in Canada through our distributors.
Great stands. I need some.
These stands look great! Bo or Sven, any recommendations on which one to use for a Novation Circuit? (original, not the new Tracks)
First google result for exact brand I was looking for. Good job sir! Tell em yer selling one today.
Beautiful idea! Is this available to US?
It is!
We offer free shipping for orders starting from 150 Euro or premium shipping (currently recommended) for a little extra fee.
Amazing product, indeed this solves a problem and I will def get one for my Deluge (if it fits), my Mod Dwarf and maybe one for my laptop. And it even looks cool. Hope this will be a hit for you Sven (can't think of a more SVedisch name:)
You rule!
Looks pretty good - interesting
Very cool! Ingenuity at its finest!
