Ive gone down a Norah Jones rabbit hole and enjoyed the ride.

Norah Jones.....and Sara Bareilles ...and Lady Gaga are about the only three True Talents that I can think of over the past 7 years that I think can really really sing, and/or really really write. Take the m out of the studio, like Gaga-- give her just a microphone and a piano....and listen. shes doing her own song, really well... same with Bareilles... Take a good listen to "Don't know why" by Norah Jones--- it sends chills up my song, the voice so pure.... haven't heard clarity in a voice That Clear since Karen Carpenter.
So...there out there, just a helluva a lot harder to find.

the first time i ever listened to norah jones my mom had bought it accidentally for my birthday (i had asked for a avril lavigne CD) i was sorta sad but i gave it try and i really loved this song. its what got me started on listening to this genre
That's how I got into Heather Dale's music. I asked for a Heather Alexander album and my mom got a bit confused and got me Dale instead. Of course, now Heather Dale is my favorite singer, so that turned out well. : )

I guess when a music video is to be thought of there is two entirely different kinds of approach one can take. a narrative one, that could fit with the song. Or something abstract and fun, seen just as a visual representation of whatever could come to ones' mind when they are listening to it. I think she chooses to take the second one. And manages to succeed quite well.
