Great video. I love working with my daughter! I do my best to teach her everything I can about being self reliant!
You can basically do anything you put your mind too, along with effort! Thanks! Also a good neighbor is priceless!
Katriel your a real trooper! Did a great job running the tractor and camera!
Thanks for watching!
Your daughter is a fast learner . You are lucky that you and your daughter can communicate so well.
Welcome to our channel, Allan. I’m definitely blessed with a great family.
Thanks for your kind words. I hope you check out our other videos.
Loved the video, I had to stand by the wood heater to watch, it made me so cold. LOL. It did warm my heart watching you and your daughter working together. It brought back sweet memories of my late daughter and I working together. Keep making sweet memories they will last forever.
Sorry about your daughter.
We are really enjoying our time together now.
Always nice to get the youngun out to help. Nice to help out the neighbors I'm sure they appreciate it. Great video.
thanks John.
Thanks Katriel!! Hope you have warmed up!Tim, I enjoy your videos, I've learned some things and it's great seeing you guys.
Mighty Moe Excavating likes Johnny Blade! Thumbs up for being out there with no cab. Hopefully Curtis cab is watching and sends u a hard cab and heater. I would highly recommend wearing ear protection and a exhaust stack. Been doing this for a while save your ears and you’re LUNGS! Ty to your daughter for being part of the Show
Great job Katriel. I am about two hours south of you all and luckily we have not had a measurable snow fall yet, but are having the extremely cold temps. Keep up the great videos!
Good job Katriel. For the first time in several years, we could have used you and Tim with Johnny and the blade here. The state has not plowed our road yet.
We're jealous!
Nice job Tim and Katriel. Nice of you all to clear the neighbors driveways also. It would be nice to have that cab for the winter time. : )
She is a very fast learner reminds me a little bit of myself. Great video Tim keep them coming
You got more snow than we did. I think you made your neighbors happy.
this was last week sometime.
Great stuff you all !! Thank you !!! I pray Christy is doing better!!! You guys be safe and God bless you richly !!!!!!! Eddy
It was nice to have a white Christmas in Indiana again, it's been a while. Wish we got more snow but less cold. Stay warm guys!
Yep, white Christmas for sure.
I remember when I was young my father told me to take the tractor and put the blade on it and plow off our driveway. after a few minutes the tires slid and I did a 180 on our drive way. It was so fun I started doing donuts. About 5 minutes later my father came out and said " Now that you packed all the snow on the driveway to go get the snow shovel and shovel the snow off. To this day I still feel it was sooo worth it! :)
Nice operation once you get it all adjusted & aditudanly. I use my rear blade for my drive. Thanks for the sacrifices you make as photographer for TTWT
Great job Katriel. Nice neighbors go a long ways to friendship.
I really love Katriels beanie hat 🙂 Lime green is my favourite color.
I hope u didnt loose any of your fingers Katriel 😉
Here where i live in Northern Norway we sometimes get it as cold as -35 degree Celcius or -31 degree Fahrenheit.
Have a nice day both of you 😊
First of all I want to thank Katriel for her sacrifice of being in the bitter cold to make this video our enjoyment. I thought she did an excellent job for her first time plowing. Tim I have the Carhart coveralls they are pretty warm. Maybe you both should a face mask or something to protect you faces in the bitter cold. Thanks for taking the time to film and edit this video and sharing it with us. You can be my neighbor anytime. LOL Yall are definitely good stewards helping your neighbors like you do. God Bless
Love these type of videos.. tim its -2 degrees here in PA today ,, so i left my JD in the Garage,, with the heater blowing underneath of it to try and keep it warm ,,, and boy did she do a fantastic job pushing the snow,,,,
Whatever she tries, she does pretty well.
Another good video Tim. Been following you for awhile now. One thing that I’d like to mention that I do with my 1025r and my grandparents did with their successful family business for 66 years strong way before now where there’s thousands of landscaping/Snowplowing companies out that he started when he got back home from WW2 was... He put in most of the lawns in the town people don’t even realize. He taught me to always to back blade, snow away from the garage/house and push piles out off to the side in the front of lawn lifting plow not to tear it up. No one wants piles of snow up around right in front of their houses. Just a friendly suggestion. When the snow melts, if basements have cracks? The plowed snow melting will go right into causing their basement to leak bad. Not a good technique could be why the one neighbor doesn’t want you to plow hers??
Nah, she loves doing it herself...after seeing the video, she said that she was in her garage working on her snow blower when we were out, and wishes I would have plowed it this time. Oh well.
Glad you are continuing to watch!
Great job Katriel, I see your dads seat time going down. Tim I was up at Renoylds yesterday and saw the new 60 inch front blade, it was a beast and it was mounted on the quick attach on the loader. Compared to my 42 inch anyway. Happy plowing.
Hmm...new Johnny headed your way?
I'm closer than further. Who knows!!!
Very refreshing video Tim, That JD is a work horse for sure. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching, Mike. Welcome to our channel!
I love all the videos and content! Used your tips to convince the finance committee that we needed a Johnny! Just took delivery of a 1023E and have about 2 hours in the seat. Starting to learn the machine and get some serious work done. Love the videos and can’t wait to move snow this winter here in Michigan with Johnny!!!
Congratulations!
Tim that front mounted blade is the stuff. Katriel, you did great, especially when you scraped close to that car. I bet Dad didn't even draw up. Your a chip off the old block. Y'all take care and God bless.
No, I wasn't concerned. She was watching. That is all that mattered.
I second that she is just like her dad ! :-)
Not the first to say that. I think she has the best of mom's traits and the best of mine. Avoiding the worst of either of us!
Well it's official! You've had more snow than me this year. I'm anxiously awaiting the opportunity to try out the Edge Tamers I purchased after watching your video on them.
That is the best part of edge tamers. Not huge expense...so you don't feel so bad if you don't need them
Man that plow looks sweet on there! Probably pushes like a beast!
Great video Tim and well done to Katriel for helping
Thanks for watching!
Very good job Tim and Katriel ,have worm day in your house .
I just came across you channel this morning. What wonderful time to be spent! Love it, love the neighborly effort from you and the dude snow blowing the walks, one heck of a way to start my day! Great video Tim...now get her a cup of hot chocolate....with marshmallows
Welcome to our channel! We’ve got lots of videos with similar ‘flavor’. I hope you check them out!
Got almost 20” where I am in Connecticut. A bit higher elevation so it was bitter cold to boot. The 54” blower and the heated Curtis cab handled it very well. The front of my house is currently a construction zone between my new garage and mud room being built so I had some extra snow to clear Sunday with a temp, (without wind chill) of -9f. With a hot shot in the fuel and no block heater, tractor lit right up, gave her 15 minutes to warm up and cleared my 300’ plus driveway nice and cozy even with the temps below zero. Initially thought maybe the cab was overkill, but I’m sure glad I got it now. Brrrrrrr
Great job! Those wings work great! Tuffen up Katriel! Your an Indiana Girl!
Nice job. You are great neighbors.
Easy to say from a distance. :-)
The cab may have a leak, but you also have the frost free windows.
Yep.
Tractor Time with Tim, spray wd-40 on your plow and skid shoes so snow doesn’t stick to it and rolls off better
I've been working out the snow issue recently as well. I have concrete, asphalt and then gravel, about 1200ft total. I messed around a bit with the bucket and edge savers, they work and will be handy for moving piles. I also messed around a bit with the box scraper on the asphalt hill. It works great scraping compacted snow. However I found the best solution to be my 72" woods rear blade with and without skid shoes. I can push and pull but also found that removing the tilt pin allows it to follow uneven surfaces.
Looks fun! I could actually see how cold it was by her facial expressions.
Thank you for your sacrifice Katriel LOL Job well done Tim, fun job despite the cold I'm sure.
Nice vid and machine you've got there. They are lucky to have you as a neighbor. All the best.
Thanks for watching. Welcome to our channel!
I got to say I'm a little jealous right now here I am in the mountains in Northwest North Carolina in the single digits looking out the window at the snow plow blade I bought 3 years ago for the 4100 and I haven't got to use it on one bit of snow yet cuz the snow keeps going to the coast
There’s nothing like playing in the snow w/the 1025r!
Hey Tim
Just wanted to say Thank you for your recommendation on the edge tammers, W,O,W, had 6" of snow here this morning, used to blow took about 1.25 hour's, this morning 25 minutes, that includes uncovering the tractor, and putting on 3 3" edge tammers, piece of cake, thanks again, be well be safe okay later o and God bless
Rob here South central Pennsylvania State
Wow. That is great feedback!
Good job Katriel! Tim, you must be very proud of her! Thumbs up for helping the neighbors. Just finished clearing the driveway. We only got 12'' of snow (Québec). But so cold (-4°F). I like your soft cab!
My cab works pretty well most of the time!
I give her props. This is my first year plowing as well but im in a truck always sweating lol
Great video. The "plow" attachment there is truly the ticket. I have a JD Sabre garden tractor with a snow plow attachment and it does the job. I have a new tractor this year and don't have the plow attachment for it but I got a set of "Edge Tamers" to raise the bucket so I don't catch edges and such in my driveway. But it also leaves about 1/2" of snow behind too that gets compacted. Nice job and you may make me consider the expense for the plow or just get out my little "tractor" and get what's left. Thanks for the video.
PS........ While you call it "white grossness" and I could not agree more. I call it white mud for all the same reasons you pointed out. It sticks to everything, you track it in the house on your shoes and it's truly NO FUN. Love the video.
We used to have a Sabre lawn mower. Katriel mastering it in 2nd Grade: ruclips.net/video/sYwPhqrZE_8/видео.html
Did mine this morning 4 above with my Kioti without a cab, I have a snow edge on my bucket works great.
Cold!
Awfully nice of you guys to take care of the neighbors. Great job Katriel!
When I was younger dad would use the John Deere 212 garden tractor with the snowblower and I had to use the snow shovel 🤔. Must have been that character building thing haha!
If it's any solice guys, it's -1*F with a wind chill of -29*F here in NY!
E R I K now yall are gettin what we get in South Dakota. They dont put out wind advisories unless its blownin 60+. Thats been a bad storm thou stay warm and be safe if ya do have to get out. We're havin a heat wave hit this weekend, in the 30s 🍻
Great video! A small little tractor like that must be great for plowing snow. We have a big tractor and it can’t quite get around cars and garage doors like you can. But it is grate for getting the job done fast and the two tractors would probably work well together.
Yes, each tractor has its advantages. This one is great for our size neighborhood driveways.
One problem I don't have here in Florida lol awesome that you help out the neighbors you would be a great neighbor to have next door 👍🏻👍🏻
Sometimes good to have a weird neighbor like me, and sometimes NOT SO GOOD :-)
I got a snow blade for my cub cadet 107 late spring/early summer of this year. I plan on using it this next winter. I'd like to also find a hard or soft snow cab for and put a small 12 volt heater in it.
What a nice Dad you are teaching K how to do what you do!
Yep. And she now enjoys it!
Great job Katriel looked like a lot of fun even with the cold and Tim i would think every one would be asking for you to do there driveways ! LOL have a great weekend take care god bless ! Curt :-)
Some folks really enjoy it (or else they are too stubborn, and think they would 'owe me' or something. Who knows?!
Great job kiddo can you show my daughters how to do that lol! Thanks for sharing guys and braving the elements 👍
She just did :-)
You are a good neighbor Tim - Those are few and far between anymore.
Thanks Dave!
I would recommend getting some snow goggles. They are anti-fog and UV protected. Paired with a ski mask it makes for a warm face. Been down to -17 with windshield -28 last week and it worked great. And I would love to have you as a neighbor.
Googles would be great (and necessary) if you have a blower. We really don't have too many days below zero. I wasn't really cold to be honest. ...just playing along with Katriel's "complaining" :-)
hi Tim cool videos of plowing the snow I haven't seen much of you plowing the snow now I wanna put a plow on my tractor,ha,hi Katriel, good videos, later guys
Balaclavas help a lot.
In ideal circumstances, put driveway markers out before the snow.
The ideal would be a blade with gauge wheels.
Your neighbors are lucky to have you
I hope they think so. :-) usually probably pretty annoyed with the tractor noise around all of the time.
Katriel did a great job. If the whole college thing doesn't work out, she can start a snowplowing business ;)
Seems like since you are so nice as to plow out what used to be Neighbor Bob's driveway, the new owners should let you park your trailer there like Bob did :D
Katriel really makes your video
Thanks Glenn. She is always the star. We love having her around here during the college breaks.
You guys are awesome... wish you were my neighbor!
Wow she learned fast and did great holy crap...😁🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰👍 Cute too...!
Watching your videos makes me miss my lil MF gc1710. I plan on getting me another one soon. It sure would have come in handy around here. Who knows. I may even get me a JD 1025r like yours. Regardless of what I choose, it will be great to have some fun tractoring again. GOD Bless.
Well this snow storm was a biggie for us in Connecticut. Unfortunately we don't have a snow plow on our 1025r. Fortunately someone does also help plow cause it's a shared drive. The bucket loader is very inefficient with a lot of snow. Great for creating piles but not plowing. I think I want a plow for my truck haha.
Yep, big snow!
Tractor Time with Tim the plow must make it easier. Definitely something I think would make the job a lot easier to tackle.
They make some really nice cabs for that tractor. I know you have probably heard that enough, And I did see a video a while back you did on a cab. The cabs are quite a bit of money, And they do take a little time to put on. I will never go without a cab in the winter niw after having one. I wish I would have got one years earlier. With the bitter -20 degree windchill we have in my area right now it makes it really nice plowing. Just my 2 cents, May be another attachment in the future you may want. Along with many others I'm sure. Anyways, Another great video.
Great vid guys Smile More God Bless Stay Safe Guys 👍
Katriel sure did catch on quick and did a great job. I think it is great how you help out the neighborhood. One question I have is whether or not you put down and de-ice material after you plow. Does the little thin layer of snow that remains melt off or evaporate on its own?
We do not apply any salt. Want to protect driveways.
I did notice that we both have the same style cab.
good neighbor to have. nice family man.
Thanks for watching, Steve!
How much snow did the parents get it Martin county? Southern Wayne county got 1.5-2". We are setting a record for the number of days below freezing. Enjoy your videos!!!!!
Hello the tractor was missing a beacon Greetings from Germany
I hate the annoying flashing lights
Tractor Time with Tim then the little john deere would look taller grins
Wondering what you hooked your extra lights up to above your turn lights? I want to put something on to shine backwards so I can see at night backing up or maybe even using the backhoe after dark. Not that I plan on that! Looking forward to snow this year. Might be a little faster than my 55 year old 10 horse MF. 32 inch blade.
Now thats a new ice bucket challenge right there, edge tamers work. Johnny looks different without the bucket and arms. Good neighbors.
He really does look different.
Right, I never noticed that Jonny had a grill guard.
Grill guard comes standard with the loader.
Great job! I got cold from just watching.
Tim,
Do you have the tires filled? Or do you just use the weights on the back?
tires are filled, plus wheel weights.
Hey Tim one thing on my suggest that you do with your blade the next time you go out and blow this might sound really crazy do you spray Pam cooking spray on your blade I was told that all keep the snow from sticking to it I know how that sounds but give it a try
Just out of curiosity how does it do if you back drag snow away from the door? Love the videos
Im in the snow belt of upper New York state, its been around -5degF (about -25degF with windchill) for the last 2 days and has dropped over a foot a day. Just picked up a new 1025R a few weeks ago, plowing with a 5ft rear blade and the loader, not the most ideal for this area but that was all the finance committee would agree to, she has already told me I need to get the 54in snowblower for next year!
...at least get the edge tamers to finish the season! coupon code TTWT! edgetamer.com
You need to finish your video for the Edge Tamers so I know if they work well or not haha
Looking forward to the edge tamer video..i have been waiting for mine to be released from back order since before Christmas ! But i did get an e-mail Thursday that they are on the way...Ps I did use TTWT for my 5% discount, and R2 manufacturing were very informative about my order status.. Keep on Keepin on
Good to hear John. They work!
Katrel 15 degrees is a heat wave compared to our temps here in new york 0 degrees since christmas eve and today -5 thays without the wind chill . but the cold doesn't bother me. i have a 7,5 foot western plow on my 92 chevy its soo worm inside the truck i usually ride with the window down but great work and ask the finance committee for a pair of carhartt overalls like big hoss is wearing lol i mean your father lol
We can't find carharts to fit the ladies. So, we found these 'body covers' They work really well. She wasn't cold cept for feet, hands, and face.
In MN it is -10 degrees
Greetings from Anderson Indiana
Welcome neighbor!
Tractor Time with Tim was surprised to see Westfieldians
Man I could’ve used your help today. Took nine hours to snow blow half my yard with a 44 inch blower. Some drifts are five feet high.
Wow!
I remember the day my kid hit 90lbs, he couldn't drive my tractor cause the sensor would shut it off but once he hit the 90lbs limit he can now drive it,you need a cab on it
We have have 15 or 16 in. up here in Walkerton ,In. and it's still snowing. You know what I am doing sat.
3 thumbs down why ? Wow I really enjoy your videos. Brings back memories of when I pushed snow.
Who knows? Oh well.
It was - 21 c wirh wind chil - 32. To night - 32 wirh wind chill - 40 tonight. Staying inside. Watching You Tube !!!
Looks like you got more snow than we do up here but not as cold as we are.
I love your YonderStar nativity scene. We had some neighbors in the 80s that had that set and it was always wonderful. Just last year I found the company online and my sister managed to get Mary, Joseph, and Jesus. My parents got her the three Wisemen this year to go with the set. Then Christmas Eve I received an email from YonderStar that the company that made the figures went out of business and there are no more available. That was a sad day, I guess I will never get my set now. :(
didn't know that! Christy got them from her parents.
Have you looked at bucket wings for pushing snow I got them it takes half the time moving snow
John Deere used make a very good snowmobile, and the coldest Ii ever saw was -62.
Love the video!! Also Katriel's hat, just wish it came in blaze orange, a north Wisc. thing. :-)
Safety yellow and safety green. I could see if I could add blaze orange. Not sure it exists. I also added some grey and other bland colors :-) check them out at tractortimewithtim.com/shop
Back in the day we had a soft sided cab to keep the driver warm. worked pretty well keeps the wind off of you also.
Check out my video tour of the Original Tractor Cab company. They likely made the cab you used back in the day!
Such nice neighbors you are.
...on some days :-) I'm sure that we are quite annoying to the neighborhood on other days!
We get A lot of snow 3&4 foot drifts are normal lol I use A atv with A plow it pushes snow no problem but it gets difficult to pile snow up that tractor with A blade on the loader to pile the snow up high would be perfect for me.
Happy New Year Marks family! When I was deciding on my snow removal solution after switching from first a JD Model 96 Electric with a blade (yes, both exist, and with electric motors you have incredible torque for plowing) then to a 1975 JD 210 with blade and 37A blowersnower (as Paul would say) for which the weight with heavy wet snow “persuaded” me to add the hydraulic lift kit, then moved to my 2305, the curved and geometric complications of living on a court, the experience of then being able to put snow precisely where I wanted it (especially after the articulated JD wheel loader comes through from the city contractor and piles it 4-5 feet high) caused me to go with the model 47 blower instead of the 54 so I could do sidewalks. But given your mentioning sidewalks, couldn’t you angle the blade and do it, or would you have to remove the wings? I can’t do the math for the angles in my head, but Katriel probably could....
Best plow video
I have a John deere 2210 with a front loader and I snow plowed half a mile, works great
Yes, 2210 with front blade would be very similar to Johnny and blade.
Tractor Time with Tim does Johnny have a hard time starting in low temperatures
Not really. He sputters for a long time, but always starts.
Tractor Time with Tim mine does the same I live in western ohio and it snowed two inches and I plowed my whole neighborhood, wish I filmed it
Driveway number six excellent job A+
im so so happy that you where able to make a snow removal video! im having a lot of fun with my tractor in the snow! so do you keep johnny on 4x4 while plowing?
Sometimes, sometimes not. It doesn't turn as well when it 4wd.
Enjoy your videos Live in Somerset, Ky but grew up in Indianapolis. I have a 1023E and have similar but not all the capabilities of the 1023R, Saw you were at the Louisville Farm Machinery show last year, but did not see your name on the list of exhibitors for this years show. Just wondering if you are planning to attend? Keep up the great videos and kudos to your full family involvement in your various endeavors. .
Yes, we will be attending as media. We don’t have a booth, as that would restrict us from seeing other equipment.
hard cab would be the bomb. cool video.
Great video
