Am I the only one who misses Pontiac
Whatruacop Miss it too
I really miss it
Whatruacop I still drive a 2004 Grand Am
Whatruacop yeah i think you are
Whatruacop yeah
Since I was a kid I always thought that these 4th gen Firebirds/Trans Ams were some of the coolest looking cars ever designed. Great review Kyle!
1mlb704 I first saw them a few years back and they're the best looking cars ever imo. I bought a 97 Camaro Z/28 6 months ago and have been slowly rebuilding it since then. It's 95% ready!
It did look awesome. I also liked the previous generation that was used for Kit in Night Rider.
I want a firebird so badly
Whoa, the dash pad and door panels aren't cracked. Rare
I kept it covered in my garage
My door panels are intact... The dash is a different story
I wish flip up headlights would make a comeback.
They can't. Too dangerous to pedestrians we'll never see them again. Thats why we have to preserve pop up cars
Cory R i dont, i owned a 4th gen trans am and they were a gigantic pain in the ass
few issues
1. modern LED lights don't fit in pop-ups
2. more moving parts to break, and pop-ups ALWAYS broke
Not true. In the 90's many cars had pop up headlights; Toyota Celica T18 (had one myself) and Mazda 323F BG never broke.
It would definetely make sense on the new Charger. Otherwise theres no point to why they ruined the front end of the car after 2014.
A black/black Firehawk, or WS6 4th gen. is still my #1 spot on my "cars to own" bucket list. Miss pop-up headlights. RIP Pontiac.
That thing is practically brand new! Wow 😳
it was my old car. I traded it in. I was the second owner and it was as clean as new. It crossed 16k miles on the way to the dealer:)
Cool to see a review of an older car ever now and then
Definitely, it's hard to keep up with all of the opportunities I have nowadays, but I'm going to make it one of my priorities to try and seek out unique older cars. It's so much fun!
Saabkyle04 your awesome
You should review my 1990 Eclipse GSX when I get back from tech school in January. It may not have a headliner or the original shifter and radio. But it's a well preserved survivor that I got off the original owner
One of the best cars GM has ever produced. Car still looks awesome. Nice review as always.
Man, I miss my 1996 Trans Am. I love the 4th gen Trans Ams the most out of all the generations of firebirds. The 30th anniversary Trans Am is my dream car, I drove one this past June. What a joy to drive! The 02 collector's edition Trans Am has really grown on me and I wouldn't mind owning one of those as well. The 1994 25th anniversary Trans Am is sweet too. Damn I miss Pontiac.
i know new cars reviews pays the bills, but most of them have no grace at all, these "old" ones are a real treat for us viewers, thanks kyle.
I love the old car reviews, Thank you kyle
I love all the GM reviews. I just finished watching the Buick Lesabre video. This is premium content as far as I'm concerned. Thank you for posting.
I love your channel man, you have the best variety and professional content. Always get pumped when I see a new video from you, thanks man!
Saabkyle04 how's your grandpa (papa) doing ? Can you make a update video on him and his car
Seriously the most informational car review I think I've seen on RUclips
Nice video Kyle! I enjoy your in-depth video's of old and new cars. Keep up the great work!
Cheers.
As a long time Saabkyle04 fan...this is your best video in awhile. I love this generation of cars, and some of the more interesting stuff in general. While your newer videos are very professional (kudos to you on how much they have improved), there's always that part of me that enjoys seeing your older videos, in which the cars were either a little older, and/or a little more interesting and special! Good luck, and stay awesome!
Thanks Kyle! Been waiting a long time for this! You are the best!
Litterally my dream car
iroc or the trans am gta and this trans am
The Trans Am has always been my favorite as well. Harder to find them stock and in not abused. Thanks Kyle for reaching back to the 4th gens - your choice and your style are much appreciated!
Walter Bell same
My dad owns one he paid 20,100$
Always enjoyed the TransAm for a variety of reasons. Glad to see this review of such a rare bird. Thanks Kyle!!
Loved it! As you know I've been waiting for this one. Hope you keep mixing in some old school stuff!
My mother's friend has a Firebird as her summer car and I rode in it once. It was really nice to take a ride in.
Oh man I miss my old Firebird, and I love how in depth your videos are.
finally an excellent well done in depth over view. Thanks man!
Nice review. Very thorough and more accurate than most RUclips TransAm & Firehawk posts.
Now THIS is why Saabkyle04 is Saabkyle04!!! In Cuba on the set of a Hollywood movie one week and bringing nostalgic American muscle the next week!! WOW!
Good job on that review
I love these Trans Ams I know a lot of people would disagree but I like the RAM Air Hood better than the Firehawk hood so I would change it to the RAM Air
Definetly enjoyed this review. Retro cars are amazing cool. Would be nice to see more classics reviews
Glad to see this GM video Kyle. You have not lost your style or touch.
best review yet next to the WS6!
Awesome review! Love Trans-Ams. Missing my old WS6
You’re one of the best youtubers i can think of!! Keep up the good work Kyle!!
Thanks so much buddy!!
Saabkyle04 what ever happened to car connections inc. ?? Is it still around?
It's a Trans Am, I liked the video before the first word
i really like your channel especially old and new cars
I just got a Pontiac firebird v6 and I love it!!! I'm sure a Trans-Am oils be even better! Love the video
Great review as always I love this bird.
Aggtown1 Me too I really love this firebird I think it's gorgeous.
Nice car and nice review Kyle
Great job on the review! Full of die-hard facts. Truth be told I've never heard the stock Firehawk exhaust until now, but man it sounds mean!
Can always depend on you y review forgotten gems thanks Saabkyle04
Dude you have the coolest job ever
what an amazing car, excellent review as always Kyle ;-)
The tail lights and that rear view 👌🙌
Wow; what a review and car! Nice.
That’s a beautiful car. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
@Saabkyle04 Fantastic review as always...
That Firebird is a timeless beauty that stood the test of time!
Nice vid!
Finally an old car just like the classic saabkyle04 videos this is what I've been wanting to see!
Hey man luv your reviews! Was wondering when ur going to get to review a Bonneville gxp! Got one and I luv it!👌💯
I've been looking forward to this lol
Love that spoiler, never knew about that hiding cup holder thats dope!
I always loved the Pontiac Trans Am they are nice cars. I loved the Firebird too which the Trans Am is like a special package of the Firebird. I really love the the Camaros too.
Was my dream car as a kid growing up in the late 90s. Wanted something new and have a '16 mustang GT now
But....What's the Doug Score?
What is that? lol
Saabkyle04 only @dougdemuro can answer that question
Haha I gotcha
JDDIZZLEEE What's a amazing joke...
Saabkyle04 hay can you make more videos on you 1989 Nissan
I used to have a 1999 Trans Am LT1 5.7 with dual exhaust pipes and T-tops, we had the car from September 12, 2004 to September 10, 2016. We sold it for $8000 dollars with 196,000 miles on it.
I'm really becoming a fan of these F Bodys
Ivan Nichols me too
Ivan Nichols The Firebirds at least. Sexy cars.
finally, a car worth uploading.
Had this model in silver automatic the 2001 TransAm Firehawk with Bilstein etc traded it in for a Volvo V70 oceanRace station. The Firehawk only woke up at 70 always pulling at the stiruups. Frustrating on SoFl roads after getting up ver 130 realized I had family at home. It was my everyday commute. Glorious experience!! surprised my wife when I bought it. She was displayed on a ramp pointing up to the sky one of 450 made that year I mean the Firehawk not my wife.
Always loved the Firehawk!
MrCarGuy20 the firehawks are one of the best Trans am that ever made
@@tysonthewolfe93 Don't forget the Formula Firehawks.
Yes...a better fbody review than the camaro you did a while back.
Omg beautiful car!!
hey i love this classic car video
can you please make review on equus bass 770 ? i would love to see that
Yes love it. Flawed beauty and an affordable classic ask me how I know! Happy 3 years I've had with mine.
Dream car right here
What a beauty.
Thia was my old car. I traded it in for a 6 speed G8 GXP with 10k miles. I was the second owner and it was as
clean as new. It crossed 16k miles on the way to the dealer:)
Dream car
I'm building an 01 10th Anniversary Firehawk as we speak. Dragged it out of a storage unit in someone's backyard.
Glad I still have mine. Not perfect but i love it. 2000 ws6
This gen Firebird still looks great, even all these years later.
It's a shame they don't make Firebirds/ Trans Am's anymore.
Dan Forrister That's pretty sad that they will never make these anymore cuz there's no pontiac dealership anymore.
It was part of the whole Chapter 11 bankruptcy reorganisation plan, same thing happened to Oldsmobile, Saturn, Hummer & too a lesser degree Saab (sorry Kyle) The way both Ford & GM had been running their businesses this was inevitable at some point.
GM should revive it
GM killed them off well before chapter 11
actually they still make them its called Trans am Worlwide
I love this car
Cool wanted this
Hey Kyle think you can track down a 77 trans am bandit edition black exterior with t tops
Love this... can you do a 2000-2003 Acura tl
It's gonna be strange when mid 90's to early 00's cars like this become sought after classics
always been interested in such oddballs as this is, from that era
So no mention at all of how the driving experience was, we just watch you do it for a little bit? Nice!
Wish my 01 Trans Am was in that good of shape!!!!
As the owner of a 2002 Trans Am Firehawk that was ordered with the rare 1LE suspension package, I can assure you that the price for that option was $1899.
Kyle can you review the new 2017 Chrysler Pacifica sometime if you are able to? I would love to see one!
How’s the clutch like? And how is it for shorter drivers?
bring back pontiac
Jean Vargas Alvarez Yes that's what they should do GM Nerds to bring it back.
@@tysonthewolfe93 yes
Cool car
The best TransAm ever, IMHO. One of these days....
Can you do a review on the 2017 Civic Type R if you can get your hands on one.
i love pontiacs
My buddy owned a special ordered 01 Firebird Formula Firehawk with no t-tops. #435 Most Firehawks are T-Top Trans Am's. Very few were Formulas.
Great review! However, I would like to point out that those seats are standard equipment on ALL Trans Ams.
I wish a many of day Pontiac was still around
Austin Edington me too 😭
I wish you could review the 1977 version of this car, that'd be awesome.
I just bought a 2002 WS6 friday, and then this is uploaded the next day ,wat
MrMatte0000 how are you enjoying your TA?
GunGuyTKD I love it. Went from a 1993 Silverado to the trans am, huge upgrade
MrMatte0000 great! 6 months ago I bought a 97 Camaro Z28 with a blown engine and I've been working on it and almost have it running again.
Please show a third gen Firebird Trans Am: 82-84 are my favorites! :-D
Mine too
Ever go to Greenville sc for reviews?
🔥🔥🔥
which practical carefully separate half tone weather constitutional barrel next.
Beautiful car, I would enjoy owning that. Upgrade those wheels to 19 by 11 with deep dish and 315 rear tires, add fender flares to fit those wheels and give it that intimidating look, replace the spoiler for the Trans-am wing, upgrade that muted exhaust for one that is more aggressive sounding and looking. Wow, i'm drooling.
A friend of mine had a Firebird. It wasn't a fire hawk but it had this SLP package. Thing was stupid fast.
My favorite sports car from that year. Still enjoying your traveling so far this summer? Still humid here in the Tar Heel State!
Yeah bud, it's so humid here! I have a 2017 LR Discovery to go film today, it's going to be brutal haha.
Gotta love that P/S pump whine when you rev... this one is within 5,000 of getting the owner asked what supercharger is installed?
Can you review a c5 corvette z06. I noticed you haven't done one 😢
