It’s rare to see a collection of words put together for the first time in human history. I like the Sacred Water as a concept. Allows an answer to defeating a villain besides Kill Em. Just like the Mafuba. I also think it’s important to serve as closing action for the Frieza saga. It establishes the characters we’ll be following going forward, and where there lives are at. We’ve moved past Yamcha/Tien/Ciaotzu for better or for worse, and Krillin while being ready to square up, is moving into more of a civilian role. Now it’s all about Piccolo, Gohan, Vegeta and of course Goku. I think a well written Garlic Jr. Saga would’ve been good. The one we got. Not executed well.
Maaaaaaaaaaaan I’m glad you said that because I’ve always felt that way. But he’s like a street level villain. Pilaf and Garlic Jr. are pretty similar.
@@johnn9210stop spreading misinformation 😂 dbz kai has better animation and a more accurate English dub. Nobody wants to watch 291 episodes in Japanese 😂
@@tay14741 Friend, have you seen the original English dubs or ocean dubs? The soundtrack is far far superior. Like, it's not even close lol. You may not be old enough to remember, but the score and some of the old voice acting just hits different. Type Gohan turns ss2 and pikons theme into RUclips and you'll see what I mean 👍🎵
This is the hottest hot take that the sun itself can't even compete...
Honestly, I don't think it's the best saga in DBZ, but it's definitely underrated. It could've been better, but it doesn't deserve the hate it gets.
Underrated saga, for sure. But best saga in the series? 😅
Yes
Because no alien or super saiyan shít
It's just earthlings saving their planet on their own
@@imsyed5 I guess you're more of a DB fan than a DBZ fan, lol

i always liked Garlic jr and always thought the man is canon
He definitely is canon. I like him too.
its not a canon saga but this is really good
It's canon
@@mekhimays9599no it isn’t
They simply made this filler arc cuz they needed more content in the manga that the anime can adapt
@@mekhimays9599heck, the goku SSJ vs frieza 100% is mostly filler cuz they needed a longer fight
@@HeIsAPhantom14 it's canon
@@mekhimays9599 no it isn’t, stop coping, if you enjoyed it fine, but DBZ Kai cuts out filler episodes, why do you think the arc was skipped entirely
You out your mind
I liked the saga, but I wouldn't say it's the best one
Why don't I remember this saga? Was it even aired on toonami?...the only good thing about this saga was the introduction of maron lol
They had a garlic junior movie. The dead zone also. I can't recall if it aired in toonami but I saw it through a friend who had the VCR tape.
That wasn't the only good thing
What happen pilaf they look alike

This was a movie right or I’m trippin
Nah, it's a filler arc that aired after Namek before the Cell Saga began.
The Movie was the first DBZ movie, chronologically after Classic and before Z. This here is the Filler Arc after Namek, where Garlic Jr. Returns.
Nah this saga was ass at least in my opinion
bros tweaking
Did u hear a sayin with was born with a power level over ten thousand
How did I just know how this guy would sound just by having a backwards opinion like The title suggests
Fair take, even if I would say it wasn't the absolute best. I rather enjoyed it and its a good example of filler not always being bad.
am i making a mistake by watching dbz kai instead of dbz?
You are doing more right than wrong imo
Depending on which z you're watching.
Yes, 100%. Glad you asked. Enjoy Dbz!

Better than the buu saga.
That's because the Buu saga was good.
It's too long. It's the worst. That's the only filler I always think of skipping and I never skip filler.
