Psalm 49:17: “So don't be impressed with those who get rich and pile up fame and fortune. 17 They can't take it with them; fame and fortune all get left behind.”
I’m so glad you decided to bring these back!! who else remembers back in the day when Ben Dover asked his question about weight loss & fitness. The look on Elliot’s face will forever be engraved in my mind haha. I’m so hyped for the new content that’s to come my man keep it up
I would phrase it a bit differently, a woman or a man who seeks to be “famous” are seeking validation in the crowds instead of inside or with their partner / family. This eventually brings a lot of problems in a relationship.
I agree but you also gotta vet how important marriage and family is to them as well not just discard them cuz they want to get more wealth or fame. I agree though it is better to get famous then have a family after, rather than have a family and gain fame while having a family. A whole lot of temptations you aren’t used to, or weren’t expecting to have to deal with. Can definitely be done tho- as we see with Elliot. Got famous after having a family- stayed married cuz family and his wife were super important to him to begin with, more important than ruining it with temptations from fame.
Yes I agree! Every dude thinks that he deserves a slay Queen, a boss babe, but it's extremely superficial and very surface level and only what you see on social media is just the tip of the spear. But there is so much underlying crap that the masses don't see! If a man has any level of self-respect and is level-headed that comes from a strong family background then he will know the difference right away! I hope this kid makes the best decision! He's extremely young and believe me is going to come across so many different women in his life. It's not even funny
The concept of a "dying breed" of men with Christian values often refers to the perceived decline in traditional masculine traits aligned with Christian virtues, such as leadership, adventure, and risk-taking. Glad to see you upholding these values and sharing the strength journey with fellow men! ❤
So true. My ex wife wanted fame. I did not realise how much a bad thing it is until her fame hunger overpowered everything else. In the i had to leave as i lost the good part of her to this hunger.
Bernadine Bluntly is the only prominent female I've seen do it right. She is a God fearing woman who is currently pregnant with her 7th child. She and her husband are dedicated to God, they started or are part of a Christian dating site/app. She coaches young women in following the gospel a d becoming the type of woman a Christian man would want. She has created countless families through her work. She has been on the Whatever podcast at least once but mostly she is a wife and mother who isn't running around trying to host a podcast, dedicated her life to anything but family, etc... like most Christian grifting influencers. If she can't follow the gospel she isn't wife material.
Been through this. My ex wife needed attention from men in general to feel worthy. She rarely left the house without returning with a story about random men making offers while she was out. She also decided as a 32 year old married mother of 2 that she wanted to be Instagram famous. Everything she posted online was either a selfie, bikini picture or straight up lingerie picture. When we met she had a couple hundred followers, when we split she was over 100k and her perceived options definitely impacted her decisions. Towards the end she would even show me texts from professional athletes and throw it in my face. Looking back, I dodged a bullet. She is now a 37 year old single mom (not my kids) who finds value in being used and abused and whose looks are declining.
I've been following this dude since you children were in diapers. This fellow has hit a devolpental limit and there's a reason he retains none of his true fan base. He needs his own growing up to do, such as your selves.
Missed you brother. Please don’t ever stop with the wisdom because you’re valued.

If this kid is listening he needs to listen to every single word. Elliot is saying! Very spot on!

Gentlemen - get your dating advice from men who have been married for at least 10 years.

and what makes you think, you needing attention from younger beautiful girls aren't in the same boat as your ex-wife?!
@ I dont need it now and definitely didn’t need it when I was MARRIED. I’d say that’s a difference Mr contrarian.
This guy got me through a horrible upbringing and a broken home to becoming an independent man ; ps I’m from England not the USA .
That intro took me back 🥹
