    This one resonated a lot Elliot. Removing distractions - which can be incredibly scary as we are now finally alone with our thoughts. Who knows what will emerge from that. And another - the path illuminates as we walk it. All we have to do is take the next step. Thanks for all you do!

    Amen brother, so beautiful said 🙏🏻❤️
    Each and every one of us should do exactly that, to take the time off from distractions, sit in silence and listen, seeking the Word of God within and let it speak out through us in vocation, just like uncle E says here, amen!
    Doing what is infront of us right now is a great “easy” step to start at, it’s never really easy lol but it is already laid open very tangible, just waiting to be done (like the dishes).
    These things that have to be done right infront of us are manifested into the greater call.

    Yo Elliott! How to detox the mind/brain and cleanse them from the unresourceful thoughts, stuck memories and thinking patterns?

  • @coffeelover1763
    @coffeelover1763 День назад

    I think this was really good. You're on the right path with your purpose. It doesn't matter if you cover every topic twice, you're a helper. You have a gift to be able to help a lot of men all at once.
    I only remember realizing my purpose and telling my mother about it. That was about '98. I'm still learning about it. With you it seems more like Sam and Frodo, I would be Sam in this case. It's my job to help you get the ring into the lava. I might not be able to carry the ring for you, but I can carry you up the mountain. I know Sam does carry the ring for a short time when Frodo is in the cocoon, but that's not the point lol. I'm supposed to help you on your mission, once you get the ring into the fire, I won't need to help anymore.
    I do see your purpose as a helper, it makes sense to me as much as my own purpose. The details can be hard to understand, but it makes sense when it needs to.

    • @coffeelover1763
      @coffeelover1763 День назад

      Also when you're being true to your purpose, things fall into place. If you embrace it, God allows the pieces to fall into place.
      When you accept that you were put on this earth to help, it works out in ways you can't see.
      For some men being a father, a bagel maker, a coffee shop owner, personal trainer, martial arts teacher, is their purpose. But it doesn't sound big and exciting, so they miss it. It may be bigger than we can know down here on Earth, but it makes sense to God.
      Like my purpose at helping you, I might just be yapping and a stranger, but he knows why he set this up. He knows why he sent me here, he knows why he won't let me quit. Maybe it's just helping you embrace your calling and purpose. Maybe it's also to help you not lose your family.
      When I hear that 2 of your daughters want's to be nuns and your wife spends all her time at church, I see red flags. I could be wrong but it seems to me worth checking on. Making sure that church isn't a way to escape and move, or get attention from not you.

    • @coffeelover1763
      @coffeelover1763 День назад

      Sometimes doing what is needed for helping, isn't always cool, but it's what's needed.
      Maybe that's why God gave me the purpose that he did, and why he wants me to help here. If I don't give up on you, maybe it helps you learn not to give up on them. No matter what. To stay, show up, and do the work. To do what seems impossible. Even hard cases that don't want help, don't wanna listen or learn. To put it out there and let God handle the rest.
      Being confident enough to not have to be cool, to be thought of as weird or whatever, and be okay with that. To open up and really do what needs done. I'm sure I would be liked a lot better if I did things differently, but wouldn't be as helpful. And it wouldn't work for those that need it.
      Sometimes you have to pick topics men don't wanna hear, like I do. I'm not always right about all of them, but the work is solid.
      I try so hard to not help, and then I can't not help. Some men do landscaping, some help the homeless, some clean houses for free, some teach personal training and wisdom.
      It's doing the work that is in you to do. Lot's of people think me helping strangers like you is a waste of my time. I can see their point, yet on the other hand I know it's not a waste, not if I can help. If I can make things better, then I will. It's how I've been since I was 3 years old.

    I found my calling to give fair access to abortion and went to med school and opened up an abortion clinic in an area that doesn't have easy access. It feels nice to be able to help women who may not have had another option

    • @tinycheemsdog7005
      @tinycheemsdog7005 2 дня назад

      Have you considered whether there might be negative consequences from the abortions the women get?

    • @BRIANROSER
      @BRIANROSER День назад +1

      Watch out... most abortions end in regret, statistically speaking. It's one of those things that seem good now but end up being the wrong decisions.
      Just saying. I dont think you are bad or anything for opening a clinic but perhaps I might plant a seed that might grow into a realization.
      On a side note, simililarly, many people think that it is good to offer troubled, trans-identifying people a transition, but the more we allow it and the more time passes, we are seeing that MORE THAN HALF of the people who undergo such a transition regret their decision after some years and THERE IS NO GOING BACK.
      Therefore, these permanent, nature-denying and natural-order-rejecting decisions that we can not take back, are EXTREMELY dangerous and especially for the women who later in life regret it every moment of their day, I feel very bad. Because people are proposing abortion left and right, even the presence of the discussion of pro-anti-life itself drives more people to abort than without.
      So anyway, hope you have a nice day. Maybe reconsider the whole topic. Greetings
