I definitely wouldn't put brother Allen Parr anywhere near to being in the same category as someone like Joel Osteen. You don't have to give anyone money. You don't have to feel obligated to do so. There are a lot of RUclips channels that take advantage of their viewership and ask for donations or support that they may not need. I don't know how RUclips monetization works. I don't know how much profit there really is from that. Do you know? Can you tell me how much money that adds up to? It's also said that a servant is worthy of their wages, and in cases where there are ministries on RUclips channel that provide a lot of helpful teaching, a lot of guidance, all in the name of God's work for the benefit of the rest of us believers, I don't see any problem with donating to those ministries. Judge them by their fruits. That is up to you.

I faced a tiny amount of blowback for starting up my Patreon page in 2018, but I must admit that those few voices took up more space in my mind than they should have! It all started with one person contacting me, looking for a way to support my ministry on RUclips. Patreon was just the mechanism, and slowly others wanted in. My biggest viral video in 2019 and the sudden shutdown of the world in 2020 led others to my work as well. I can't thank my patrons for the freedom they give me to create meaningful content that takes time to make and doesn't have to be click-baity or following the whims of the algorithm. In turn, I've taken some of this money to support other RUclipsrs. If Allen's work has blessed you, consider how you can help him financially to bless others!
As a missionary, I know that donations are essential for the gospel to get into the Muslim world where I preach Jesus. I think of dollars in terms of souls. Last trip, I spent $15k but reached about 20k people! Praise God!
What I don't understand that some pastors have mansions, multiple expensive cars, etc. but their congregation is suffering Financial. I have seen this first hand, widows that losing houses, no car and church won't lift their hands to help but yet these people pay tithes faithfully for 20 plus years. They put money in the church building, but won't help the church which is us. I agree on supporting pastors when I see the money is winning souls. Once I was approached to help a mother and her son by the deacon in this big church, I went home and pulled out my own fridge and freezer to help this mother, the church wouldn't even take her to the store, but yet we raised thousands each Sunday. I was done!!!!
You are right there is a lot of ugly stuff happening. Many people are misusing the Bible verses and Supressing the Church. We should know the bible in the Context! But anyways we should invest in the Kingdom of God, for proclaming the Gospel ! But let every one discern and prayful take decesions on how to support the Ministry of the Lord.
This was one of my first Christian channels when I was a "baby" born again Christian and it has helped me a lot to understand many things about the Bible. This is one subject that grieves me the most. I don’t understand how believers have a problem with supporting the church and those called to full time ministry. But we are able to give to everybody else. These are God’s servants who are edifying your souls.
A few months ago I was in a constant state of paranoia of loosing my salvation and it weighed on my soul heavily without me realizing it. And then I saw you videos on the subject and then read the accompanying scriptures and it was like a great burden was lifted off me and that was thanks to you. I commented on your last video about sharing a message of my own. My own journey with God started around seven years ago in 2014. I had a dream not too long ago where I saw the silhouette of Jesus walking on the seacoast, when he stopped, held up his hand and said, "Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand." (Matthew 4:17). After I heard that I woke up. I prayed a lot about that dream and so many other things. God wrote on my heart and the Holy Spirit guided me in finally being able to write a message for people, what I wanted to share, which was God and my journey with God. I will be supporting your ministry and possibly a few others, because you all are doing in the service of God and Jesus Christ. The message that I have written out I also hope to somehow get into and audio/text version that I can put on to my RUclips, but that's difficult for me to do on my own due to my own limitations. This is so true. I'm working full time, going to seminary full time (paying out of pocket), family time, and I just started a RUclips channel. The Lord is faithful and He provides. I do look forward to doing ministry full time one day. My RUclips Channel is only a fraction of what it could be, if only I had more time to devote, I suppose in the Lord's timing it will happen.
When I see that a pastor or minister has to work a 9-5 job, instead of focusing fully on his church and congregation is saddening. I don’t always agree with everything you say, but I was taught “You don’t throw the baby out with the bath water.” I agree with you totally in this video. Some people are quick to judge churches when they are asking for money, but will give or spend money on things that don’t nurture him or her spiritually. I get a lot out of you, Ruslan, Mike, John, and Joe almost DAILY. At the very least weekly. I have to do some mathicals (lol I'm a budget guy) but once I get it all into perspective I think I should be able to split some things up with my tithes between you 4 (mainly), and still keep my commitments to my church. I actually want to say thank you for bringing up supporting Christian RUclips ministry. I hadn’t even thought about giving before because it honestly just hadn’t occurred to me to give, and I imagine that’s how it is for others as well. It’s more obvious to give in church because I associate tithing with the more traditional church and outreach ministry. But I actually watch a lot of Christian RUclipsrs and y’all are out here doing a lot of beautiful work changing hearts for Jesus and explaining Scripture for application and ease of understanding. Worshippers of the Creator and believers of the Christ KNOW that they will fully enjoy the Creator's and his Christ's eternal love, kindness, compassions, generosities, favors, and blessings for eternity as submissive and obedient subjects of the "Kingdom of God" under the loving rulership, guidance, and protection of Jesus Christ, the One given by the Creator all authority in heaven and on earth.

I have benefited from your videos and am very grateful to you and your team. However, if you have come to this point...maybe ask are you focusing on those people in your back yard than the world? I'm not saying you are not doing that already, and you don't have to prove it to me. My point is if you are at this point, then why not be like Paul and refrain. I read an article a short while back that listed reasons people (men) go into the ministry. Here were the top four reasons: 1. money 2. power 3. to be famous 4. women These are not part of the Christian walk.
I can understand being financially stable and having the things that you need maybe even some things you want but being a millionaire or a billionaire that's like gluttony and being a man of God. They not you could be helping people in need more
Right. A pastor does not “deserve” to have a nice car or to have vacations paid for. Those are luxuries and aren’t necessary for anyone to sustain a ministry.

You get paid from you tube. How much money depends on how many subscribers you have. Yes I do know it is alot of work doing what Allen does and other you tubers.

Hey Brother Allen, I've been greatly influenced and led through your online ministry and appreciate all that you do. And while i agree that pastors need to be compensated fairly and justly and we shouldn't judge them for family vacations and other benefits that laypeople have, I am not sure that priests taking meat home and selling it back to the meat market would be a point you needed to make unless there was research into proving this was true as I thought this food was holy and set aside for the priests and their families only and not for just anyone to eat... would appreciate your thoughts and feedback. What troubles me is how highly compensated some leaders called pastors are and how little money they are using to impact the community or their parishioners lives in meaningful ways yet they feel ok in million dollar homes, luxury cars beyond Lexus. Love how you take on these topics and scriptures that Most Christians don't discuss or want to b held accountable to. All these scriptures yet we keep hearing same ole sermons in church. Thanks Allen. I agree with the divided attention of pastors yet the uneasiness of putting yourself full time in ministry at the mercy of wishy washy Churches.
Alan you've taken this passage completely out of context, the context is TRAVELLING evangelists, i.e. people who leave their homes and travel abroad to preach the gospel, Paul was doing this as a travelling apostle. YOu miss the point that "bring along a believing wife" at verse 5 refers to taking a wife abroad on a missioary journey, it's not talking about somebody going to a church fellowship half a mile from their home on a Sunday. Also at verse 7, soldiers who go to war, don't do so at their own expense, they can expect payment, but soldiers have to LEAVE their homes to go to war, nobody pays a soldier to si at home for 40 years. I'd love to debate you on this on zoom or webex. If 1Cor 9:1-14 is commanding monetary payment for Christian ministers then pay everyone a salary, pay each deacon and elder, pay the person who sweeps the floor, pay everyine or nobody who sits at home and is not a travelling evangelist. Sadly Alan your just following man -made tradition. preachers who are no travelling evangelists have no right to demand payment. If people wish to pay you for your RUclips work then that's upto them and is none of my business as your doing evangelism and I understand 1 Corr 9:1-14 as stating that evangelists can be supported, although as the interenet did not exists in the 1st century the expectation was of leaving your home to do mission work far away.. But the modern Church tradition of paying one person who preaches week after week to the saved is not biblical, you won't find this in the Bible. Alan this is a tradition of men, stemming from Roman Catholicism, most Protestant groups compromised as they just wanted the money too. Today many people (possibly most) who receive a Church salary are incompetent and the Church would be blessed if most leaders left their ministries completely.
I see where you’re coming from with the actual physical travel, but in the bigger picture and realm we don’t see, in a way, isn’t he (as well as other RUclips ministries) “traveling”? They may be at home or in a studio, but they are working to send the message that Father has placed on their hearts and minds to edify and reach lost souls all over the world! They are putting together living lessons that will travel ALL over the world! If Paul were alive today, and not in prison, he would’ve probably had the best RUclips ministry of them all, and wouldn’t those who were edified want to sew financial seed to help further his ministry and reach?

You don't have to give anyone money. You don't have to feel obligated to do so. There are a lot of RUclips channels that take advantage of their viewership and ask for donations or support that they may not need. I don't know how RUclips monetization works. I don't know how much profit there really is from that. Do you know? Can you tell me how much money that adds up to?
It's also said that a servant is worthy of their wages, and in cases where there are ministries on RUclips channel that provide a lot of helpful teaching, a lot of guidance, all in the name of God's work for the benefit of the rest of us believers, I don't see any problem with donating to those ministries. Judge them by their fruits. That is up to you.

I faced a tiny amount of blowback for starting up my Patreon page in 2018, but I must admit that those few voices took up more space in my mind than they should have! It all started with one person contacting me, looking for a way to support my ministry on RUclips. Patreon was just the mechanism, and slowly others wanted in. My biggest viral video in 2019 and the sudden shutdown of the world in 2020 led others to my work as well. I can't thank my patrons for the freedom they give me to create meaningful content that takes time to make and doesn't have to be click-baity or following the whims of the algorithm. What I don't understand that some pastors have mansions, multiple expensive cars, etc. but their congregation is suffering Financial. I have seen this first hand, widows that losing houses, no car and church won't lift their hands to help but yet these people pay tithes faithfully for 20 plus years. They put money in the church building, but won't help the church which is us. I agree on supporting pastors when I see the money is winning souls.
Once I was approached to help a mother and her son by the deacon in this big church, I went home and pulled out my own fridge and freezer to help this mother, the church wouldn't even take her to the store, but yet we raised thousands each Sunday. I was done!!!!
You are right there is a lot of ugly stuff happening. Many people are misusing the Bible verses and Supressing the Church. We should know the bible in the Context! But anyways we should invest in the Kingdom of God, for proclaming the Gospel ! But let every one discern and prayful take decesions on how to support the Ministry of the Lord.

This is one subject that grieves me the most. I don’t understand how believers have a problem with supporting the church and those called to full time ministry. But we are able to give to everybody else. These are God’s servants who are edifying your souls.

I commented on your last video about sharing a message of my own. My own journey with God started around seven years ago in 2014. I had a dream not too long ago where I saw the silhouette of Jesus walking on the seacoast, when he stopped, held up his hand and said, "Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand." (Matthew 4:17). After I heard that I woke up. I prayed a lot about that dream and so many other things. God wrote on my heart and the Holy Spirit guided me in finally being able to write a message for people, what I wanted to share, which was God and my journey with God. I will be supporting your ministry and possibly a few others, because you all are doing in the service of God and Jesus Christ. The message that I have written out I also hope to somehow get into and audio/text version that I can put on to my RUclips, but that's difficult for me to do on my own due to my own limitations. This is so true. I'm working full time, going to seminary full time (paying out of pocket), family time, and I just started a RUclips channel. The Lord is faithful and He provides. I do look forward to doing ministry full time one day. My RUclips Channel is only a fraction of what it could be, if only I had more time to devote, I suppose in the Lord's timing it will happen.

When I see that a pastor or minister has to work a 9-5 job, instead of focusing fully on his church and congregation is saddening.

I agree with you totally in this video. Some people are quick to judge churches when they are asking for money, but will give or spend money on things that don’t nurture him or her spiritually.

I hadn’t even thought about giving before because it honestly just hadn’t occurred to me to give, and I imagine that’s how it is for others as well. It’s more obvious to give in church because I associate tithing with the more traditional church and outreach ministry. But I actually watch a lot of Christian RUclipsrs and y’all are out here doing a lot of beautiful work changing hearts for Jesus and explaining Scripture for application and ease of understanding. I read an article a short while back that listed reasons people (men) go into the ministry. Here were the top four reasons:
1. money
2. power
3. to be famous
4. women
These are not part of the Christian walk.

Right. A pastor does not “deserve” to have a nice car or to have vacations paid for. Those are luxuries and aren’t necessary for anyone to sustain a ministry.

You get paid from you tube. How much money depends on how many subscribers you have. Yes I do know it is alot of work doing what Allen does and other you tubers.
Ha, not free in the least Alvin. I won't get into the specifics, but our budget is quite large to do all that we do here. There are expenses no one really knows about that we don't feel comfortable sharing with you all.

Hey Brother Allen, I've been greatly influenced and led through your online ministry and appreciate all that you do. And while i agree that pastors need to be compensated fairly and justly and we shouldn't judge them for family vacations and other benefits that laypeople have, I am not sure that priests taking meat home and selling it back to the meat market would be a point you needed to make unless there was research into proving this was true as I thought this food was holy and set aside for the priests and their families only and not for just anyone to eat... would appreciate your thoughts and feedback. Confirmation! God wants me to tythe and trust in his provisions. Not to grasp tightly to the moneys God has already given me and give back out of my first fruits. Kingdom first! Lives reached and brought into Gods family. Thank you Allen!

What troubles me is how highly compensated some leaders called pastors are and how little money they are using to impact the community or their parishioners lives in meaningful ways yet they feel ok in million dollar homes, luxury cars beyond Lexus. Love how you take on these topics and scriptures that Most Christians don't discuss or want to b held accountable to. All these scriptures yet we keep hearing same ole sermons in church. I agree with the divided attention of pastors yet the uneasiness of putting yourself full time in ministry at the mercy of wishy washy Churches.
Alan you've taken this passage completely out of context, the context is TRAVELLING evangelists, i.e. people who leave their homes and travel abroad to preach the gospel, Paul was doing this as a travelling apostle. YOu miss the point that "bring along a believing wife" at verse 5 refers to taking a wife abroad on a missioary journey, it's not talking about somebody going to a church fellowship half a mile from their home on a Sunday. Also at verse 7, soldiers who go to war, don't do so at their own expense, they can expect payment, but soldiers have to LEAVE their homes to go to war, nobody pays a soldier to si at home for 40 years. I'd love to debate you on this on zoom or webex. If 1Cor 9:1-14 is commanding monetary payment for Christian ministers then pay everyone a salary, pay each deacon and elder, pay the person who sweeps the floor, pay everyine or nobody who sits at home and is not a travelling evangelist. Sadly Alan your just following man -made tradition. preachers who are no travelling evangelists have no right to demand payment. If people wish to pay you for your RUclips work then that's upto them and is none of my business as your doing evangelism and I understand 1 Corr 9:1-14 as stating that evangelists can be supported, although as the interenet did not exists in the 1st century the expectation was of leaving your home to do mission work far away.. But the modern Church tradition of paying one person who preaches week after week to the saved is not biblical, you won't find this in the Bible. Alan this is a tradition of men, stemming from Roman Catholicism, most Protestant groups compromised as they just wanted the money too. Today many people (possibly most) who receive a Church salary are incompetent and the Church would be blessed if most leaders left their ministries completely.
I see where you’re coming from with the actual physical travel, but in the bigger picture and realm we don’t see, in a way, isn’t he (as well as other RUclips ministries) “traveling”? They may be at home or in a studio, but they are working to send the message that Father has placed on their hearts and minds to edify and reach lost souls all over the world! They are putting together living lessons that will travel ALL over the world! If Paul were alive today, and not in prison, he would’ve probably had the best RUclips ministry of them all, and wouldn’t those who were edified want to sew financial seed to help further his ministry and reach?
