Thanks, great episode.
I would like to see a video were you both show cleaning and figure maintnence. I have wanted to know a few tips on the subject thanks and keep up the good work.
Awsome show!!!
It really will help me
Love your videos new fan :D
Would love it if they re-release it, I want a muramasa statue badly.....
My sister and I has a 2 figures that are broken it's the Mortal Kombat Scorpion figure and Rurouni kenshin which is a Qposket figure both swords snapped and we don't know how to fix it. what's the best thing to fix a broken sword of a figure?
"Better, stronger, faster...cuter"
=D
I would drill holes into the top and bottom sockets so I can put metal rods at the corners to help then glue it into place.
Was thinking ye were going to cover something like a broken arm and inserting a pin, but I suppose these kind of issues might be more common.
Another tip that's handy for people is the hobby to know is regarding pieces that don't want to fit together; use a hairdryer to heat up the piece a little, and the plastic becomes more flexible allowing you to plug them together. Getting them apart again can be iffy, but still.
I'm having an issue with a figure of nezuko I just got and one of her flames is just too heavy and it just wasnt cut well so it fits together wonky. even trying to epoxy it isn't having much success because I can't hold it all night. What kind of pin would you recommend?
@@TasiaShareef So long as you drill correctly, keeping things lined up and going deep (but not too deep!) enough, even a straightened-out paper-clip can work, depending on the weight of the piece.
Having had access to a bunch of mechanical parts I could salvage bits from, I don't think I've ever specifically bought something to serve as a support. So long as you have something durable, combining a simple pin with your epoxy should give it time to set correctly and stay sturdy. The drill bit itself is the more important part, as misaligning the holes will cause big issues, and you need them to fit close to your support. I got a cheap-ish set of Tamiya hand drill pieces 10-ish years ago from HLJ, and I still use them today.
Hope that helps!
You should be able to find it or something similar in hardware stores.
I recently opened up my Alter Purple Heart 1/7 Scale figure, and I can't fit one of her
head pieces in the peg hole. Specifically the one by her hand. And I don't wanna us excessive force, out of fear of breaking the peg.
Any advice on what I should do?
good to know this
Would this Tamiya epoxy work for resin figures? Not PVC?
this also works with resin kits.
Loctite works great you just need to know what your doing. First make sure it fits back perfect.
Will momohime ever get a rerelease?
Love you guys!, any chance for a shoutout?!
Quick Question, any idea when anything new in D-arts line will be announced?
WE HAVE THE TECHNOLOGY, WE CAN REBUILD HER.
Did This age well? No
@@alexsmask5395 why?
@@xyanide1986 holy shit u still use ur 7 year acc ?!-
@@xyanide1986 I’m saying it didn’t because mine broke and wouldn’t go back on :(
first instinct ? I would use UHU allplast. I have used it for gundam kits and figma figures. Apply pressure for 4-5 min and wait 24 hours (to be safe) and fixed :D
Luckily never had a broken figure, however I have suffered warped parts, paint rubbings and some cheaper pvc going all gummy. However, I have had broken weapons which are a pain to fix. Glaives from Kanu Unchou are exceptionally bad for this.
Do you sell that epoxy on HLJ?
Sadly we cannot ship epoxy overseas at the moment.
wow the girl that you are fixing her waist is adorable
Whoop whoop!
You should be able to find epoxy at a local hardware store.
Thanks for leaving a link to buy the cement 😒😑
Unfortunately we cannot ship cement abroad due to the chemicals in it, sorry about that.
I mean, drill 4 holes, stick two metal bits in the holes and stick it with some super glue or even epoxy if you really want.
In my experience many of these figures have been intentionally shipped with their bodies in two halves, with detached arms, legs, heads, etc! All to ensure less likelihood of breakage in transit! One simply plugs them back together with a little encouragement from glue!
Whar is REALLY a bitch is when a figure falls in siuch a way that it breaks at the slenderest part of the ankle! Try getting THAT back together to stay! I've been trying for days and despairing.....
Where is hjl because I wanna work there?!?!
Eh... Básicamente han hecho un video muy largo de como arreglar tus figuras usando cola y pegamento. Nunca se me habria ocurrido a mi sola, wow (?)
