You should look at White’s Chore boots. They appear to be exactly the same as these Shop boots but just in different colors. They are also on sale right now, under $300 & more sizes available.
I just received my chore boots & yep they are exactly the same. I was able to grab a pair of shop boots when Filson put them on clearance. They are great all around boots! I have all 3 color ways now & like them all! Thanks for your initial review bc idk Filson even had that collaboration with White’s.
I haven't really been wearing them yet. I will once I put some miles on them. Ive been trying to really break my Ramblers, because I love the worn in look you see online but man, they are tough to break in.
I've never heard anybody say Vibram the way you did, maybe it's a Canadian thing idk. But here in Montana (not too far from the border) every person I have heard say it throughout my life has always said it like "vibe-rum" or maybe it would be "vie-brum" either way sounds the same I think. What do you think, do we have it wrong?
I drove all the way through Montana on a family trip to go to the twin cities. Was beautiful from what I can remember. I pronounce it "vibe-rum" in my own time but boot enthusiasts pronounce it how the Italians pronounce it "vee-brum", as the company was founded it Italy. But Ive watched videos where even people who work for Vibram, including execs and reps pronounce it "vibe-rum" so I guess it depends how specific you want to get with the pronunciation.
What is the material for the footbed? Is it thick full grain leather like a normal White's boot, or have they gone with something cheaper and less durable?
It seems that way. They are so much different than any of their other boots. Like the ID inside the tongue? Whites has never done that. But I think they made in the Spokane factory as they just released the "Chore" boot which is pretty much the same boot as this which is made in Spokane.
You always come through with boots nobody else reviews, thanks bud.. love those boots
Thanks man.
I have 20 pairs of white’s boots and love them all.
Tough durable boots. Im biased toward pacific NW as well.
These boots are really nice-looking!!
Thanks.

Yes, they are the same boot. I like the chore boot more because they have nicer rough out.

Maybe do a follow up on these. They are a very unique make up from a whites.

probably priced right for what it is. it's good enough for what it is.
They are for sure not "real" Whites boots. More like higher tier Timberlands. But they are resoleable.

@@vancanadastyle3365 ahh, thanks for the info

The footbed is cheaper, some sort of a synthetic like nylon, with the insole over to compensate.
seems like they're not made in the main factory

ditch the otholite pad and its way more comfortable
