    Great review. Love this one. Its on my short list. Will eventually get it. I want the blue. This will be a "classic" in 20 years. Always enjoy your videos and reviews.

      It is already a classic after being originally released in 1978 as the Tissot Seastar B.callum!Do your research!

    To solve the problem with the seconds hand lining up, i went to the dealer who had a few in stock. selected the one that lined up and bought that. Looks like 2 out of the 5 they had lined up, the others didnt. I really wanted the quartz when it came out. love the ease for a daily. Already have autos.

    This one is on my list, but in green. Very good value for money.

    Excellent review and totally agree with that quartz PRX review, as I bought one and it's very disappointing. I sold it, luckily for just about the same price. That a G-Shock Mudmaster seconds hand can hit every marker and my Swiss made Tissot hit only one is inexcusable. This one is definitely better, but I wonder a bit about the underlying quality given the shoddy work on the quartz. That bracelet will be too small, inexcusable for an integrated bracelet, not to make it wearable for bigger wrists. In all honesty, better to get one of the very attractive Seiko Presage Sharp Edge range. The Presage SPB167J1 Sharp Edge which I did get, it's been out a while, I think Tissot copied the dial. It has a 70 hr power reserve, sapphire crystal, front and back and a matching colour date window. It's superior in every way, only costs around $1,000...and it fits everyone. Much better choice if you want a very nice dress watch. I would advise to compare the two dials in person before deciding. All my opinion of course, but I felt my money was better spent on the Presage.

    Make an automatic in 36mm. There taking there sweet time on it. I’m patiently waiting here.

    Just got mine today in light blue. Is the date a jumping hour? Looked fast while setting it but have not worn it at midnight yet to see

    A colour matched date wheel would have been nice.

    I liked it from the first release. Unfortunately my 8.75 wrist doesn't like the bracelet.

      Yeah usually I’m 2 or 3 links removed. I was surprised I only had to take out one.

    Watching reviews of Chinese watches that get a lot of hits for 'short hands.' Same here. Hour hand looks as short as the hands on a Parnis. Shouldn't the hour hand hit the base on the hour markers?

    The case back is probably not meant to be removed by the end user, because this movement cannot be regulated. They are laser regulated at the factory, and apparently Tissot doesn't want you fucking around in 'their' watch.

      Hamilton is the same way but at least you can take the case back off.

      @@watchmegobroke4365 sadly, this is one of the things that has prevented me from buying a Tissot or a Hamilton as of yet.

    Thanks for the video. Can you say, will Tissot make powermatic 80 version on 35mm models ?

    • @watchmegobroke4365
      @watchmegobroke4365  2 года назад

      Not sure. I would imagine if the quartz versions in 35mm sell well they would probably do it.
