Recorded on 5/3/18. The MTA is demoing this bus until May 25th, 2018, which is making weekday runs on the X17J. The schedule is published weekly online on www.silive.com. The bus is by no means a slug, powered by a 380 horsepower 1250 lbft torque Cummins ISL9 mated to an Allison B500R transmission. We hit ~62 to 65 MPH on the NJ Turnpike, a far cry from this bus's counterparts in Hong Kong, which are governed to a measly 43 MPH. Enjoy the ride =)

I never quite understand why a 2 hour bus trip video is amazing but it is cool to see downtown Manhattan at 60fps. Cool vid.

Man you guys are being spoiled for having this bus in service for the next few weeks because it seems nice to ride in my opinion. Sucks MTA won't be ordering anymore once the testing phase is over due to clearance issues with the depots 😑... still nice video though even if it was over 2 hours long lol 😏
Whoever was complaining about the traffic between 34:30 and 35:30 needs to be quiet. There's nothing you can do about it.
