Love the little hand movements and head tilts when they are talking
In Half-Life most of HECU are like psychopaths enjoying killing civilians, in Black Mesa mod, HECU are not comfortable with doing their mission except killing Gordon because he killed many soldiers.
for some reason i thought those dialogue lines were in the original too
Even in the original game, at the end of we've got hostiles when you're crawling through the vents, one of the soldiers complained that not a single scientist he's killed fought back
Most? They don't like killing civilians as far i know even mad that no one foughts back
In the original game a soldier questions who made the orders to kill scientists.
@@Unlucky1776 Yeah there are quite a few lines of the hecu feeling guilty, I think they just have the mindset of "the scientists are evil as they caused an alien invasion"
I was like "Wait? Is this some cut dialouge?" But then i saw the description and was like "Oh! It was those terrorists in Underhell's first level".
Reminds me of Red v Blue for some reason. Maybe it’s the way they talk. Really solid work btw
love this Half Life needs more HECU conversations
You should make it more distorted as they speak since there a shit ton of portals being opens and closed constantly which would make it harder for the walkie talkies/comms to work

How did you get those textures for the H.E.C.U soldiers?
By using the Crowbar tool and extract the parts along with their textures in a separate folder

The second I heard “hey” I thought this was gonna be a rvb “you ever wonder why were here” reference, and now I’m disappointed.
The blood splatters look kinda wack but the heck models are pretty cool
Question, why hecu camo is white in desert?
It’s urban camo, they changed it because desert camo worked too well on low resolution monitors.
what are these models for the HECU soldiers? the PS2 models with fan made HD guns?
