Man I was born in 87 and I feel like I was born a decade or two too late. I couldn't imagine experiencing all these bands in their heyday and seeing all these legends live! 80s rock/metal/thrash, etc is my favorite music. Thank you for your passion and love in keeping the spirit of the 80s alive!
I used to always say when I was in school, "There's always going to be that one guy who resembles the 80s or 90s." I feel like as the years go on the more people do this. I used to hear people just romanticizing it and yeah that could be true but I take it kind of a lifestyle choice. I don't think Rikki is out here using a brick cellphone or a walkmen but I think trying to bring that energy back especially in the crazy times we're in is something truly magical. Keep rocking on...RIKKKKKKKKKIIIIIIII!!!!
I was around in the 8Os . I was 9 years old in 1980. 18 by 1989. I saw all the 80s bands live Motley, Van Halen with and without Dave starting in 84 when I was going on 13 😂. Still have not seen a band as good as them live. To this day. I saw all the Ratt tours . Saw Bon Jovi open for Ratt. I would love to bring back the 80s music. I listened to Ratt at work all day yesterday. Now I’m 53 going on 13 😂. I love Tampa Bay , Clearwater, Sarasota etc. Keep on rocking.
Those were great times! I went to all those shows as well. I remember watching Guns N Roses open for Motley in 87 and I had know idea who they were! Thanks for watching 🤘
@ That’s awesome. I saw Gun and Roses open for Aerosmith in 1988. I was disappointed because GNR played half acoustic set. They were still great. But that was my first time ever seeing Aerosmith. And they put on one hell of a show. Permanent Vacation Tour. Concerts today are just not the same. I’ve just about quit going. My last show was My Morning Jacket. I had to make myself not watch it on YT . But it was the same show they always played. They were awesome the first time I saw them in 08. I miss the mystery of the shows. There is another word I’m looking for. But I’m having a brain freeze. lol 🤣 mystique was the word I was looking for. I miss the mystique of concerts.
I was born in 2000, however I heavily relate to this guy in all aspects besides the fact I can't play an instrument. Sly is also my favorite actor, always has been. Life is all about doing what you enjoy and I can tell this guy does just that
RIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That aside I agree and can relate to having a nostaliga for the 80's though i was born in the 90s. My theory is the fact my parents did, so I was exposed too ALOT of 80's media. Both musically and tv/movies.
Born in the '90s??? Oh my!! I thought you were my age based of your video content and music ability.. I get into the 80s minutia on my channel too, but you've definitely got it down.. Have you seen Shock em Dead or Rock and Roll Nightmare?? Fun and accurate movies I've reviewed of those special times I am surprised more people don't remember..
A pleasure being on the show, Joe!!🤘🏻
So fun, thank you!
Love this RIKKI 💜!!
You're keeping the music and look alive, but just as importantly, you're keeping the fun and positivity of the 80s alive as well. Awesome! Rock on! 🤘
I really dig your videos

So cool, haha ... I saw them in 1992 and I was into them 💯!
RIKKKKKKKKIIIIII!
Nostalgia is a sweet pill to swallow, cause ohh my god the 80 had it's dark side too......
well said
This was awesome
I graduated high school in 1980. Joined my first road band in 1982. It truly was an amazing time for rock and roll.
He’s a proper dude !
You're the man, Rikki! Rock hard, ride free!
Born in 1971 here.
Italian born and raised.
I've been to the States just once in 1994.
Man, this guy Nikki's image hits me deeply

@rikkithrash all the best on the single debut - 80s 🤘🏽🤘🏽
Rikki is badass
Next time Rikki has to show his superman bass !
In 1990 I was 5 and I only wanted to play 80s metal style drums or electric guitar. Mum made me play piano for 11 YEARS. I FKN hated it too.

I was just listening to this and it watching. I thought Dave Rubin was the host. Sounds a lot like him.
RT IS 80% cooler than the actual 80s were…..
1985 was a great year

I liked this dude better than the original bass player in S.P
People have told me many times that I'm "stuck" in the 80s. Know what I tell them? "Being stuck somewhere implies I wanna leave" lol.
Is the title supposed to read "His time IN steal panther"?
Yes it is 👍
Obviously
Are you asking because you're really confused or just to be a snobbish ass?
Good interview, what he said about not signing a contract with Steel Panther doesn’t match what it says online. 🤔
You have an Ib bass. What is that???
90% sure this dude was a tight end for Vanderbilt or some shit
I was 18 years old in 1985.That decade was pure magic.
