Really good interview. An interviewer that lets the interviewee answer the questions. An interviewee that thoughtfully and honestly answers the questions. My opinion is Dave was the best PJ drummer. Matt Cameron is solid but Dave gave everything flavor. Glad he's doing well and his relationship with music is still clean. It sucks about the Hall of Fame BS, no matter who is to blame. The good thing is the Hall of Fame is a bunch of crap and counts for nothing really. Dave Abbruzzese is in the fan's hall of fame, which is all that really counts. I enjoyed this, well done. Peace.

I know music is subjective, but those first two albums were magic. Dancing was ok, but was more pop and less balls. Reach and Detonator where complete garbage. I mean, when you have to bring in Desmond Child as a writer and Bon Jovi as a guest background singer, your band has officially jumped the shark. But of course, Robbin's addictions were worse by the time those last two records hit. The glue that held that band together was gone.

Great interview with Tony! I still recall the first time I heard Seven Seas and it blew my mind! Glad to hear he gave props to his initial start with the Philly/Jersey band (Whitefoxx I think) where he got his initial pro start.

It’s amazing that Ratt was able to hold it together as long as they did. From everything I’ve seen and read, the atmosphere in the band was toxic most of the time. Kudos to Beau Hill for being able to cope with that and massage such great albums out of the band.

I heard "Knights Of The New Thunder" in '85 or '86. Then "Tell No Tales" & "Intuition". Saw them in '89 at Rock Palace in Hollywood. As of recently, I started going back & listening to TNT again & watching them touring these days. Tony's voice still sounds great at 62. They should have be bigger. Doc McGee was managing them in the '80s

So what constitutes Great White being Great White now? There is footage on RUclips of them playing just a year or two prior to 2003 with Michal, Jack and Ty in the band, and they were most def Great White. Feb 2003 rolls around with Jack and Mark Kendall in the band and all the sudden oh no, that's not Great White.....BS. It had nothing to do with the sign out front of the club. If something were to happen with a band say like Foreigner, or Quite Riot, would it not really be Foreigner even though that's the name on the ticket that they are selling? Just leave it at you had nothing to do with setting pyro off in a club in 2003 and leave it at that, there's nothing wrong with telling it like it is. I get it, damage control and continuing to make a living as a musician. But 20+ years of the BS stories distancing. Dude is part of a band that has had 30 members in it, but is known for a classic era line up, and wants to sue because of pictures. 100 people died...dead.... and because you choose to be associated with the band involved (your choice) you want to sue people. MK was there because he needed a gig, plain and simple. For all intensive purpose, it was a Great White show, and they all knew it. It was right there in front of them, or behind them. Just look at the first 20 seconds of footage from that night, there are 2 big banners on the stage with the letters GW on them.

It's funny that he says that about amazing bands that should of been huge guns and roses was almost one of those bands that didn't get huge if it wasn't for the A and R guy who knows what would happen huge possibility no one would of heard of them a lot has to do with people pushing you at the label

It’s funny how he very delicately tries to describe Bobby Blatzer… said he was his least favorite and the reasoning sound exactly like Peter Chris from KISS. If you go watch he most recent interview where he’s talking about touring as RATT and Martin sueing him and his defense you start to realize why it’s so pathetic. The least important member who desperately tried to get writing credits but had no songwriting abilities ground it out 30 years and somehow became half owner of the RATT name. Weird how that works out. He just lain in wait for each member to have a moment in life that made them leave and he slowly gained control lol. I hope Warren wins the lawsuit. Bobby even admits when he doesn’t use the RATT name, no one came to see him play. He hasn’t connected the dots..

Good interview. I remember seeing those Cherry St. adds in Metal Edge and RIP. I was just a kid then and in high school, but was always a fan of the Sunset Strip bands. A Michigander myself, it's cool knowing that's where he came from.

yeah the whole Once Bitten, Twice Shy... thing.. When it came out, I felt it wasn't really Great White. I mean it was cool and they got huge exposure cause of it, it made money. But for me it's one of my least favorite GW songs recorded. They were so much better than that song. And Audie I always thought sounded so huge and great on those albums and perfect. Such an under rated drummer..

She is the ex of Jani Lane besides many many others… Anyways she talks about her ex J.L. Being sexually assaulted by a famous producer and rock musician. She never tells the name of the perpetrators… I believe that’s why J.L. Went so far down until he literally killed himself with alcohol and drugs.. To me if you loved him so much why r you hiding the name of the people? That is like protecting them and they need called out especially doing something that sick and no telling who else they have done this to or will . Long as you keep quiet about who they were the longer they can keep this sick behavior up and hurt many more J.L. Has she not heard of the Me 2 movement? If your to afraid or protecting them then why would you talk about it repeatedly and put it in one of your books ? I don’t know if it’s in others you have written I’ve only read one … someone done that to one of my loved ones they would never have a peaceful day again. They would pay for what they done as well!!
