Thank you for this video I’m with usx on a dedicated route but am not getting any miles, looking to go LP I hate that the trucks don’t have an app like the variant ones have you asked them about installing an spy at all?
How are u making out. I'm thinking of coming on in March as Lp and after tax fuel and payments for truck what can I exspect for pay? I can run 700 miles a day with my other company governed at 80?
So when I was solo i was bringing home 1200-1500.. lately I've been training my teammate, training I was bringing home 2300-2900. So if you think about training I would do it.
Yeah its both. Big part is you get paid all miles driven. So I usually do super solo, where he drives his hours then I hop in the seat and I drive 3 or 4 hours. And then once yall are in team training status you get all those miles. Plus the additional trainer pay
20 dollars a day. And you are paid all miles driven, his and yours. Plus other bonuses when your trainee upgrades. I'd talk to a recruiter to make sure what all the pay and bonuses are.
@@Ustc2022 nice! I'm just trying to learn as much as I can before I commit.. so as far as teams go. Are you both making a payment and who gets the truck in the end? If your truck had 350,000 when you leased it and it takes 4 years to pay it off. Then in theory it will have over 750,000? When will it need to be rebuilt?
Yes in theory, but we will just trade in for a newer one. So since I was here first and signed all paper work it will technically be mine, he technically works for me. I will have to give him a check every week once he is done training. I do know they will send me a new lease agreement once we are in full team status after his training because they will make the payment more.
@@youngsiles17 that's a good schedule. I had a chance to work that schedule if I would've went and worked for Pitney Bowes. The route was given to another driver though unfortunately.
@@Ustc2022 thank you for the fast response! That’s not bad at all. Personally I would just cruise at 65 mph to save fuel good to know you have that little extra speed to pass the 4 wheelers.
Hay my son is starting lease we live in Carlisle pa he went to Shippensburg pa term for training now they want to send him out to Chicago for a truck because there's none in the pa yard did they do that to you.
No because I went to Springfield, Ohio for mine and they had 2 truck for me to pick from and I liked one of them. If I didn't want either I would of had to go else where to get one. So yes that is normal
@@Ustc2022 thanks for the come back am be we can learn something too he was with dart and had a bad truck so here we are number 2 try again . I drove for about 10 or so yrs I don't no more thanks be safe

No I work at a different company but they don’t offer leasing so I’m trying to find a good company that has leasing right now I drive around 3200-4,000 miles a week coast to coast nearly so I’m wondering will I still be able to drive that and make good money with them and lease

Because your misconception of what and how this program works and it's purpose. This lease purchase program isn't for you to make a lot of money while paying off a truck. It's for you to make SOME money and pay off a truck in 4 years, period. Idk how yall get this idea of becoming Rich while on a lease purchase program, definitely not the purpose of it. But thank you for your opinion.
You lasted 4 months doing this lol I don't know why y'all work for these shit companies doing these shit leases, they set you up to fail, very rarely do you hear someone paying those trucks off. You pay $1000/week I pay $1500/month lol
It people like you that mess it up for the industry how much they paying you a dollar a mile 😂😂 you can go to landstar are F2F and bring home 3-7k a week to dumb for going there
Well if you will get the loan to pay off my truck I will go to landstar now..... let me know when you need my account number so you can transfer the money. I'll be waiting
Nice set up man👌🏾👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
This is our old truck. But yes it was nice.
So if I stay out 4 weeks at a time how much do you think I could bring home with lease purchase.
Which company are you referring to?
@ustcteam6757 US XPRESS of course I start my orientation tomorrow.
@HakeemTheDream616 I don't know what the money looks like over there. We are at covenant now. We haven't been at usx in over a year
Looking forward great 👍 truck 😊
We are no longer there
At least u making more than a company driver bro
Yeah definitely!!! Specially now at this company.

. Usx has an app.
And LP had dedicated also. And different accounts. You don't have to just be otr

Does the USX lease program include a balloon payment? What’s your payment?
No it doesn't. No money down, no credit check, no Balloon.
Well that has changed because wasn’t like that back in 2016 when I was working for them.
Do they have a no touch freight routes? Thanks
Yes. I don't touch freight. That's only family dollar and dollar general
I like your fridge where you get?
That one we got at Menard in Ohio. But lowes and homedept should have them
Why you choose US Xpress?
It was just my first company back when i started driving. And they don't require experience since my teammate is fresh out of school.
Does your truck have a driver facing camera?
No

I’m thinking about going lease through USX, worth it?
In my situation yes. How long are you wanting to stay out?
Reason I ask is because the longer you stay out, the better you do.
So that truck will be 100% yours when its paid for?
Yes. Once you pay it off, they send you the title.

That all depends on how long you stay out. You could do 80,000 if you busted ass
With is about 1500 a week
Is this still relevant cause as USX company home weekly i gross 85k so is it more now?? I only work 4 days and get 3 days off

What are the payments?
They all depend on miles and year.
Question how many miles does us xpress keep their trucks
For lease purchase or company trucks?
lease
The milage depends on the year etc. Which will make the price of the truck go up or down.
Mine was a 2020 with 349,000. My payment is 649 a week
Is it worth it im debating on switch to us express
