You have about $2,000 in fuel, you use what you don’t need, fuel is what kills LP drivers so manage your fuel consumption wisely because if you don’t that will quickly turn into you getting $200 in your pocket
You not running hard enough the truck has to gross 6K a week for lease purchase to make sense
I see how it makes sense because you talking about your net pay plus your advances but you also got the factor in that child support you pay is all $1100. OK that’s not your problem. That’s your expenses your personal expenses so you have to add the child support 1165. I think you said it was, OK so if they gave you that 1165 and your paycheck you just have to turn by the rent and pay it manually to child support but they paid all automatically so you have to add that 1165+ your paycheck was close to 700 so if you add those to togetherthat’s a decent paycheck. Simply include bills paid for automatically paid for you automatically.
You 1k in child support. You really made $1500 that week.
The goal is for you to save your own money to buy your own truck !
I know but it's impossible to save anything when you're not getting miles and they literally only pay enough to cover expenses. And you have to idle your truck to run the air conditioner etc

Sounds like your one of those people that want the 3k paychecks bit dont want to deal with the start up. Going LP is like starting trucking all over again your gonna get less money than someone who actually has their own authority. Your just starting out you gotta give it a couple of years

The issue is your truck does not gross enough money for you to bring home any money. You need to at least gross $6000 a week while watching your fuel consumption.
I left us xpress lease 5yrs ago I see they haven't change any, still getting over on drivers.

I think your numbers are off. $595.61 cant be your paycheck total. maybe you need to itemize your numbers again

I don’t understand how anyone can lease from mega corps. Their goal is not to make you money, their goal is to make money. They’ll get you enough work to cover the truck payment and the other fees and that’s about it.

U know how company’s sponser new drivers and pay them at a way lower wage this just like that I’m sorry they did this check venture out as company driver I make about 74k year roughly 1700 week before taxes
And you atill have to pay taxes at the end of the year SMH
If you got money to put down on a brand new truck, then go and do that these companies are putting you into a truck with no credit checks no nothing so you gotta understand that point of view as well. I’m not saying that what they do is right I’m saying that you gotta do what works for you, I’ve done this before and I’ve made good money. I’ve had great weeks and I’ve had bad weeks. These lease trucks are out there to make money.
You should bring that to their attention. We gotta take a stand against the lease purchase. And there are no gate keepers. Anybody get into trucking especially on the admin side.
Be your own broker that where all the money is
