Just saw the video of ford regarding the eco blue engine that is being used by the latest everest. I wont hold my breath as I have my hesitations regarding the oil pump.

Question is engine longevity? Forcing a small displacement to produce such huge output puts a toll on the engine itself.

Mine is a raptor same engine n tranny after 3 weeks its back to casa for repair. Major rattling sound in the tranny
I agree to disagree. It is designed to produce the specified torque and power for a given displacement so I don't think it is an issue. Build quality, owner driving style and maintenance are however, a different issue.
I own a 2017 Fiesta Sport w/ a 1.0L ecoboost engine, traveled 100,000 km already and not a single issue.... I do get it serviced every 4 months (20,000 kms) as I travel 160 kms/day with the vehicle.

Yes it is engineered to produce that output that is why it is a bi-turbo engine so it may reach that output, but one must also consider engine stress. Every seal and nooks and crannies of that engine will be subjected to higher stress to produce that output.
@@jeromebalingit6420 I do believe that engine stress has been accounted for in the design. That is a very rudimentary element that is considered in the design. Plus the fact that in machinery design, there is always a factor of safety that is included. Unless they want to rip-off their customers, engine stress for a small displacement is not an issue here.

May reliability issue ang 2.0 engine. MAF sensor, EGI and EFI fails within 1 year. Daming reported na both from Ranger and bi turbo Everest

Yep Kinda. so each cylinder and piston will work harder with smaller displacement. Peak power with 2.0L will be at higher RPM compared to the 3.2L or higher displacements. But this can be resolved by using stronger block, pistons and crank shaft.

Yes it is an Endeavor which is found in the Indian Market. The name Endeavor to Ford’s vehicle is only found in the Indian market, whereas in rest of the world markets where this vehicle is available it comes under the name given to it the ‘Ford Everest’...
Secondly as of 2019-2020 fiscal year Ford India has not yet decided to bring in this 2.0 Bi-turbo engine and 10spd auto tranny, it is still being offered with the 3.2L engine and 6spd auto tranny.
But the features that is being offered globally is found in the Indian Endeavor’s too like you get start/stop button etc.

The new Raptor is already on sale in the Philippines, and therefore Ford will not throw money into the old Everest. The new Everest is short before to be launched. Everybody - who buys a "2020 Everest" now, will get an old and outdated version. Better wait for an additional couple of months and buy the real new Everest.

I feel that calling this the "2020" Everest is click-bait.
Ive questioned this to several dealers, the answer is never very clear. They keep saying its a 2020 unit, but your order will say 2019. So we are purchasing a vehicle already a year old? We have waited 8 months for a unit in CDO and reserved the unit in August. We are Putting 700k down and found out Friday 11/19 that they are not getting the unit we wanted. So we now are negotiating with a dealer in Manila. Ford customer service has a bad reputation in the Philippines, they really need a reboot.
There is no 2020 Everest. It's just a pathetic ploy by the owner of this RUclips channel to get more 'views' on the video.
I think more specifically the more technical term is MY2020 (Manufacturing Year 2020). Because around this time of the year next year, they will still be manufacturing the same car that consumer bought last month until they start manufacturing a new iteration.
